Ephesians 5:17 (NKJV)Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
From today’s Bible verse, it is quite clear that when a person does not understand what the will of the Lord is, he is unwise.
Before you understand a thing, you must first know it or receive the information that is to be understood.
Many believers do not know the will of the Lord. That is why they do not understand it and walk in it. Reading the Bible, reading edifying books, listening to sermons that help you understand the word of God, etc., is the key to understanding the will of God and walking in divine wisdom. This wisdom is superior to the one the prince of this world operates, and through it we overcome the world.
The church was ordained by God to be the instrument through which He showcases His manifold wisdom (see Eph 3:10). As a member of the Church, your life should reveal the wisdom of God. This is only possible when you understand and walk in the will of the Lord.
Go into today remembering that knowing the will of God concerning every situation is the secret of walking in divine wisdom. This is only possible when you give attention to the word of God and fellowship with the Spirit.
Prayer: Ask the Lord to help you pay more attention to learning and understanding His word.
