Dayo and Greg were students in the same class; they studied and played together as best friends. But at the end of the term, Greg always came first and Dayo came almost last in the class. It was after four years that Dayo met a principal who by the spirit of God counseled him and taught him about personal diligence. His principal told him that until results began to show for his work, he could not say he was truly diligent, because diligence always yields results when attained. Greg and Dayo were both hardworking but Dayo was not diligent enough to see good results in his studies. The attitude of Dayo was reading as much as Greg, and never more than Greg. He slept when Greg slept, etc. But when Dayo began doing more, his result came to a tally with Greg’s. Merriam Webster dictionary defines diligence as “the attention and care legally expected or required of a person (as a party to a contract)”. God has a will for you; your part in seeing His will come to pass is in your diligence. God has given His will and His part is unchangeable. Proverbs 22:29 (KJV): Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. Go into today making up your mind to truly seek diligence. Ask the Lord to help you to be truly diligent from this moment. —Dr. Emmanuel James Not yet saved? And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, though I fear not God, nor regard man; 5. yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. The widow in today’s passage had no help except the wicked judge who neither feared man nor God. Trying to ask a man such as this for help is almost a waste of time, but she asked anyway and kept asking until her help came. This is the word of the Lord for someone reading today: “ask one more time, do not give up”. “Keep on asking and you will be given what you ask for. Keep on looking and you will find. Keep on knocking and the door will be opened” Matthew 7:7 (NLT). If a wicked judge will give justice to a poor widow; God who is gracious and Just will certainly give what you ask for if you keep on asking. “If you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him” Matthew 7:11 (NLT). Continue to ask, do not give up on yourself; God has not given up on you. Go into today encouraged, strengthened and full of hope; don’t stop asking until your joy is full. God will answer you if you will not give up now. —Dr. Emmanuel James Not yet saved? Tap here☞ http://bit.ly/beSaved2 Bible in 1 Year: Luke 15-16 (in today’s audio) Streamglobe is interdenominational. Commit thy works unto the Lord and thy thoughts shall be established. Bola and Jennet were friends from their childhood; they grew up and did almost everything together. They had similar dreams and visions since they grew up together, but it was observed that Jennet achieved much more success. When Bola asked Jannet for the secret of her great success, she found out that Jennet was much more committed and dependent on the Lord. Janet would always tell her plans to God first and do only what God leads her to do. For instance, she once turned down a high paying job because she was not led to take it. It is good to have good plans and even confess them. But the establishment of such plans and confessions are only guaranteed when we commit them to the Lord. When we commit our plans to the Lord, He usually responds by giving us counsel. When we seek and follow God’s counsel, we will labor less and achieve more because God himself would watch over our work. (See Jeremiah 1:12). Go into today committing every single plan you have to God; ask His counsel and make up your mind to follow His leading. May grace for obedience be supplied to you in Jesus’ name. Amen. —Dr. Emmanuel James Not yet saved? Tap here☞ http://bit.ly/beSaved2 Bible in 1 Year: Ezekiel 13-18 (in today’s audio) Streamglobe is interdenominational. For everything belongs to you, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future. Everything belongs to you, and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God. When Apostle Paul wrote 1 Corinthians, the church in Corinth was divided. Some said Paul was their apostle, others said Apollos was their apostle, and some others said Cephas was their apostle. Because of this, there were divisions among them. Paul made it clear to them that these divisions were simply a sign of spiritual immaturity (see 1 Cor 3:3-4). Today, there are many denominations in the global Church, and each having their teachers, apostles, etc. There is nothing wrong with denominations as long as the people realize that the church is one, and all things, including ministers of God outside their denomination, belong to them. God never planned for his saints to receive from only one kind of ministry gift (see Eph 4:11-12), but that is exactly what happens to believers who continually limit themselves to one minister of God. Such a believer would not grow to his full capacity because he lacks spiritual balanced diet. If a minister is going to be truthful and humble, at certain points he would have to admit that there are certain kinds of graces that he has not been given. Even the great apostle Paul knew that he didn’t have grace for apostleship to the Jews–that was Peter’s department (see Gal 2:8, Rom 11:13). Churches established by Paul received from the ministry of Peter, John, James and even Jude. That was the culture of the church. Go into today remembering that all true ministers of God belong to you and you should be blessed by their unique grace if you belong to Christ. Do not limit yourself by being closed-hearted. —Pastor SD Abraham Not yet saved? Tap here☞ http://bit.ly/beSaved2 Bible in 1 Year: Proverbs 7 (in today’s audio) Streamglobe is interdenominational. For everything belongs to you, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future. Everything belongs to you, and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God. After experiencing the dark side of life for many years, Lamide was now humbled and open to accept the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Someone preached to her and she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior.Because Lamide understood what it meant to accept Christ as her Lord, she left the house of her boyfriend and rented her own apartment. She repented of all her old foolish ways and became consecrated to the Lord. As she grew, she understood that because Christ was now her Lord, all things that belong to Christ are under her authority. When she prayed, she prayed with this mindset, and she saw the results of her prayers. The evil spell of her enemy was destroyed and she was now free to walk in her glorious destiny. Many times, believers are not powerful because they do not realize that they belong to Christ and all things are under their control because of the authority of Christ they have through submission to Him. Even the devil (the prince of this world) flees when believers who submit to the authority of Christ resist him (see James 4:7). A believer who lives in disobedience to Christ cannot command Christ’s authority because he is not submitted to that authority. Go into today remembering that you belong to Christ and because of this, all things [that belong to Christ] belongs to you. Ask the Lord to teach you to walk in this reality. —Pastor SD Abraham Not yet saved? She accomplished this through diligence and wisdom. From her first week on campus, she determined what she wanted and started working towards it. By the time she graduated, she was already an expert at accomplishing her set goals. She was not easily distracted and knew how to get what she wanted. But she did not know God and despised the idea of being a ‘born again’. All her wisdom proved futile when she started dealing with enmity from the immortal realm. Her stepmother hated her more when she heard of how successful she was in school. Her stepmother somehow believed that Lamide’s success was shielding her children from succeeding. She paid a sorcerer to cast a spell against Lamide. The spell worked, and with time, Lamide’s life was in disarray. She stopped making progress, made some very bad choices in life, and ended up a very unhappy person. Lamide’s wisdom could not help her because her problems were spiritually orchestrated. Anyone who only depends on human wisdom will find himself disadvantaged if he has to deal with people who have some little spiritual upper hand. But anyone who has the wisdom from above can never be disadvantaged in any situation. In all things, God works for their good (see Rom 8:28). Wisdom from above is only available to those who are in God’s kingdom. (see John 3:3). As you go into today, go for the wisdom that has relevance both in time and eternity. As it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness.” As a wise man according to the system of this world, Agu was very good at hustling and grabbing to get. And he thought this same method would advance him in the kingdom of God as it advanced him in the world, but he was sorely wrong. For example, during Holy Communion in church, because he was the head usher, he would insist on taking the leftover bread and wine home because he believed in the power of the communion. There was nothing wrong with this in itself, only that even at times when some people in the church could not get Holy communion because more people attended the service than expected, Agu would still take some ‘leftover’ bread and wine home. Such were his ways even in the church. But after some time, he realized that this kind of wisdom was not helping him advance in spiritual stature, and that was what he wanted. There are many things done in the world that many have introduced into their kingdom life, but unknown to them, it is nothing but foolishness in the sight of God. The wisdom of this world is selfish, mean, self-centered, crafty, wicked, deceptive, proud, and ruthless. But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere (see James 3:17). It may not look so at the onset, but even in this world, the wisdom that comes from above is better than the wisdom of this world. It yields better fruits because God is still the owner and ruler of heaven and earth. This wisdom links His children with riches that don’t come with sorrows. —Pastor SD Abraham Download Sermons☞ http://bit.ly/SERmons Bible in 1 Year: Philippians 1-2 (in today’s audio) Streamglobe is interdenominational. KINGDOM AUTHORITY

If someone among you thinks he is wise in this age, let him become foolish so that he can become wise. Certain incidences had revealed to Agu that he did not have so much spiritual stature and authority in the kingdom. He knew this when he spent time with some missionaries and saw how much of Christ’s authority they walked in and even exerted over their environment. Jesus could command the storm and speak to the fig tree because of this authority. Paul could effectively be a witness for Jesus in the darkest places of the world and was dreaded by demons because of this authority. Agu now knew that even though our spiritual authority is inherited, we have to grow into it. Before he became born again, he was a very wealthy man in this world and was vast in the wisdom of this world. He now wanted the greatness of the kingdom of God, but was still using the wisdom of this world. Many things in the kingdom of God are antithetical to the kingdom of this world. For example, Jesus says those who are great in the kingdom of God are determined by their extent of service to others, not by the extent to which people serve them (see Matt 20:25-28). But it’s the opposite in this world. Also, in the kingdom of God, it is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35), but in the kingdom of this world, it is considered more beneficial to get than to give. If a person thinks he is wise [according to the standards of this world], that wisdom is very useless and cannot take him far in the kingdom of God. If he tries to use that kind of wisdom to advance in the kingdom of God, he will realize that he is making no progress. One of the reasons we must pay attention to the ministry of the word and prayer is because this is the way God recalibrates our minds to the standards of His kingdom so we can grow. —SD Abraham Not yet saved? For God’s temple is holy, which is what you are. Pastor Gbade’s joy was not full because he had godless and unruly children. He kept wondering why God did not save his children and do the one thing he wanted the most in life. He decided to take time again to seek the face of the Lord concerning this matter. After praying for three days and crying to the Lord concerning his godless children, the Lord told him that ‘He that destroys my temple I will destroy’. Immediately, he understood that the problem with his children was because of the deceitful way he had handled the word of God all these years. Unlike Apostle Paul, he couldn’t say “we have not handled the word of God deceitfully”(see 1 Cor 4:2). He had taught things and done things he knew were wrong just because they would bring in more money. Notice that just before Apostle Paul wrote today’s Bible verse, he wrote that those whose work (as ministers among the Corinthians) will be found to be wanting will suffer loss on judgment day. He is now giving the real reason why this can happen. You see, it is a big deal to God for His children to suffer loss. But this can happen if these children are found to have destroyed His temple rather than build it. Those whose works will burn up on judgment day were not really builders, they are destroyers disguised as builders. When a minister gathers people and refuses to feed them with the sincere milk [and meat] of God’s word, but rather feeds them with adulterated and tainted milk, such a minister is a destroyer of God’s temple rather than a builder. That is why such will suffer loss on judgment day and only be saved as though through the fire. Go into today asking the Lord to help you build accurately so that you would receive a reward and not relegation. —SD Abraham AUDIO SERMONS☞ http://bit.ly/SERmons Bible in 1 Year: Luke 13-14 (in today’s audio) Streamglobe is interdenominational. Franca was facing a lot of attacks that made her weary and almost paranoid. She knew that the enemy of her soul was out to destroy her, but she did not seem to have enough strength to resist the assault against her soul. One day, as she was reading the Bible, she saw that she had marked 1 Cor 3:16, so she read it again and again. After reading it for about seven times, it dawned on her that no one could destroy her because she was the temple of the Lord. This was the word from the Lord that gave her victory over that battle. You see, God does not play with His temple that he dwells in. Anyone who attempts to destroy His temple will be inviting a battle from God Himself. No one can stand this. It is important for you to know who God has made you and know the things that have been freely given to you. This is one of the reasons the Holy Spirit was given to you. He facilitates this kind of knowledge (see 1 Corinthians 2:12). This Knowledge activates faith, and it is through faith that we take possession of what we have been given by the Lord. Go into today remembering that you are the temple of the living God. You are precious in God’s sight, and because of this, no one can destroy you (whether demon or man): No one can destroy your finances, your marriage, your career, your health, your business, your health, etc. Prayer: thank you Lord for making me your temple.
