Download Audio Version☞ http://bit.ly/aud1560 Ephesians 5:3 (KJV) 3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; What would you do if you paid some money into a contractor’s account for a building project and instead he uses the money to set up a plantain plantation? Certainly, you won’t be all smiles, and neither will you be giving him a bear hug, simply because the money was never his to spend as he wishes. In the same vein, your body is not your own, you have been bought with a price (1 Cor 6:18, 19). Your body belongs to God and He has said that it is not for fornication (1 Cor 6:13) and that fornication should not be once named among us saints. In Galatians 5:19-21, Ephesians 5:3-5 and Col 3:3-5, the Bible warns believers not to give themselves to fornication/sexual sins, warning that those who give themselves to and practice these things have no inheritance in the Kingdom of God. The scripture instructs the believer on how to walk in victory over these. Gal 5:16 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. To walk in the Spirit is to walk in the fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22-25), so walk in love and not in lust. Also, guard your heart. Prov 4:23 23 Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. a. Guard it by the word of God (Psalm 119:9 Rom 12:2) Give yourself to the word and allow it renew your mind. b. Guard it by cutting off wrong influences (1 Cor 5:9-11; Matt 5:27-30, 1 Cor 15;33) It is a scriptural prescription that we keep no company with a believer who is given to fornication (see 1 Cor 5:11). Go into today knowing that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and that is not for fornication, but rather for serving God. -Ikechukwu Mpama Get AUDIO SERMONS here☞ http://bit.ly/SERmons Yearly Bible Reading: Judges 12-16 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is Interdenominational & Nondenominational. [8] For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; In the Bible account of the exploits of Daniel (Daniel 2:10-49), we see that as a child of God, Daniel already possessed wisdom ten times better than all the king’s magicians (Dan 1:17-20) and was already operating in wisdom towards the king and his guards (Dan 2:14-16) when suddenly, a problem came that required a special kind of wisdom. He and his companions sought God earnestly for its manifestation (Dan 2:17-23). Many believers feel that being baptized in the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues is all that there is to the Power and Wisdom of God. In salvation we obtained an innate wisdom to solve life’s problems (Prv 9:10, 1Cor1:30 ), but there are special problems that would require a unique and special manifestation of God’s wisdom for their solution and is for this kind of wisdom we deliberately desire, prepare and ask God for in prayer (Acts 19:8-12, Mk 9:20-29, 1Cor 14:1). Even the disciples, after Pentecost, prayed for this special display of wisdom (Acts 4:24-31). Since the Gospel remains unchanged, it is therefore scriptural and inseparable to our great commission that we desire wisdom to miraculously solve special problems, so that we might win over the unsaved just like the disciples did (Mk 6:2, Mk 16:15-18). Today, decide not to be complacent but instead desire, pray for, and live a godly life conducive for the Holy Spirit to manifest His wisdom and power through. -Chibo E.C. Not yet saved? In sexual sin we violate the sacredness of our own bodies, these bodies that were made for God-given and God-modeled love, for “becoming one” with another. The sense in which sexual sins are different from others is that it violates the sacredness of your body. It is about the believer’s body, it is about your body being the temple of the Holy Spirit. It is the crux of the matter; your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. 1 Cor 6:19 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? God doesn’t dwell in temples made with hands (Acts 7:7:48), he now indwells the believer through the person of the Holy Spirit (John 14:16, 17; 1 John 4:4). You have been bought with a price, that price is the life/blood of Jesus. The Old Testament law was strict and stringent on the honoring/defilement of the tabernacle/temple and transgression then could be met with death. The sin/act of fornication is a spiritual mystery that transcends just the physical, a joining of sorts occurs when you engage in sexual intercourse (1 Cor 6:16 MSG). When you engage in sexual intercourse outside the provisions of God; WHICH IS MARRIAGE, you violate his command, circumvent his wisdom and defile His temple. When you take your body and join it with another, you are taking that which belongs to God and using it unlawfully; you are abusing the temple of the Holy Spirit. Go into today knowing that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and that keeping it undefiled is the will of God. -Ikechukwu Mpama Not yet saved? The text above clearly refutes that erroneous and false teaching. Have you noticed that even though we are asked to resist the devil (James 4:7), and to take our stand against principalities and powers (Eph 6:12-18), we are asked to flee fornication/sexual sins? It should interest you to know that when we resist the devil he flees away from us, but we are the ones charged to flee from this work of the flesh. But what exactly is fornication you might ask. The word fornication is translated in the New Testament mostly from the Greek word porneia. It refers to illicit sexual intercourse, such as adultery, sexual intercourse between two unmarried people, homosexuality, lesbianism, and intercourse with animals. Some Bible versions simply call it sexual immorality. What’s more, the New Testament is replete with warnings/instructions concerning this. Here are some of them: Acts 15:20 & 29 says to abstain from fornication, 1 Corinthians 5:9 says to keep no company with a fornicator, 1 Corinthians 6:18 says to flee fornication, 1 Corinthians 10:8 says to ‘neither let us commit adultery’, Ephesians 5:3 says let it not once be named among us believers, Colossians 3:5 (TLB) says to have nothing to do with sexual sins, 1 Thessalonians 4:3 charges us to abstain from fornication, and 2 Timothy 2:22 says to flee youthful lusts. Go into today armed with the understanding that it is God’s will for you to abstain from sexual sins. -Ikechukwu Mpama Not yet saved? One way Bimpe knew she was falling spiritually was that she could no longer pray the way she always prayed. She also observed that she no longer had the strength to do the spiritual things she used to do before. She used to be very committed to evangelism and follow up. There were certain young girls she used to actively pray for and follow up, but she found that she now considered all these an unbearable burden. Added to this, something happened that showed her how spiritually impoverished she had become. She was confronted by a colleague who was involved in the occult, and she found that she was deeply afraid of his threats because there was no more power in her spirit. This was unthinkable when she was still in the country. Such people feared her and some of them became her converts. Bimpe also observed that new temptations and lusts started becoming stronger and stronger in her heart. This was when she knew she had to take decisive action. She left that new church and took out some time to seek the Lord in prayer and fasting. She made up her mind that the demonic powers and rulers in the city would not reduce her to a loaf of bread. She went back to her old sermon notes and revised her understanding of the kingdom of God the way she once and for all received it. This was how she was saved from the corruption of that city that had reduced many believers to spiritually powerless noisemakers. Go into today asking the Lord to deliver you from everything that seeks to reduce you and render you fruitless in your pursuit of the knowledge of God (see 2 Pet 1:8). -SD Abraham Not yet saved? Before she got to the city, she had received Christ as her Lord and Savior and was growing and having a very fruitful walk with the Lord. But as she started attending this new church, she realized that what they were teaching was different from what she had always known about Christ and His kingdom. It sounded really exciting and comforting to the flesh, but she was not comfortable because these teachings were contrary to the ones that got her saved and established in Christ. After experiencing serious leanness in her soul because she started following these doctrines, it was clear to her that she was now following the wrong teachers. Colossians 2:8 (KJV) says: Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. This is becoming increasingly popular today. Many people have been deceived by doctrines based on human philosophy and tradition. Their understanding of God’s kingdom has been shaped by human tradition. They forget that God’s ways are not man’s ways (Isaiah 55:8). For example, what good father would allow his only son to suffer and die the way Jesus did? Using human logic and tradition, it would be difficult to believe in the divinity and sacrifice of Jesus. Those who try to use human logic and traditions to understand the kingdom of God will end up in very serious errors. Go into today remembering that you are to continue in Christ the way you received him. Avoid new ‘highly logical’ doctrines that contradict the foundational teachings that established you in the faith. -SD Abraham Get AUDIO SERMONS here☞ http://bit.ly/SERmons Yearly Bible Reading: Isaiah 34-39 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is Interdenominational & Nondenominational. THE POTTER’S WHEEL

[4] And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it. Most potters feel they intimately exude the creative nature of God by their pottery work and this feeling gets amplified as they feel the earthy grains while transforming them into a masterpiece. The potter’s wheel is where the potter’s will for the clay gets implemented, by it rotating to 1) Get the clay perfectly shaped. 2) Trim excess body from the worked clay. 3) Apply incised and intricate decorations or rings of color to beautify the clay. Very important from our scriptural reference is the fact that God is the Potter and before we can as clay to be used or made into a valuable vessel by Him, we must first accept that we have been irredeemably “marred” by sin and therefore cannot fix ourselves unless we are made new. Knowing and accepting this truth about our helpless state in sin and God’s great act of love to pick us up from its decay is the first step to our being molded into a masterpiece (Read Eph 2:1-10). The Word of God is the Potter’s wheel which He used in creating everything (Heb 11:3) and it is His Will that we continuously go through cycles of brokenness alongside newer levels of obedience till we are perfectly shaped (Isa 66:2, Rom 12:2), trimmed, purged or cleansed to be more fruitful . Submit today to the Wheel of God’s Word and be guaranteed that His hand will always be upon you even now and until eternity for your good (Ps 16:9-11). -Chibo E.C. THE FIGHT OF FAITH 4

Before Diego received Christ as his Lord and Savior, he was a very morally upright person. He was known everywhere to be a person of great integrity. He was more morally upright than many Christians he knew, so he didn’t think he needed their salvation to make him righteous. But in his heart he longed for God and knew he was not right with God. He desired to be close to God, but he knew he was not. When he received Christ as [his] Lord and Savior, it became clear to him that he was made righteous because of his faith in the Lord Jesus. Without this faith, no matter how morally upright he was, he could not please God. It is good to be morally upright, and faith in Christ produces a life that is morally upright. Daniel was highly esteemed in heaven (Dan 10:11); he lived a life guided by the fear of the Lord. Cornelius attracted the attention of heaven because of this same reason (Acts 10:1-4). But morality is not what saves a person. Faith in Christ is what saves a person. But we know that true faith in Christ produces a life that is morally upright. Because we are not of this world, Satan the prince of this world would fight us and try to overthrow us. But he can only succeed if we let our faith falter by constantly doing things that violate our consciences, or suffocate our faith by being unequally yoked together with unbelievers (see 1 Tim 1:19, 2 Cor 6:14). Go into today remembering that every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith (1 John 5:4-NLT). -SD Abraham Get AUDIO SERMONS here☞ http://bit.ly/SERmons Yearly Bible Reading: Psalms 18-20 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is Interdenominational & Nondenominational. She was with us many times we talked about the things we desired but were scared to ask our parents for. However, in shock amazement, we would discover that our father has heard and has gone on to get us those things we desired, but would afterwards scold us for not coming directly to him with our requests. Looking back now, I have come to understand that though we all children, it was only our little sister that really knew how to approach, ask and receive from our parents because being in their presence more often made her bold, which in turn gave her access to whatever she wanted. Many feel that God is partial and that He has blessed some more than others. This couldn’t be more far from the truth. In reality, we all have been granted access to the Most High and so what we are now able to obtain largely depends on our attitude. You see, of those who access and receive eternal benefits from the Most Holy Place (Ps 16:11), the Bible didn’t say that they will “occasionally visit” this secret place but it says “Whoever dwells in the secret place of the Most High” (Ps 91:1), meaning that they permanently reside there. Go into today knowing that in Christ, you have access to all that pertains your well being as you continue to seek and dwell in His Word (2 Pet 1:3). -Chibo E.C. MINISTERS OF LIFE

At exactly when a hardened criminal was to be executed by lethal injection for murder, a nurse was helping to deliver a mother of her baby. While the criminal’s last moments were that of shame, fear, and regret, that of the new mum and her baby were of joy, freedom, and relief. These two scenarios are paradoxical. The former adheres to the strict penalty of the law while the latter displays a gentle care to help preserve life. God’s Word ministers life to those who believe but carries a sentence on those who rebel or try to approach Him by following rules. When God’s Word, then written in stone tablets, was first given, about three thousand persons died in judgment that day (Exo 32:19-28). But on the day of Pentecost with God’s Word now written in the hearts of men, about three thousand persons were saved instead (Acts 2:36-41). The reason for the latter outcome was the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to make the apostles ministers of life. Since based on our new birth in Christ through the Holy Spirit, we are now ministers of life, we would be ruining or issuing death letters instead of life to others if they only hear but see no tangible evidence in our lives or demonstrable proofs of the life we claim to have in Christ (Mtt 5:16, 1Cor 2:1-4; 1Cor 4:18-20) Go into today as a minister of life to others by first receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit and yielding yourself totally to His leading (Lk 24:49).-Chibo E.C.
