Be Tender With The Growing

Download the Audio: bit.ly/aud2084 Luke 1:20 (NET)  And now, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their time, you will be silent, unable to speak, until the day these things take place.” One angel, similar messages to two different people, similar responses by them, but different reactions by the angel. I am referring to the visits of Angel Gabriel to Zechariah, the father of John the Baptizer and Mary, the earthly mother of our Lord Jesus. When Zechariah asked the angel “How can I be sure this will happen? I’m an old man now, and my wife is also well along in years” (Luke 1:18), he was stricken with dumbness, but the angel was much more endearing and accommodating of Mary’s question about how Jesus would be born since she was still a virgin and not yet married. The angel took the time to explain everything to her, even though she and Zachariah asked similar questions. (Read Luke 1:4-34). You might be wondering why it played out like that. This is it. Zechariah was a priest. One who we would call a pastor today. He had grown in his work with God and was mature in faith. His experience and knowledge of God should have excluded him from questioning how God would work such a miraculous birth. He was familiar with how God had been dealing with His people, especially the patriarch, Abraham. Mary was young, was not even from the priestly lineage. She might just pass as a young Christian who is still learning about the operation of God. She still had not gotten in-depth knowledge of God and so, there was room for her to ask questions and be educated. No wonder Angel Gabriel took the time to educate her on how the birth process of Jesus was going to be. God deals with us differently, according to our level. With the mature, He expects to act, speak, and walk accordingly. And He will sometimes reprimand when they act otherwise. But with the growing believer, He will always want to guide, even when they misstep. We should be like God, especially in dealing with Christians that are not yet at our level. Be patient, endearing, loving, accommodating and comforting. In the end, Zechariah talked again after John was born. That’s God; loving and caring. No wonder Job said “though He slays me, yet will I trust in Him…”(Job 13:15). Go into today knowing that when dealing with a growing Christian, be tender. Come to their level and help them grow. Prayer: Dear Lord, please give me your heart in dealing with all people. Help me be a fruitful soul winner. Justified By God

Download the Audio: bit.ly/aud2083 Romans 8:33-34 (KJV) 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. When Nkiru was an unbeliever,  she performed many abortion procedures as a nurse. She had lost count of the number of abortions she performed because it was a very lucrative business. After accepting the Lord Jesus,  she repented of her sins and stopped performing abortions. Two years into her marriage, she could not conceive. Each time she tried to pray about this,  she was continually reminded of her past sins. It wasn’t until she got light from today’s scripture that she broke free from the bondage of darkness and conceived. Before the devil can afflict any believer,  he has to first accuse and bring them under condemnation. It is the duty of the believer to appropriate the realities of his redemption and break free from every accusation. Remember,  it is God who justified you,  not your works. If you believe this, you would walk in the realities of your redemption. Go into today remembering that because you are in Christ,  Jesus makes intercession for you. You are not alone in the Spirit realm. You have the biggest ally of all, and He is not ashamed of you. Prayer: Holy Father,  please help me know greater measures of your grace daily. Help me walk in the consciousness of my justification and help me be fruitful in every good work, In Jesus’ name. Amen. Want to be saved? The Wedding Invitation

Download the Audio: bit.ly/aud2082 Luke 14:16, 18 Then said He unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. (Read also Matt 22:1-14 and Rev 19:5-9) God is having a great supper. The Bible calls it the marriage supper of the Lamb (Rev 19:9). It is akin to a wedding feast. The Lord tying the knots with his bride before the hosts of heaven, it’s official. Then will the spirit, soul, and body be in perfect union with the Lord, no more body of sin, but a glorious body of power (1 Cor 15:43). The invitations are out, inked in the blood of the Son, Jesus. But those who make light of the king’s invitation will suffer the wrath of the king (Matt 22:5, 7). We come robed in the garment of Christ’s righteousness, anything else and you find yourself in the outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matt 22:13). The invitation is gone into the whole world (Titus 2:11 AMP) and there is a list of all who have received this call; it’s called the Lamb’s Book of Life (Rev 21:27), and those whose names are written therein are welcomed to the marriage supper of the Lamb. Jesus is the groom (2 Cor 11:2; Eph 5:25, 26), the Lamb, He has paid the (bride)price, he paid more than was required—for God became flesh and laid down his life for us so we can be free and freed from the hands of our slave-master; sin. He has bought you with a price but yet woos you as a man woos a bride. Time and again he calls you with the sweet words of the Goodnews saying, you need not continue in slavery to sin, come to me and live. You need not suffer eternal condemnation, come to me and have eternal life. Don’t take a chance. Some made light of his call and went their ways, one to his farm the other to his merchandise, and then suffered the wroth of the king. For when we excuse ourselves of his call, we excuse ourselves from his provision of grace. Don’t take a chance. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and live. Want to be saved?
