[4] And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it. Most potters feel they intimately exude the creative nature of God by their pottery work and this feeling gets amplified as they feel the earthy grains while transforming them into a masterpiece. The potter’s wheel is where the potter’s will for the clay gets implemented, by it rotating to 1) Get the clay perfectly shaped. 2) Trim excess body from the worked clay. 3) Apply incised and intricate decorations or rings of color to beautify the clay. Very important from our scriptural reference is the fact that God is the Potter and before we can as clay to be used or made into a valuable vessel by Him, we must first accept that we have been irredeemably “marred” by sin and therefore cannot fix ourselves unless we are made new. Knowing and accepting this truth about our helpless state in sin and God’s great act of love to pick us up from its decay is the first step to our being molded into a masterpiece (Read Eph 2:1-10). The Word of God is the Potter’s wheel which He used in creating everything (Heb 11:3) and it is His Will that we continuously go through cycles of brokenness alongside newer levels of obedience till we are perfectly shaped (Isa 66:2, Rom 12:2), trimmed, purged or cleansed to be more fruitful . Submit today to the Wheel of God’s Word and be guaranteed that His hand will always be upon you even now and until eternity for your good (Ps 16:9-11). -Chibo E.C. Before Diego received Christ as his Lord and Savior, he was a very morally upright person. He was known everywhere to be a person of great integrity. He was more morally upright than many Christians he knew, so he didn’t think he needed their salvation to make him righteous. But in his heart he longed for God and knew he was not right with God. He desired to be close to God, but he knew he was not. When he received Christ as [his] Lord and Savior, it became clear to him that he was made righteous because of his faith in the Lord Jesus. Without this faith, no matter how morally upright he was, he could not please God. It is good to be morally upright, and faith in Christ produces a life that is morally upright. Daniel was highly esteemed in heaven (Dan 10:11); he lived a life guided by the fear of the Lord. Cornelius attracted the attention of heaven because of this same reason (Acts 10:1-4). But morality is not what saves a person. Faith in Christ is what saves a person. But we know that true faith in Christ produces a life that is morally upright. Because we are not of this world, Satan the prince of this world would fight us and try to overthrow us. But he can only succeed if we let our faith falter by constantly doing things that violate our consciences, or suffocate our faith by being unequally yoked together with unbelievers (see 1 Tim 1:19, 2 Cor 6:14). Go into today remembering that every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith (1 John 5:4-NLT). -SD Abraham Get AUDIO SERMONS here☞ http://bit.ly/SERmons Yearly Bible Reading: Psalms 18-20 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is Interdenominational & Nondenominational. She was with us many times we talked about the things we desired but were scared to ask our parents for. However, in shock amazement, we would discover that our father has heard and has gone on to get us those things we desired, but would afterwards scold us for not coming directly to him with our requests. Looking back now, I have come to understand that though we all children, it was only our little sister that really knew how to approach, ask and receive from our parents because being in their presence more often made her bold, which in turn gave her access to whatever she wanted. Many feel that God is partial and that He has blessed some more than others. This couldn’t be more far from the truth. In reality, we all have been granted access to the Most High and so what we are now able to obtain largely depends on our attitude. You see, of those who access and receive eternal benefits from the Most Holy Place (Ps 16:11), the Bible didn’t say that they will “occasionally visit” this secret place but it says “Whoever dwells in the secret place of the Most High” (Ps 91:1), meaning that they permanently reside there. Go into today knowing that in Christ, you have access to all that pertains your well being as you continue to seek and dwell in His Word (2 Pet 1:3). -Chibo E.C. MINISTERS OF LIFE

Click Here to join ☞ https://chat.whatsapp.com/7E3RLKaHfOfETvJspgPrah Audio Version☞ http://bit.ly/aud1551 2 Corinthians 3:6 KJV Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. At exactly when a hardened criminal was to be executed by lethal injection for murder, a nurse was helping to deliver a mother of her baby. While the criminal’s last moments were that of shame, fear, and regret, that of the new mum and her baby were of joy, freedom, and relief. These two scenarios are paradoxical. The former adheres to the strict penalty of the law while the latter displays a gentle care to help preserve life. God’s Word ministers life to those who believe but carries a sentence on those who rebel or try to approach Him by following rules. When God’s Word, then written in stone tablets, was first given, about three thousand persons died in judgment that day (Exo 32:19-28). But on the day of Pentecost with God’s Word now written in the hearts of men, about three thousand persons were saved instead (Acts 2:36-41). The reason for the latter outcome was the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to make the apostles ministers of life. Since based on our new birth in Christ through the Holy Spirit, we are now ministers of life, we would be ruining or issuing death letters instead of life to others if they only hear but see no tangible evidence in our lives or demonstrable proofs of the life we claim to have in Christ (Mtt 5:16, 1Cor 2:1-4; 1Cor 4:18-20) Go into today as a minister of life to others by first receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit and yielding yourself totally to His leading (Lk 24:49).-Chibo E.C. James and John grew up as friends. James was sly while John was shy and never really spoke much. Each time they got into trouble, it was John who always got punished as James would quickly put the blame on him. Finally, a day came when James got into some serious trouble with the law and as usual, he tried to blame it on John when the police arrived, but this time, something inside of John made him speak out boldly in objection so as to counter and denounce the false accusation made against him by James. Soon, John was freed based on the truthfulness of his statement and that of another fellow who had witnessed the incident and he has since learned a valuable lesson that spoken words are sacrosanct. We have an enemy whose accusations on our lives have real and disastrous consequences and so it is pertinent that we respond to him if we must survive or overcome (Prov 18:21, Isa 54:17, Mk 11:23). When we declare God’s words using “It is written” in our response to Satan’s accusations in form of diseases, lack, disappointments, etc., Jesus who Himself is the presiding Judge, our Lawyer as well as our Evidence (slain Lamb), takes to the witness stand on our behalf in heaven’s courtroom and He by our faithful resolve in confessions, speaks to give us an acquitting verdict (Rev 5: 6-9, Heb 7:25, Rom 8:33-34, Heb 12:22-24). Know today that, “The state of a man’s life is a sum total of the consequences of what he or someone else has been speaking”. Speak, therefore and be acquitted, for the Judge, the Lawyer, the Witness and the Evidence are all in your favor. -Chibo E.C. I once had an interaction with a young man, and I noticed that he knew the things of the Lord and seemed to have some spiritual understanding. I wondered why he was living like an unbeliever. I asked him and he replied and said to me ‘I trusted God once but He failed me’. It was clear he was now living a life that was rebellious to God’s authority. I started praying for him since then. He was a casualty of spiritual warfare. Spiritual warfare is really about the faith of the believer. It is not about any other mundane thing that may look like the focus of the attack. The devil is not threatened by the amount of money or anything else you can have, but he is threatened by your faith. It is most precious (1 Pet 1:7). When Satan attacked Job’s family, wealth, health, etc. The aim was to get Job to stop trusting in God, and as a result, get him to rebel against God’s authority- curse God and die (Job 2:9). But kept the faith. He said ‘though He slays me, yet I will trust in Him’ (Job 13:15). And at the end, Job overcame. Why does the devil seek to attack believers with setbacks? It is because he wants to get them to the point where they no longer trust in God, and as a result, they rebel against God’s authority. This rebellion manifests in compromises and sins, etc. The way to always overcome is to keep your shield of faith up. That means no matter what, you insist on believing in God and confessing His word concerning your life and situation. As long as the shield of faith is up, the enemy can never overcome you (Eph 6:16). Go into today remembering that every spiritual battle is about your faith first. Keep your faith intact and you will always overcome.-Pastor SD Abraham Not yet saved? During the season Ameh was going through a trial of faith, there was a particular period that his faith was really low. During this period he observed that he even started doubting the existence of God, despite all the remarkable acts of God he had experienced in the past. He couldn’t understand this, but all he could do was to continue to pray and dwell on God’s word. Each time he prayed in the spirit, he observed that his faith was boosted a little. He started investigating what was wrong: ‘why this strange drought of faith? ‘ He later found out that it was because, at that time, he allowed a guilty conscience linger. There was something he did that made him feel guilty, and he felt this guilt for a long time without addressing it appropriately. One of the greatest forces against our faith is a guilty conscience. With a guilty conscience, our spirits cannot fellowship with God, and this fellowship is the source of our strength. Those who allow their consciences to be violated for long risk having a shipwreck of faith (see 1 Tim 1:19). One of the major signs that your faith is sinking is that you will begin to doubt the willingness and ability of God to help you. This ultimately leads to doubting the existence of God. Go into today knowing that you are to avoid anything that leads to the constant violating of your conscience. Prayer: ask the Lord to help you always maintain a clear conscience before God and before men (see Acts 24:16) -Pastor SD Abraham Not yet saved? Ameh realized that he was in a season in his life where his faith was under terrible attack. There were certain things that went wrong in his life, and these things started going wrong the moment he decided to seek the Lord on a new higher level. Things he normally would pray about before and receive answers, during this season of his life he prayed and didn’t get any answers. Yet this was the season he was praying and seeking the Lord more than ever before. His faith was under attack and the devil was manipulating him to make foolish decisions that would ultimately bring him to the point of having a shipwreck of his faith. He knew it was warfare, and that if he kept being steadfast, he was going to be the overcomer and reap his harvest of multiplied grace. The Devil is greatly threatened when believers begin to seek the Lord and multiply grace because a believer that walks in this realm is a serious threat to his kingdom Most of the spiritual warfare we face as believers are assaults against our faith. They are aimed at getting us to the point where we no longer believe in God the way we used to. But the devil’s ultimate weapon against the believer is sin. This is because when a believer walks with a defiled conscience for long, his faith is systematically drained, and this can ultimately lead to the shipwreck of faith (1 Tim 1:19). Go into today remembering that you are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus. Insist on believing in God no matter what has happened in your life. Ebuka’s parents were too busy quarreling and fighting that they never really cared much for him. When they divorced, each one wanted custody of him just as an extra way to spite the other. His mother won the legal battle and got custody, but she soon had to dump him in boarding school because the man whom she wanted to remarry did not want him. She literally abandoned him there and no one paid his fees. His father was too busy womanizing and clubbing to care. Ebuka grew up feeling unwanted. But he did very well in school and got scholarships that helped him finish. He later became a very successful doctor. Many years had passed and his parents were now old and poor. None of them had any other children and they now needed care in different ways. Ebuka was now a believer in Christ and because of this, he forgave his parents. The reason he forgave, honored and took care of them was because he feared the Lord and obeyed His word (Eph 6:1.). This is what it means to have faith in God. I used to wonder that how can one come to God without first believing that He exists? I now realize that many people can say that they believe in God, but it is their actions that will prove if they truly believe in God. Faith without works is dead. Go into today remembering that no one comes to God except through [faith in] the Lord Jesus (see John 14:6). Anyone who truly comes to God will love and obey Him. The faith that counts before God is one that produces obedience to Him (Heb 11:8). -Pastor SD Abraham Get AUDIO SERMONS here☞ http://bit.ly/SERmons Yearly Bible Reading: Psalms 15-17 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is Interdenominational & Nondenominational. I was praying in the Spirit one night when I saw that someone close to me was going to be afflicted with sickness. I prayed about it and rebuked the spirit of infirmity that sought to afflict this person. The next couple of days, I found out that this person was slightly sick but recovered and was back to sound health. I wondered how serious the sickness would have been if I wasn’t praying that night and saw what I saw and rebuked the spirit I sensed. We can see from today’s Bible verse that one way we keep alert and watch is by praying. When Jesus told us to watch, notice that it also involved praying. He said watch and pray (see Matt 26:41, Luke 26:36). You will also see in Ephesians 6:18 that watching and praying go together. You cannot be an effective watchman if you are not a man of prayer. Some of you reading this Devotional today have been appointed by God to be watchmen over your family members. You have the authority from God to prevent evil from getting to them. Many of them may not know the Lord the way you know the Lord, but because of you, evil will not come near them, and many of them will eventually come to know the Lord. But you will not be able to watch and be alert if you are not a man of prayer. Go into today thanking the Lord for the privilege to be responsible in His kingdom. Ask for the grace to be faithful in watching and praying. -Pastor SD Abraham Get AUDIO SERMONS here☞ http://bit.ly/SERmons Yearly Bible Reading: Judges 1-6 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is Interdenominational & Nondenominational.
