1 Corinthians 11:29-30 (KJV)
For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
We have all been baptized into the same baptism by the same Spirit, however, His manifestations through us differ.
Ephesians 4:4-5 (KJV), “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”
A measure of grace has been given to each of us as members of the body, but in the body lays the fullness of all grace. Because what has been given to us as individuals is a measure, to be effective in our calling we need to partake of the fullness.
1 Corinthians 12:27 (KJV), “Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.”
“Now here is what I am trying to say: All of you together are the one body of Christ and each of you is a separate and necessary part of it.” 1 Co 12:27 (TLB)
1 Corinthians 12:27 (KJV), “And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be feebler, are necessary: And those members of the body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.”
You see, every believer, office, and gift is important to God.
Go into today remembering that, you are a part of the body of Christ (The Church). You are important to the body (Church) and the head (Christ).
