Be Strong
Download Today’s Audio: bit.ly/aud1976 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 (NKJV) Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.Let all that you do be done with love. When Brian lost his job under very unfair circumstances, his lawyer and friends in the office told him to be strong as they waited for justice to serve its course. In due time, Brain’s overbearing boss who terminated his employment was fired from the company when the legal battle became an embarrassment to the company. Brian was reinstated with a huge settlement. In today’s Bible verse we are reminded to ‘be Strong’. This is not the first time in scripture we are told to be strong (see Ephesians 6:10). Why should we ‘be strong’ as believers? Because we are in warfare against the prince of this world and his kingdom. But the good news is that as long as we stand fast in the faith, we would always come out conquerors. The victory that overcomes the world is appropriated by our faith (1 John 5:14). Those who refuse to be strong are those who compromise their faith because of trials and temptations [orchestrated by the Prince of this world]. One of the surest signs of this is when believers begin to compromise with sin and refuse to repent but rationalize. Go into today remembering that as long as you stand strong and unwavering in the faith, you will overcome every single battle waged against you by the Prince of this world. “1 John 4:4 (KJV) Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” Prayer: Father, help me stand strong in the faith long enough to see my victory delivered, in Jesus name. Whatever You Call It

Veronica woke up to an unusual surprise. it was the cry of a baby just by her window. Oh, what a frail little being! Pitying the baby she took him to an orphanage and offered to assist with his upkeep. At the orphanage, she was asked what she wanted him to be called? ‘Greg’ she responded. Because she called him Greg, everybody called him Greg. One of the first proofs of Adam’s dominion was him giving names to other created beings. And whatever he called them became their names. Genesis 2:19 (KJV), ‘And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.’ This dominion was lost when man sinned. It was however restored in Christ Jesus. Because of Jesus, we now have the ability to name and rename situations. All authority has been given to us in Christ Jesus. We are not to be victims anymore, because we have the power to change situations. Proverbs 18:21 (KJV), ‘Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.’ Whatever you call it is what it will be to you. You may call it death or life, the choice is yours. Begin to speak life to every situation and you will see and have life. Do not settle for what the world throws at you. Pray this way: Father, thank you for restoring me to my place of dominion. I receive grace to walk in this consciousness in Jesus name. Profit From The Lord
Download Today’s Audio: bit.ly/aud1974 “`Plan to attend the upcoming Streamglobe Conference | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria“` Isaiah 48:17 (KJV) Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. After Jacob had worked for Laban for over 15years, it was clear that the blessing upon Jacobs life which also manifested in an excellent work ethic was responsible for Laban’s wealth. When it was time for Laban to pay Jacob off and settle him, Laban acted wickedly and did everything he could to leave Jacob a wretched man who would have to continue to work for him to get by. But Jacobs God was not asleep. The Lord showed Jacob a dream that ensured that Jacob made great profit and became very wealthy in spite of the wickedness of Laban(see Genesis 31:7-13). Among the many benefits of submitting to the Lord God, there is the benefit of Him teaching us to profit and not lose in all that we do. Some believers exclude God from departments of their lives because they believe God is only their God when they are doing ‘spiritual’ things. But those who acknowledge the Lord in all things see His hand in all things. Go into today remembering that profit from the Lord is not given to us merely for the sake of profit. God increases us to be more fruitful in His our kingdom assignment. Prayer: Ask the Lord to help you keep Jesus at the center of it all. Want to be saved? The Manifestation Of The Spirit
“`Plan to attend the upcoming Streamglobe Conference | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria“` 1 Corinthians 12:7 KJV But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. Greg visited a new Church and was surprised at the manifestation of the Spirit there. One of the many manifestations was him seeing almost everyone speak in tongues. He became particularly overwhelmed when the Pastor said everyone should pray in the Holy Ghost. How could one just begin to pray in tongues on his own? “This can’t be real, no, it can’t beâ€ was his conclusion! But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive and gave gifts unto men (Ephesians 4:7-8 KJV). See Psalms 68:18 as well. When Jesus Christ ascended, he received gifts for us. You see, these gifts are not needed in heaven, so, every gift he received were received for us. These gifts were not received only for Pastors or Church ministers, they were received for all believers. Today’s text emphatically stated that the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. Note that the phrase ‘every man’, means you are included. You really cannot make profit in the kingdom without the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, and the extent to which these gifts are daily manifested in your life determines how much profit you will make. Go into today desirous to receive of the Spirit of God and to permit His manifestation through you. Pray this way: Father, by the manifestation of your Spirit, I will make kingdom profit in Jesus name. Amen. want to be saved? Living By Him
“`Plan to attend the upcoming Streamglobe Conference | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria“` John 6:57 (NET) Just as the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so the one who consumes me will live because of me.Maggie was so sick that she started to despair of life. One day she was reading the book of John when she realized that if she truly lived because of Christ, she could not continue to be afflicted with diseases because there is no disease in Christ. She ensured that she eat the Holy Communion as soon as possible, and this time she ate it with the understanding that she was partaking in the body of Jesus and would now live because of Him. This was how Maggie received her healing. The life Jesus lived on the earth was the life of the father. He didn’t do anything in His name but all He did he did in the name of the Father. In the same way, we are to live by him and do all things in His name. That’s why we can cast out demons in His name, etc. Those who would live this divine life are those who after believing in Christ continue in His word and let it rule their lives. Jesus is the word of God. The way we feed our spirits with Him is by feeding our souls with the word of God and understanding it so that it can enrich our spirits. Those who are given to the ministry of the word and prayer are those who would walk in the divine nature. The way we feed our bodies with Christ is by partaking regularly in the Lord’s table or Holy Communion. This is one way we ensure that our bodies correspond to our new spiritual reality as children of God. Paul said the reason why certain believers in Corinth were sick and some died was because they were not partaking in the Lord’s body appropriately (see 1 Cor 11:29-30). Believers who partake in the Lord’s body (both spiritually and physically) enjoy divine health and healing. That is one of the divine realities the word and the Lord’s table brings. Go into today remembering that the divine life of God is the inheritance of believers who live by the word. Prayer: Father, help me to live by the word and manifest the divine life in this life. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you–and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.â€ The verse of scripture under consideration today is rendered in king James version this way “…Take heed what ye hear..â€. To ‘take heed’ means to pay special attention, ponder, vigorously contemplate on, or carefully consider. To ‘hear’ means to hearken, or give audience. In other words, carefully consider what you give audience. So friend, what do you hear? What do you do with the truth that you hear? The things you hear or listen to will greatly impact your life. What you hear can build up or cripple your faith. Faith is built when you hear the word of God. Doubt and unbelief is also built when you listen to negative faith inhibiting words. We are surrounded by bad news; from the moment you awaken till the time you go back to bed, most of the things you will hear especially from the media will be mostly negative. So how do we combat this surge and invasion of our minds by negative things? Can I suggest that in the midst of the negative reports, deliberately and consciously give your attention to the truth. The facts are enormous, and mostly negative; but the truth is that Jesus is still Lord. Turn your attention to God especially when the negative media is contending for it. Use the word of God as a yardstick to measure what you hear, discard the lies and cling to the truth. The measure of virtue and knowledge that comes back to you is dependent on the measure of thought and study you give to the truth you hear. Prayer: Ask that God will give you the grace to give attention to the truth of His word. Want to be born again? Click here ☞ streamglobe.org/33 -Otuokon, Ubokudom. Be Careful How You Hear 2
Download the Audio Here☞ http://bit.ly/audio1313 Galatians 2:17-18 (NKJV) But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ therefore a minister of sin? Certainly not!For if I build again those things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. (Continued from Yesterday) As the preacher sought the Lord to know how to address this issue of licentiousness among his members, it became clear to him that the problem was not with what he taught, but with what he left untaught. He observed that each time apostle Paul taught about justification by faith (and not by works) he would always say things that made it very clear that this does not in any way give people the license to sin (see Rom 6:1, Gal 5:13, Rom 6:15, Rom 3:31). As a matter of fact, Paul’s reaction to these issues appeared very harsh. He was the one who would command that an immoral believer be put out of the church and handed over to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved (1 Cor 5:5). He was the one who warned Christians that walking in the flesh produced spiritual death and corruption (see Rom 8:13, Gal 6:8). He warned the disciples against sin, using the example of the Israelites who were wasted in the wilderness because of their sins (see 1 Cor 10:1-12). He said things like ‘let him that thinks he stands take heed lest he falls’ (1 Cor 10:12). Pastor Boniface noticed that whenever it came to the matter of the danger of sin, unlike Apostle Paul, he glossed over it and trivialized it. Go into today remembering that Jesus came to save us from our sins (Matt 1:21). Grace gives us power over sin, not immunization for sin. Jesus blood washes away sin, it does not neutralize sin. Be Careful How You Hear
“`Plan to attend the upcoming Streamglobe Conference | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Date: July 19th-20th 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria“` Galatians 2:17-18 (NKJV) But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ therefore a minister of sin? Certainly not! For if I build again those things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. A Certain preacher started an apostolic work on a university campus. Many of his converts were excited to come to the Lord through his ministry. They were happy to be free from the burden of legalism and religion as they understood that they are justified by Christ and not by their own works. But as time passed, the preacher observed that many of his followers were now living like sinners and saying that ‘it does not matter’. It now appeared as if his ministry was giving certain Christians the license to walk in the flesh and feel secure. This was a big issue that brought great grief to his heart. Apostle Paul understood that when we seek to be justified by Christ (and not by works of the law), there could be the temptation to wantonly walk in the flesh because we are no more under any moral code. That was why he took his time to warn Christians against walking in the flesh (see Rom 8:13, Gal 6:8, Gal 5:24, 1 Cor 10:1-12). That was why he made statements like the one in today’s Bible text. The doctrine of justification by faith [through grace] may appear to make people comfortable in their sins, but that is when it is not properly and carefully taught or it is wrongly understood. Go into today knowing that if it appears that the gospel you are hearing seems to make you comfortable in sin, you are either not hearing it right or it is not rightly divided by the person teaching you. Prayer: Ask the Lord to give you an ear to hear right. -Pst. Abraham Damilola Arigi Not yet saved? Standing In His Promises 2
AUDIO version here☞ bit.ly/audio1311 Proverbs 28:1(KJV) The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion. Gbemi tried to convince himself that working in that abortion clinic didn’t matter, but his conscience would not let him be, and this was now telling on his fellowship with God and hindering him from walking in God’s promises. Finally, he decided to leave the Job. Gbemi was the only doctor in that clinic that could treat patients satisfactorily. The others seemed to have become only abortion experts. His boss knew this and didn’t want him to leave so he requested to see him. When Gbemi told his boss why he was resigning, his boss who was once a fervent evangelist felt condemned by Gbemi’s courage and conviction. For a long time, Gbemi’s boss had gone out of fellowship with the Lord because of his love of money. It was a slow fade. As a doctor turned politician, Gbemi’s boss had many political enemies and was now afflicted by demons. He could not even sleep at night without pills. Somehow, Gbemi’s action reminded him of how low he had fallen. He later broke down in tears of repentance and was restored. This process of restoration was initiated by the Lord through Gbemi’s action. Whenever our consciences bear the guilt of sin, we must do everything to drop that weight of condemnation because a guilty conscience hinders us from fellowship with God and takes away our boldness to walk in His promises. There is a level of spiritual boldness that only comes when we have whole consciences furnished with the consciousness of our righteousness in Christ. The righteous is as bold as a lion. Go into today remembering that there is nothing in this life as important as your fellowship with the Lord God. Ask the Lord to help you cast away every guilt and hindrance to this fellowship. Standing In His Promises
Download the Audio version ☞bit.ly/audio1309 Psalms 23:6 (KJV) Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. Gbemi observed that he was not walking in many of the promises of God. He saw that he was not walking in divine health and there were many other areas of his life where the promises of God were not yet a reality. When this came to his notice, he started wondering and asking why this was the case with him. It didn’t take him long to see that the reason was because he lived with a guilty conscience. He worked in a clinic that made most of its profit from performing illegal abortions. Today’s Bible verse begins with the word ‘surely’. If you read Psalm 91:33, you will see that word used again. It says ‘Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler…’ One reason Christians do not walk in the promises of God is because many are not sure that they are qualified for them. Instead of saying ‘surely’ many say ‘probably’, or ‘maybe’. They think about their imperfections and conclude that they cannot walk in the promises. But remember that God’s promises are Yeah and Amen in Christ Jesus and not in you (2 Cor 1:20). This means that the reason we can walk in God’s promises is because of Christ Jesus not because of us. It is by faith in Christ (not by faith in our own works) that we received God’s promise of salvation; it is by that same faith in Christ that we receive every other promise. Go into today remembering that you have the power to walk above anything causing a guilty conscience. -Pst. Abraham Damilola Arigi Not yet saved?
