Hebrews 10:23 – 25 (NLT) Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near.
Many believers backside when they change environment because they are not diligent to maintain their spiritual disciplines that may now not fit into their new environment. Believers who would continue to grow are those who value their Christian fellowship and fight to maintain it.
Today, we are in an age of information technology–let’s take advantage of it. Because of conference calls, it is easy to maintain fellowship and prayer meetings with your brethren (of the same spirit) even if you are now far away from each other.
Go into today remembering that your company matters a lot. That’s why God has commanded us not to neglect the fellowship of our brethren. Much life and power is generated when believers who love the Lord and each other gather together under His authority.
Prayer: Father Lord, please help me not to neglect the fellowship of my brethren. Strengthen me with might in the inner man by your spirit, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
