Power In The Blood Of Jesus

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Free Conference Registration Here: streamglobe.org/conference2019 Download Audio Version: bit.ly/aud1991   Revelation 12:11 (KJV) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Sukanmi was afflicted and he knew the reason why. There was a time in his life that he was sinfully careless and opened the door to the devil. But he had since repented. Because he knew that the door to his affliction was opened when he backslid and took an adventure into the world, Sukanmi didn’t have the courage to resist the devil and receive his freedom. But through the ministry of the word, the Lord opened his eyes one night to the power and effect of the blood of Jesus. He now realized that because of the blood of Jesus, he was redeemed out of the hand of the devil, and was justified before God – just as if he had never sinned. That same week, he permanently broke free from the affliction of the devil. Before Satan can afflict people, he has to first successfully accuse them before the throne of God (see Job 1:9-12— how Satan accused Job before God and got the license to afflict him). Because all have sinned, and the natural tendencies of fallen man are sinful, the devil rarely runs out of potent accusations against people. Based on that, no descendant of Adam can overcome him on his own merit of righteousness. But Jesus came to be the sacrifice that atones for our sins (1 John 2:2): He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquity, chastised that we may have peace, and flogged that we may be healed (Isaiah 53:5). Because innocent righteous Jesus was made to suffer for our sins, if we believe in Him and abide in Him, we would not suffer again for our sins. By the blood of Jesus, Satan’s legal right to afflict you has been removed because Jesus has been afflicted in your stead. Based on our own righteousness, we could never overcome [the dark powers of the kingdom of] this world. But because of Jesus’ blood that is the receipt for the price Jesus paid to make us the righteousness of God, we are overcomers! Go into today remembering that through the blood of Jesus, we overcome Satan and walk in dominion. Hallelujah! Confession: By the blood of Jesus, my sins have been forgiven. By the blood of Jesus, I have been justified and cleansed. By the blood of Jesus, I have been redeemed out of the hand of the devil. Hallelujah! (Repeat this confession). -Pst. Living By Every Word.

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Download Audio Version: bit.ly/aud1990 Matthew 4:4 (KJV)  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceed out of the mouth of God. God’s word is powerful. People have had testimonies about their lives being changed by single verses in the Bible. Some have had life-changing moments from single messages, chapters, stories or even Bible books. However, have we considered what Jesus meant when he said: “man shall live by EVERY WORD that proceeds out of the mouth of Godâ€? – Every word. The Bible is a reasonable large book with verses that cover practically every aspect of human life. Jesus is saying every word is important for man to live by. While it is great to have life-changing experiences from verses and sections of the scriptures, we must always remember to return to the bible for more. A Christian should never be tired of learning the scripture until he has grasped every word that God has to offer in the bible. This is indeed impossible in one lifetime. As even the apostle Paul admitted to wanting to know more. Philippians 3:10 (KJV) “that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection…â€ Go into today with the consciousness that God wants us to live our lives according to every word that proceeds from Him. Let the humility of what is yet to be learned [from the Bible] guide us even into a deeper personal study of scriptures and prayers. Continue to learn of Him fellow student of Christ. Remain blessed. Prayer: Father, please help me find comfort, peace, and joy in your word. Amen. —Dr. Stephen O. Ohize Want to be born again? The Humility of Christ

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Download Audio Version: bit.ly/aud1989 Philippians 2:5-8 (NET)   You should have the same attitude toward one another that Christ Jesus had, who though he existed in the form of God did not regard equality with God as something to be grasped, but emptied himself by taking on the form of a slave, by looking like other men, and by sharing in human nature. He humbled himself, by becoming obedient to the point of death – even death on a cross! While studying the subject of humility and seeing that it is the strongest attribute of the nature of Christ pointed out in scripture(see Matthew 11:29, Philippians 2:5-8), I was wondering and asking the Lord why so much emphasis on the subject of humility. I didn’t ask long before I remembered that pride was the one thing that turned the angel Lucifer into Satan. Pride entered his heart and iniquity was found in him (Ezekiel 28:14, 15, 17). One of the biggest roots of iniquity is pride. The opposite of pride is humility. As powerful as God is, He is humble. We are to be like God not like the devil (see 1 Peter 1:16). Pride is a root of iniquity. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (1 Peter 5:5-6). Anyone who walks in pride will walk under the resistance of heaven. That’s a bad place to be. Do you want to live under the dew of heaven? Do you want your prayers answered before you even utter them? Then be truly humble. I Believe one reason Moses had so much power with God was that he was the most humble man on earth during his day (see Numbers 12:3). Go into today determining to be like Jesus in your heart. The strongest attribute of the nature of Christ is humility. Prayer: Resist all forms of pride and ask the Lord for grace to be more humble and gentle (see Ephesians 4:2). —Psst. Humility Like Christ’s

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Download Audio Version: bit.ly/aud1988 Luke 14:8 (NKJV) “When you are invited by anyone to a wedding feast, do not sit down in the best place, lest one more honourable than you be invited by him; and he who invited you come and say to you, ‘Give place to this man,’ and then you begin with shame to take the lowest place. Humility has become a buzz word with several opinions and views as to what it means. Some take it as being pious or gentile. However, Jesus taught us exactly what it should be as Christians. It is not taking the best place (the high table) simply because we think we deserve it. How many times have we been angry because we feel we are deserving of something that was offered to another person – Jesus calls it pride. How many times have we been angry amongst friends and colleagues because we feel we have not received the kind of treatment and respect we deserve? The scriptures admonish us to esteem others above ourselves. Philippians 2:3 “…but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselvesâ€. This is not even about equality but esteeming others better than ourselves. Are you disagreeing on principles or just because you think you are equal or better than others? How about your pastors and church leaders. Think about your daily interactions with equals, superiors, and subordinates; think about your relationship with husband, wife, parents, and authorities. What guides your interactions, Humility or the feeling of pride and/or equality? Pride is of the devil, it is his nature and in contrast to the life of Christ which is embedded in humility. Prayer: Go into today asking the Holy Spirit to help you look into your heart and separate healthy and godly aspirations from pride. —Dr. Stephen O. Ohize. Want to be born again? Learning From Christ- Humility

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Audio version here: bit.ly/aud1987 Matthew 11:29 (NET) Take my yoke on you and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. There was a time in my life that I wasn’t seeing the need or importance of the discipline of fasting in my walk with the Lord. Many of the reasons people gave for fasting weren’t adding up for me. But I had a conversation with a friend who had just been listening to some sermons by Derek Prince. He promptly informed me that he just learned that fasting is so powerful because it is one of the most effective ways people humble themselves before God. At that point it clicked, God gives grace(power) to the humble (see1 Peter 5:5-6, James 4:6-7). That’s the reason why when people fast, they can increase in spiritual power. That’s the reason why fasting is so powerful and such an effective discipline in seeking the face of God. When man fell and became like one of the other animals (to the extent that many call themselves a higher animal), the only way God could redeem man and bring him back to his original place of glory was to become like one of us. It was the sacrifice of a man that was required to fulfill the claims of divine justice, but there was no man qualified to be that sacrifice because all have sinned as a result of the seed of Adam. So Jesus came with the seed of the spirit of God as the first new creation man. He came without the Adamic sinful seed and was qualified to take away the sin of the whole world. But in order for this to happen, He, being the second person of the Godhead, had to strip Himself of all His glory and become a humble man who would be killed by His creatures. Such humility is unparalleled, and the glory such humility invokes is also unparalleled (see Philippians 2:7-11). Go into today remembering that it is to the humble that God gives grace. Do you want to walk in great grace like our Lord Jesus? Then let Him be your example in humility. Do everything to help keep your heart in a humble state. Prayer: Lord, deliver me from every root of pride and help me to be perfectly humble and gentle. Amen. —Pst. Abraham Damilola Arigi Want to be born again? Receiving Through His Promises

Audio Version here☞ bit.ly/aud1245 2 Corinthians 1:20 (ESV) For all the promises of God find their Yes in [Christ]. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory. Jade had a problem that made her pray and cry almost every night. One day she was listening to the word of God, she heard a promise that spoke directly about her problem.  She was first excited, but she later said ‘this promise only applied to the Hebrew women and not for me’. She didn’t realize that the promises of God are actually more real in Christ than they were in the old covenant. When she knew that the promise she heard on the radio was actually meant for her because she was in Christ, she claimed and received her miracle. It was that simple.  It is the same God that Abraham and the other patriarchs of the faith worshiped that we worship. But we can even have a closer relationship with Him through Christ Jesus. God’s word is the most powerful force in the whole universe. When God releases His word in the form of promises, if you believe them and receive them in Christ’s name with thanksgiving, they will be fulfilled in your life just as you have believed. Go into today remembering that being in Christ is superior to being a Jew. All the promises of God (even the ones that the Jews could not receive) can be received by you through Christ Jesus. Let your prayers take root in the word and promises of God. This is the most effective way to pray and receive from God. Prayer: Ask the Lord to help you know and claim all His promises for you. Now That You Are Born Again

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Audio version with Bible here: bit.ly/aud1986 Healing prayer for the sick in today’s audio Matthew 11:29 (KJV) Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. George’s Dad was a very successful and celebrated athlete who won so many medals, made a lot of money through his athletic career and moved on to become a very successful businessman. Because of the resemblance between George’s dad and him, people fondly referred to them as twins. George inherited his father’s athletic genes and was like a carbon copy of his dad,  but he didn’t have his father’s interest in sports and never became an athlete like his father. From George’s story, we can learn that it is possible to have the gene of a man and even look like him but hate what he loves and never become like him. You will not become like your Father just because he fathered you, you will become like him by learning his ways and imbibing his disciplines. The reason a believer may not be having the results Jesus had is because he has not yet learned to live like Jesus lived. Jesus lived by the Father, and we are to live by Him (see John 6:57). Now that you are saved, what is next is to learn the life of Jesus and live like he lived. Read Luke 10:39-42 Go into today knowing that the way to become like Jesus is learning of Him and living life the way He did.   â€”Dr. Emmanuel James   Want to be born again? But When Men Slept

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Audio version with Bible here: bit.ly/aud1985 Healing prayer for the sick in today’s audio Matthew 13:25 (KJV) But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. After Joel stock his new fish ponds with fingerlings, he would come every morning and evening to feed them and sometimes just stand admiring how the little creatures were fearing. After some months when the time of harvest was near, Joel woke up as usual and went to the ponds to feed the fish. but to his shock, more than two third of the fish were missing– someone had stolen them. The thief came in the night while Joel slept. It was after this sad incidence that Joel employed a guard. You see, the devil is a thief (see John 10:10), he achieves this by taking advantage of the weakness or weak moment of the one from whom he steals. One of such moment is described as ‘when men slept’. Jesus in Matthew 24:43 (KJV) says that, if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. So, the way to keep the thief away is to keep watch. How then do we watch? Matthew 26:38 KJV, ‘Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.’ According to Jesus in the passage above, to watch means to pray. And someone may say, how can I pray when I am weak? Mark 14:38 (KJV) says, ‘Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.’ It is whenever you don’t feel like praying that you need prayer the most, because, not feeling like praying is a temptation and the way to overcome it is to pray. Go into today knowing that when you keep watching, you keep the thief away. Pray like this:  Father, I receive the spirit of grace and prayer, and with discipline and the help of the Holy Spirit, I keep the enemy away from my life in Jesus name. —Dr. Emmanuel James Want to be born again? God Wants All People Saved

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Audio version with Bible here: bit.ly/aud1242 Healing prayer for the sick in today’s audio 1 Timothy 2:4 (NET)… [God] wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. Emeka had prayed for the salvation of his brothers for years, but it appeared that things were getting worse and not better. A time came that he started to entertain the false thought that maybe his brothers were not saved because they were never selected by God for salvation. This thought in his heart weakened his faith and made his prayer for his brothers less powerful. When he knew that it was God’s will for them to be saved, his supplications for them became more powerful and regular, and he started seeing the result. All his brothers eventually became saved. I have come to learn that the most powerful kind of prayer regarding the salvation of others is the prayer of supplication. Another word for supplication is begging. When it comes to the will and choice of other people, your declarations and demands may not be very effective, but your plea before the throne of God for them is very effective. Only God has the authority to influence the will of people, and we have to make sufficient supplications before His throne to make this happen. If we begin to entertain the false thought that maybe God has not selected a person to be saved, it weakens our faith in prayer for that person’s salvation. Go into today knowing that one of the reasons God placed you in your family is because He wants you to pray and generate sufficient spiritual license for Him to invade the other members of your family with His salvation. Prayer: Lord, please help me do my part in facilitating the salvation of my loved ones. Amen. —Pst. Abraham Damilola ArigiWant to be saved? Turning the Grace of God Into License

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference |  Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Jude 1:4 (NET) For certain men have secretly slipped in among you – men who long ago were marked out for the condemnation I am about to describe – ungodly men who have turned the grace of our God into a license for evil and who deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. A certain preacher traveled a far distance to preach in a church that invited him. While resting in his motel room, he heard a knock on his door. When he responded he realized it was a desperate prostitute who saw him as a potential client.  He felt a lot of pity for her while informing her that he wasn’t interested in her services. “Only if this precious one would receive the gospel and be set free” he thought. To his biggest surprise the next day, after finding his way to the church where he was to preach,  he noticed that the same prostitute who knocked on his door in the motel was one of the chorus leaders in the choir. He couldn’t understand how this could be. When he further inquired,  he observed that some of the leaders in the church knew what this lady used to do once in a while to “help herself pay the bills”,  but they all looked the other way because they said “after all, we are under grace. It is not by works but by grace”. Clearly,  this church and its teachers had taken the grace of God as a license to sin. They were in great danger but didn’t know it. If the grace of God is not properly understood,  it would be taken for a license to sin by those who do not love righteousness(Romans 6:1-2).  But if the grace of God is properly understood,  it is the greatest power against the dominion of sin in the life of a believer (see Romans 6:14). Grace can be mistaken for license by some because righteousness through grace is one that does not depend on works and rules, but one that is received as a gift and appropriated by faith. This faith makes the believer understand that the reason he is accepted by God is not because of what he did but because of the righteousness of Jesus. This understanding and living from this standpoint of faith is the secret to walking truly in the righteousness of Jesus– one that has dominion over sin. Go into today remembering that it is an agenda of the devil to cause believers to take the grace of God and turn it into a license for sin. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Confession: sin has no dominion over me. I walk in grace and not under condemnation. Hallelujah! —Pst. Abraham Damilola Arigi Want to be born again?
