Romans 8:19 (NLT)
For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are.
Gregor Mendel was a scientist who is today described as the father of modern genetics with so much relevance today in agriculture and medicine. It is also worthy of note that he was a monk, which meant a life of service to God. This life of dedication did not limit him but rather enabled him to manifest brilliance and excellence which today is still being celebrated.
It’s very popular these days to blame politicians and public office holders for our lack of success. However, we also must be held accountable due to our lack of manifesting God in our society. We know from history that great medical, industrial and technological solutions have been birthed by those who carry God’s presence, regardless of their limitations.
Our scripture text implies that it is us who our world is waiting for to bring the solution to some of the problems we all complain about. In other words, we are the ones delaying our progress. As carriers of His presence, we have deposited in us, divine wisdom for us to be inventors and innovators of good things that will glorify God (Pro 8:12 KJV) but instead we’ve passed this responsibility to the world to invent evil.
God carriers are solution providers and a force for positive change and not onlookers while the whole world collapses around us (Gen 1:2-3). Jesus Christ our role model, as well as the apostles, have shown that we can never go unnoticed when we are truly God carriers (Acts 10:38, 17:2-6).
Go into today knowing that because you carry His presence, your true worth is far greater than you can imagine. You’re a solution to a problem that will catapult you to the top.
