Just As You Have Received Christ

Audio Version here: www.bit.ly/audio1999 You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Conference Registration Here: www.streamglobe.org/conference2019 Colossians 2:6-7 (NET) Therefore, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him and firm in your faith just as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. Chinenye accepted the Lord Jesus during her first year on campus. She continued to grow in her knowledge of the Lord through the ministry of her campus fellowship while she was on campus. When she graduated and started her life in the city, she started attending a church that was much more liberal than the fellowship in which she grew. She saw that in that church, the ladies and young men dressed ‘anyhow’, and were quite careless with certain moral boundaries. Chinenye started gradually condoning and tolerating certain things she wouldn’t condone before. Three years passed and Chinenye had blended into this new church quite well. One evening in the mall, she bumped into a lady who she had led to the Lord while on campus. This lady was so excited to meet her again because of the way the Lord used Chinenye to save her and deliver her from many demonic entanglements. When Chinenye got home that night, she wept and wept because meeting that lady made her realize how far she had fallen. Here was a lady she led to the Lord years ago, but she knew her current spiritual state was a shadow of what it used to be. She knew she did not have the power to disciple anyone the way she did back then. Her life was now full of compromises and empty platitudes to appease her dying conscience. When Chinenye got back to her senses and wanted to be restored back to the height from which she had fallen, she called the person who discipled her on campus. After discussing for hours, they found that Chinenye’s backsliding was due to her attending a liberal church full of indisciplined baby Christians pampered by teachers who didn’t have the ability to raise disciples of Christ because of their love for this world. They agreed that Chinenye would have to leave that Church. I have found that many times, terrible backsliding happens when believers do not continue to live their lives in the Lord the way they received Him(see today’s verse). People get into serious problems when they try to upgrade their faith and become more modern or liberal. They get into serious pitfalls when they try to ‘fix what is not broken’. Go into today remembering that the best way to continue in the Lord is just as you have received Him. The creed that was strong enough to convert you from a hopeless sinner into a saint can keep you growing in the faith if your focus is The Kingdom. As you grow, you will realize what is essential and non-essential in doctrine. But remember that any Apostolic work that could convert you from being a sinner should never be despised but celebrated. Prayer: Dear Lord, please deliver me from pitfall on this my walk of faith. Help me continually grow until I see you face to face. Amen. Want to be born again? He Will Come And Save You

This is the word of God to someone today. The Lord wants you to remember that He is the one who called you and chose you; you were not the one who chose Him. He wants you to rest in His grace and assurance that He is faithful and He will do it. He will bring you into the fulfillment of His word concerning your life. No word He has spoken concerning you will fall to the ground. Rest is the posture of heart that can receive the fulfillment of the things spoken by God. That is why we are instructed not to be anxious, but when anxiety tries to fill your heart because of an issue you are facing, pray about it with thanksgiving. Do this until the peace of God guards your heart and you are no more anxious (see Phil 4:6-7). Anxiety is a fruit of unbelief, and unbelief hinders the flow of God’s grace in any life. Remember that with the patriarchs of old, when God spoke, they believed it not because it made sense to their logical minds, but because God was the one who spoke. Go into today remembering that He is the Lord God. All power in heaven and on earth still belongs to Him. He is never too late. Isaiah 34:5: “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.” Prayer: thank the Lord for the grace to seek His face. Love Unconditionally

Audio Version here☞ www.bit.ly/audio1259 You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Conference Registration Here: www.streamglobe.org/conference2019 Matthew 24:12 (KJV)And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Tade was cheated time and time again by fake believers who sought to take advantage of his brotherly love and devotion to the body. It got to the point he now found it hard to love people who claimed to be brethren. He didn’t know that the enemy’s game plan was to make his love wax cold and quench his faith. You see, it is the same heart with which you love the Lord that you also love His brethren. If your heart has taken up the attribute of love for the Lord, it will be impossible for you not to love His brethren and even other people created in His image. Walking in this kind of love is a product of faith in your heart, for faith working through love is the fruit of the renewed heart. Waning love ultimately leads to an eroding away of the faith in your heart. The victory that overcomes the world comes because of your faith (1 John 5:4). The prince of this world tries to steal your faith by proliferating iniquity in the world. He knows that if your love [for the brethren and for other people created in the image of God] waxes cold, your faith will also wax cold, and you will no more be able to be an overcomer. The Lord has forewarned us that the love of many will wax cold because iniquity will abound. One reason He gives us this warning is because He does not want you to be among the ‘many’ whose love waxes cold. Go into today remembering that you have been given the grace to walk in the divine nature. This nature is one that loves unconditionally.Prayer: Ask the Lord to help you love unconditionally.-Pst. He Will Cleanse And Restore 2

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Conference Registration Here: www.streamglobe.org/conference2019 Download Audio Version: www.bit.ly/aud1998 Isaiah 1:18 (NET)   Come, let’s consider your options, says the Lord. Though your sins have stained you like the color red, you can become white like snow; though they are as easy to see as the color scarlet, you can become white like wool. When Adam and Eve sinned against God in the garden of Eden,  God who is all knowing still came to visit them in the cool of the day,  but they were the ones running away from Him. God called to them,  but they were the ones who did not want to show up (see Gen 3:8-10). This has been the story of fallen man from the beginning. We get ourselves dirty and instead of running towards God who alone can cleanse us,  we run away from Him because of the condemnation in our hearts. If they sin,  many believers believe that God is angry with them and does not want to have anything to do with them because of their sins. Instead of coming to God for cleansing,  they run away from Him and only become dirtier as a result. In today’s Bible verse,  we see that it is the Lord that is calling sinners to come to Him,  He’s not asking them to run away from Him. He wants sinners to come to Him because He is the only one that can cleanse us of our sins. Go into today remembering that even when our consciences condemn us,  God is greater than our consciences and He wants to cleanse and restore us,  not condemn us (see 1 John 3:20-22). Those that run to Him are the ones who will be washed and restored. This was the secret David understood that Saul did not. Prayer: Lord, deliver me from the latent pride that makes me run away from you instead of running to you for cleansing and restoration. Help me to understand that my justification before you is because of my faith in Christ(Romans 5:1), and I am accepted in the beloved(Ephesians 1:6). -Pst. He Will Cleanse And Restore

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Free Conference Registration Here: streamglobe.org/conference2019 Download Audio Version: bit.ly/aud1997 Matthew 8:2-3 (NET) And a leper approached, and bowed low before him, saying, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.â€ He stretched out his hand and touched him saying, “I am willing. Be clean!â€ Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Chikpe was feeling very guilty and ashamed for something bad she had done in the past. Because of this, she refused to ever enter any church because she believed God was so angry with her that he would destroy her if he saw her in His house. She lived under this cloud of condemnation for three years until she had a heart to heart conversation with her mother’s friend who was a believer. This woman was so loving and kind, and Chikpe felt like she could tell her anything. Because of the love of Christ that Chikpe saw through this woman, she became a child of God through faith in Christ Jesus. In the days Jesus walked the earth, lepers were some of the most marginalized and avoided people because leprosy had no cure and it could be transmitted from person to person. Somehow, the leper in today’s Bible text knew and believed that Jesus had sufficient power to heal him if He wanted to. Because he had faith in Jesus to come to Him, Jesus did not cast him away. He would by no means cast away those that come to Him. He was cleaned of his leprosy; his stolen glory was restored. Leprosy signifies impurity, stigma, things that the society would judge you for, shame and reproach. But just like in those days, Jesus is still cleansing leprosy(physical and spiritual) and restoring people’s lost glory, if only they would come to Him. Is there any stain in your life that may have made you run away from God all these years? Have your sins been so many that you don’t believe you have hope of redemption? Here’s what the Lord is saying to you today: Isaiah 1:18 (KJV) Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Go into today remembering that Jesus is still cleansing the unclean and restoring lost glories. Remember that He will by no means cast away anyone who comes to Him in faith (John 6:37, Hebrews 7:25). Pray like this: Ask Him to cleanse you today and He will. Ask Him to restore every lost or stolen glory and He will. simply ask Him in faith. -Pst. Abraham Damilola Arigi Want to be born again? Must I Be Wealthy?

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Free Conference Registration Here: streamglobe.org/conference2019 Download Audio Version: bit.ly/aud1996 Psalm 112:2-3 (KJV) His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.  Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever. Rachel was a part of a group that believed wealth was evil. Whenever she was engaged in conversations bordering around wealth and prosperity, she quickly quoted  Mark 10:25, stating how impossible it is for a wealthy person to enter the kingdom of God. She continued in this belief until her visit to another Church, where one thousand students were given scholarships in a single meeting and this did not affect their regular monthly crusade. Seeing this, she exclaimed,‘ my Church has never given a single scholarship out, we even struggle with paying our Pastor’s salary, but here is a Church giving out one thousand scholarships in one meeting! She returned home questioning her beliefs because she saw the good works people were using the wealth that God gave them to do. Our pursuit in the kingdom of God should never be earthly wealth(see Matt 6:32-33), however, in fulfilling our kingdom mandates in this world, some would be blessed with great material wealth, and there is nothing wrong with that. Those who are rich in the church must never fall for the deceitfulness of riches that makes a person puts his hope in them rather than in the Lord God (see 1 Timothy 6:17). They must realize that the Lord gave them material wealth for a peculiar purpose for which they would give an account before Him. The fear of missing eternal life has been the reason why so many believers repel wealth and riches from their hearts. If you are afraid whenever you hear about the rapture or the second coming of Jesus, you may need to reexamine your beliefs. You may have believed wrongly or have never really known Jesus. From today’s text, it is evident that wealth and riches can dwell with righteousness. Now, consider 2 Corinthians 9:8 (KJV), ’And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work’ Go into today knowing that there is grace in God that makes all sufficiency available to a man in other that he may abound to every good work. Remember that Jesus went about doing good (Acts 10:38), and you should do the same. Pray this way: in the name of Jesus and by His word, I cast down every stronghold(thought, imagination, mindset) in me that seeks to bring me under any kind of limitation. Forget Not All His Benefits

Audio Devotional & Bible here☞ http://bit.ly/audio1255 Psalm 103:2 (KJV) 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. Kemi’s car was really giving her trouble. She had spent a lot of money on it, but the car was still giving her trouble. The day she went late to office and missed a very important meeting because her car broke down on the road, she broke down in tears because she was frustrated. Somewhere in her heart Kemi was displeased with God because she had prayed about this and the problem was only getting worse. The car now became a reason for her passive anger and unthankfulness toward God. She had quickly forgotten how the car came through God’s miraculous intervention when she prayed. Many of us become unthankful in our hearts because of some issues we are facing. We forget all the many other things that God has done for us. We magnify our problems by focusing on them. But we are to rather magnify the Lord by focusing on Him and thanking Him for what He has been doing. This is the way to victory. You cannot be truly thankful in your heart and have a heavy unhappy heart. That’s why God says ‘in everything give thanks’ and ‘rejoice evermore’ (see 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). A thankful heart cannot be heavy or sad. Go into today remembering that one of the signs that you are not thankful is that your heart will not be joyful. The next time your heart wants to become heavy, remember all the good things the Lord has done for you and let thanksgiving lead joy into your heart. Process Matters 2

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Free Conference Registration Here: streamglobe.org/conference2019 Download Audio Version: bit.ly/aud1995 Numbers 20: 11-12 (NKJV) Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank. Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.â€ Moses had just performed a great Miracle, a desperately needed solution to the water problem facing the Nation of Israel. Water had been lacking in the camp and the people cried for a solution. Moses had to ask God for a way out and God gave him one. God told Moses to speak to a rock. However, Moses decided to go his way and do his style. He chose his own way over God’s instruction (process) by striking the rock instead of speaking as instructed. The interesting part of the story is that he got the result. Water gushed out for God’s people. God still honored His word to provide water but it cost Moses and Aaron their mandate of leading the people into the promised land. This passage is important to understanding our Christian walk. ‘Result’ is not all that matters. God wants us to live by his instructions. It is not okay to get people into Christianity if we use ungodly gimmicks. It is not okay to raise money for the Lord’s work if we deceive people into giving. It is not okay to gain proceeds from corrupt deeds even if it is to meet a kingdom need. You may succeed in solving a personal, family, national or kingdom problem but go on to lose your soul. Hence, Jesus admonishes us in Mark 8:26 “for what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?â€ To the world “the end may justify the means, but to the Christian, the means justifies the end. Go into day asking God to search your heart and lead you to repentance from trying to go your way. And Saul left the cave and went his way. The above passage tells us of a time when young David had the opportunity to kill Saul – a King who had been after his life. King Saul was particular about killing David because the same man who anointed Saul as king over Israel had also anointed David as a replacement King for Saul. However, David was yet to become King because the PROCESS to make him king had not yet happened. Although he was King Elect (anointed by the King Maker, Prophet Samuel), he knew the process of getting there mattered. He knew the law was clear, you never kill a man anointed by God and the reigning King, Saul, was anointed. In the passage for today, David told his men God forbid for him to break process to achieve his dreams – even a dream sanctioned by God. What are your dreams, what has God promised you or what are you hoping to get from God? A wonderful spouse? Money, Power, Leadership, being a missionary for Christ? Whatever it is you desire or maybe have even been promised by God, you must ensure that you do not go trying to get it outside of the will of God. Think of your life, If you were David, would you just do this ‘little’ wrong of killing an anointed man (whom God rejected) just to fast track your desire, hope, or God’s promise to you? Would you break ranks or stay the course and keep hoping and laboring? Go into today asking the Holy Spirit to search your heart, and help you wholly trust God’s plan while also giving you the grace to continue working hard within God’s command and rule. Receiving Answers To Prayers

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Free Conference Registration Here: streamglobe.org/conference2019 Download Audio Version: bit.ly/aud1992 Luke 18:1 (KJV) And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint. There was a city judge, known to be very godless and with great contempt for everyone. In this city was a widow who was cheated by some men, because they knew that she had no one who could speak for her. She, however, went to this wicked judge begging him to avenge her of these men, but the judge only pushed her aside. This widow, however, kept begging the judge until her plea became embarrassing to him. It was at this point that the judge called the men who cheated her and demanded that they return all that they have taken from her. The judge then turned to the widow and said, ‘ can I at least have my peace now?’ The widow smiled, thanked him, and went away. The story above was told by Jesus in Luke 18:2-5. And to conclude the story, Jesus in verse 7 asked, ’don’t you think that God will surely give justice to his people who plead with him day and night?’. My answer is “yes” because I know that God is good. What then is the reason why we have not received answers to so many prayers? Our text today says the answer is because we faint before the answers arrive. When Daniel prayed, God heard him and send the answer immediately, but a territorial spirit hindered his answer from reaching him. The answer effectually reached him because he did not faint; he continued to pray until he had received his answer. Just like Daniel, we must learn not to quit asking God until we have seen and received what we are asking for. We must learn to wear the devil out by our consistent trust in God. Go into today making up your mind not to quit asking until you have received your answer. Prayer: Father, please mobilize the forces of heaven to facilitate the speedy delivery of answers to my prayers, in Jesus name. Amen. — Dr. Emmanuel James Want to be born again?
