Stacy realized that she wasn’t growing spiritually, and this became a cause of great concern for her. She knew this before she saw that many of the things that God said would happen in the life of a believer were not yet happening in her life. As she started searching to find where the problem was, the Holy Spirit helped her to see that she could not grow to the fullness of Christ on her own without the input of other brethren. She was a spiritual lone ranger. She never read any spiritual books or listened to any sermons nor did she submit herself to be discipled by anyone. She attended a church where she was anonymous. Every baby has the potential of becoming an adult. But the child has to grow up first. When you became born again, you were born after the nature of Christ. But this will only be actualized when you are spiritually mature. Spiritual maturity makes us more and more like Christ, both in character and in stature (authority). Physically, there are many things required in order for a newborn baby to grow and become an adult; the baby needs to be cared for by other adults. That’s how spiritually; believers need to be cared for by other mature believers. And there are those specially equipped by the Lord to do this. They are Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and teachers. Ephesians 4:11-13 (NET) It was he who gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, that is, to build up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God – A MATURE PERSON, attaining to the measure of CHRIST’S FULL STATURE. -Pastor SD Abraham Yearly Bible Reading: Psalms 143-145 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is interdenominational  We request that you Kindly Share This Devotional with Your Contacts and Let’s Touch Lives Together. When Stacy received Christ as her Lord and Savior, it was a very spectacular encounter. She used to be deeply involved in the occult and was a ranking member of a powerful cult. She had an encounter with the Lord Jesus one day she tried to cast a spell to kill a pastor. This was how she came to know the Lord. Unlike many other new believers, she had great understanding of spiritual things and she understood that her spirit was now literally born again. She was so excited about what happened to her because she knew that it required very great spiritual power to cause this miracle of spiritual new birth. All the powers of the princes of the kingdom of darkness put together would not be sufficient to produce this kind of spiritual reality in one single soul. It didn’t take her long to realize that even though she was a new man in her spirit, this new man had to be taught and trained in order for it to reach its full potential and destiny – the image of Christ. Even Jesus had to grow in favor with God (Luke 2:52). He had to learn obedience even though He was God’s son (see Heb 5:8). There is always a learning process for those who will reach spiritual maturity. Go into today knowing that your new inner man has to be trained in knowledge according to the image of Christ. You have to learn obedience as a son of God and grow in the knowledge of God. This learning comes when you engage the word of God. Ask God to renew you and make you more like Christ daily. -Pastor SD Abraham Yearly Bible Reading: Nehemiah 10-13 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is interdenominational  We request that you Kindly Share This Devotional with Your Contacts and Let’s Touch Lives Together. God does not want His children to be controlled by the love of money. This is only possible when we are contented with what we have. Being contented with what you have is different from being satisfied with where you are and becoming complacent. A contented person is a thankful person. He is grateful for where he is and is thankful for where the Lord is taking him. An uncontended person is an ungrateful person. He compares himself with others and is easily deceived by the deceitfulness of riches. The ‘deceitfulness of riches’ says that all a person needs in this life is money. That is not true. You need much more than just money in this life. Ask those with lots of money who are still dying of incurable diseases. Jesus says in Luke 12:23 (NET) that there is more to life than food, and more to the body than clothing. This means there is more to life than what money can afford. It is because of the mindset controlled by the deceitfulness of riches that the rich fool in Luke 12:13-21 lost his life. In Mark 4:19, we see that those who subscribe to the deceitfulness of riches cannot be fruitful in God’s Kingdom. Such people cannot serve God because they serve mammon. Wheras, those who serve God will not lack anything. Many go to church, not because they love God, but because they love money and want God to give them money. Such ‘Christians’ will not have power with God (they cannot be rich toward God) and will always be at the mercy of time and chance. Go into today remembering to watch against covetousness and the love of money. Thank the Lord for where you are and where He is taking you. -Pastor SD Abraham Yearly Bible Reading: Deuteronomy 26-28 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is interdenominational  We request that you Kindly Share This Devotional with Your Contacts and Let’s Touch Lives Together. REPENTANCE AND THE CONSCIENCE

Her father had warned her several times not to take his car out without his permission. She took it out one day without permission and it ran out of gas while she was driving it. She refueled it, but the engine started malfunctioning after that. She didn’t tell her dad what happened, but she started acting really weird around him and couldn’t even look him in the face anymore because of her guilt. He had to spend a lot of money on fixing the car. When she was tired of the strain in their relationship caused by her guilty conscience, she decided to come out clean and confess what she had done. She didn’t know that her dad already knew and had already forgiven her. He was only waiting for her to come out clean. We saw yesterday that a bad conscience hinders faith from entering the heart of anybody. That is why before faith towards God is mentioned among the principles of the doctrine of Christ (in Hebrews 6:1-2), repentance from dead works is mentioned. When a person hears the Gospel and believes it, the first response is repentance from dead (sinful) works, usually followed by water baptism-the baptism of repentance (Acts 2:38). This takes away the guilty conscience (see 1 Pet 3:21), and then faith producing salvation (practical deliverance from sins and the powers of Satan) can now enter the heart of the believer. Notice that in 1Pet 3:21, the baptism of repentance is directly linked to the good conscience of the believer towards God. Go into today remembering that the most potent way to deal with lingering guilty conscience is to come out clean before the Lord (1 John 1:9) or before a member of His body who represents Him (James 5:16, Matt 18:15-18, John 20:23). -Pastor SD Abraham Yearly Bible Reading: II John (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is interdenominational  We request that you Kindly Share This Devotional with Your Contacts and Let’s Touch Lives Together. Dare was walking with a defiled conscience because of a sin he refused to repent of. He needed divine healing and wanted to receive it by faith. He tried to apply all the principles of hearing the word to build faith in His spirit, but faith was not coming because he was walking in a defiled conscience. In 1 Tim 1:19, we see that faith and a good conscience always work together. Faith does not build up in the heart of a person who contineus in a defiled conscience. That is the reason why in James 5:16, in order for the believer to recieve his divine healing, he needs to confess his faults. This deals with his defield conceince. From today’s Bible verse, we see that in order to receive the manifestation of the divine nature through God’s promises, we have to have first escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. This is possible by the power of God’s grace. And this power is supplied by the indwelling Holy Spirit. As you go into today, ask the Lord to help you get rid of anything in your life that causes defilement of conscience, so that your faith can grow and you can walk in all the promises that usher in various manifestations of the divine nature. -Pastor SD Abraham Yearly Bible Reading: Acts 21-22 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is interdenominational  We request that you Kindly Share This Devotional with Your Contacts and Let’s Touch Lives Together. Daniel did not only receive divine healing, but as a result of the revelation he got before he became healed, he didn’t fall sick again. This was a manifestation of the divine nature at work in Him that we can call Divine Health. But how did he begin to walk in this divine nature? It was by virtue of God’s promises. During the period he was sick and studying the word of God concerning divine healing and health, he read certain promises concerning healing and health and they became Rhema to him. He knew he was now healed because heard and heard those promises until he received them by faith. We see from today’s Bible verse that it is through God’s magnificent promises that we walk in His divine nature. One reason why it is very important for believers to know the scriptures is because they contain God’s promises, and it is through these promises that faith comes to manifest attributes of the divine nature that the promises reveal. It is possible to be a believer and not walk in certain manifestations of the divine nature because you do not know (or have not recieved) the promises of God that activate those manifestations. That is why God’s people can suffer for lack of knowledge (see Hosea 4:6, Job 36:12, Proverbs 5:23, Proverbs 10:21 in ESV). Go into today remembering that God’s promises are the keys that open up different manifestation of the divine nature to you. Prayer: Ask the Lord to help you know and stand on All His promises. -Pastor SD Abraham Yearly Bible Reading: Revelation 1-6 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is interdenominational  We request that you Kindly Share This Devotional with Your Contacts and Let’s Touch Lives Together. By his wounds you were healed. As a medical student, Daniel had seen a few people receive divine healing by faith. When he now had an incurable medical condition, he knew that the Lord could heal him. He started trusting in the Lord for his healing. He started giving special heed to the word of God and reading books that would build his faith in that area. After doing this for months, a time came that he just knew without a doubt that he was now healed. He went for medical tests and the tests showed that the disease was still there. But his faith did not waver even as he had to continue his treatment. Two weeks later, when praying in the spirit, he was reminded by the Holy Ghost that he was indeed healed. He went for the tests again, and this time the disease was completely gone. Everyone in the lab couldn’t believe it. If you are in Christ Jesus, your divine healing has already been paid for on the cross. Your healing is already available, but you have to receive it by faith. Before you became born again, you had to receive the salvation that Jesus paid for by faith. Someone told you about it and you believed it. And because you believed it, you received it. That is the same way we receive divine healing. We hear that we are healed and we believe it. Then we receive it. Some people only have faith to receive salvation from sin (which is the most important work that Christ did on the cross). But any faith that can receive salvation from sin can anything else. Go into today knowing that Christ Jesus paid for all you need on the cross (2 Pet 1:3). Your salvation from sin and death, your healing, your prosperity, your sanctification, your wisdom, your peace and joy, etc.. -Pastor SD Abraham AUDIO SERMONS HERE: http://bit.ly/SERmons Yearly Bible Reading: Song of Solomon 1-2 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is interdenominational  Kindly Share This Devotional with Your Contacts and Let’s Touch Lives Together. SET YOUR MIND ON THINGS ABOVE

Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Tracy was living in Rwanda as an aid worker from the United States. Because she came from America and her family was still in America, her heart was more set on the things going on in America than the things going on in Rwanda. Even though she was very aware of what was going on in Rwanda, It was very clear that her heart was still at home. For example, she watched more American news than Rwandan news. She did her productive work in Rwanda but her heart was set at home. She was simply a pilgrim and ambassador in Rwanda and she knew it. Before we were raised with Christ, we were first dead in our sins. It is because of our sins that Jesus had to die, and in Him we all died. We were also buried with Him through [water] baptism (Col 2:12a, Rom 6:5). Through faith in the power of God, we are raised with Christ and now live the life of Christ (Col 2:12b). The perfection of our resurrection will be revealed when we are physically raised with our glorious bodies (see Col 3:3). If indeed we live the life of Christ who is in heaven, we must think His thoughts. We must set our hearts on things above and not on earthly things. This does not mean we will not live productive lives here on earth. It means we are pilgrims and strangers on this earth, and we live here with that mindset, while being productive and diligent in serving the Lord through our various ministries: jobs, businesses, occupations, etc. Go into today remembering that your citizenship is in heaven. You are not of this world. You’ve been empowered to shine and not to blend. -Pastor SD Abraham GET AUDIO SERMONS HERE: http://bit.ly/SERmons Yearly Bible Reading: Malachi (In Devotional Audio) Kindly Share this Nondenominational Devotional and Let’s Touch Lives Together. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Biola was a very intelligent and hard working person. But the people she started partnering with were in the occult and were very wise in the things of the world. When it became clear to Biola that her new business partners were not sincere at all, and at some point they were even making enchantments to attack her, she had to cry to the Lord for help. Her understanding had failed her and she was now willing to trust in the Lord. The first mistake she made was that in her business, she made herself unequally yoked together with unbelievers. She made the mistake of entering an equal level business partnership with unbelievers. At the beginning, the business deal looked very good and lucrative, so she entered it despite the check she had in her spirit. She entered the business partnership and leaned on her understanding rather than trusting in the Lord and obeying His word. When you trust in the Lord and lean on Him rather than leaning on your own understanding, it means you will obey His word and live according to it. His instruction may look like it is not the smartest thing to do in your current situation, but when you do not lean on your own understanding, you will obey His word rather than acting according to your own understanding. This is how to trust in the Lord with all your heart. Go into today asking the Lord to empower you trust in Him with all your heart. -Pastor SD Abraham GET AUDIO SERMONS HERE: http://bit.ly/SERmons Yearly Bible Reading: Ecclesiastes 11-12 (In Devotional Audio) Kindly Share this Nondenominational Devotional and Let’s Touch Lives Together. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Biola grew up learning to lean on her own understanding, and she had outstanding results. One of the first things she observed when she started walking with the Lord was that the Lord broke her confidence in the flesh. She found that her understanding was fruitless when she was dealing with a particular problem [orchestrated from the spirit realm]. The people she was dealing with were experienced in witchcraft, so even though she was more educated and had more worldly wisdom than them, all her wisdom became foolishness and she now needed to call upon the Lord for help, after losing a great deal. When a person has the ability to understand things easily, it is indeed a great and useful asset. Naturally, such a person might lean on his own understanding. He would not see the need to pray and acknowledge the Lord since he has figured out the problem and understands how to solve it. But human understanding is very limited and deficient when dealing with many issues of life because there is more to life than meets the eyes. In fulfilling your divine destiny, you will find that human wisdom becomes fruitless and you will need the help of the Lord. Solomon was the wisest man of His day, but he must have come to the realization that human wisdom without the help of God is futile. He wrote the verses above. Go into today remembering to acknowledge the Lord in all you do. Let Him always be in the driver’s seat of your life.
