No To Slavery

Romans 6:15-16 (NET) What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Absolutely not! Do you not know that if you present yourselves as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or obedience resulting in righteousness? Because Tom understood that the grace of God was abundant and that forgiveness of sins was always available in God, he started flirting with sin and invoking grace. It didn’t take him long to realize that he was now a slave to certain sins he used to enjoy. Even though he wanted to be free, he found that he did not have the ability to break free. If a believer willfully gives himself to any sin for a period of time, that sinful work of the flesh will ultimately open the door to the dominion of demons that impose that sin. When this happens, such a person becomes a slave to that kind of sin. This is the kind of situation that would require deliverance, and in certain cases, the person involved may need to confess to another believer who can help administer deliverance to him. Go into today remembering that sin of any kind is never to be allowed to continue in the life of a believer because it leads to spiritual slavery to darkness. Dwelling in Christ Part 1

John 15:5(NKJV) “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. Three years after Bill had accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, he still was not baptized in the Holy Spirit. Unfortunately, this did not bother him because the only difference he believed it made was that it caused people to speak in tongues; something he didn’t particularly look forward to. But Bill couldn’t be more wrong. He was lacking the fullness of His new life because he was never filled with the Holy Spirit. Bill often wondered what people who prayed for up to an hour were saying for so long. He would get bored and even sleep off if he tried to pray for more than ten minutes. Bill never enjoyed fellowship with the Lord because he was not yet filled with the Holy Spirit. This was the primary reason why Bill experienced so many demonic attacks. The reason why many Christians do not enjoy the full benefits of their salvation is because they are not dwelling in Christ. The thing about dwelling in Christ is that He will also dwell in you, and He dwells in you through His Holy Spirit. He lives in you so that you may live in Him. Anyone who is baptized in the Holy Spirit and stays filled with the Holy Spirit will experience this. Go into today determining to be filled with the Holy Spirit at all times. If you are a Christian and you are not yet baptized in the Holy Spirit, it is time for you to make this your top priority. Prayer: thank you Lord because you are my baptizer. Heavenly Father, I ask for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ name I pray. Wisdom application

Broadcast 4025Click here for the audio version:streamglobe.org/aud4025Proverbs 15:20 (NET) A wise child brings joy to his father, but a foolish person despises his mother. Dayo was sent to learn to be an auto mechanic. His master in the trade was not as educated as he was, but he was very skilled. Dayo applied all his heart to the trade and became excellent in a very short while. His father in the trade was glad to see how fast he was learning. But there came a time when Dayo became even more skilled than his master. He would know what to do when they are challenged with very difficult situations that even his father in trade couldn’t solve. But Dayo was a wise young man. He continued to treat his master with even more respect, and he made it clear to everyone that he knew all he knew because his master chose to show all he knew. Dayo was a continual source of Joy to his master until it was time for him to leave to start up his own workshop. His master was quite sad because he was losing his most skilled and most trusted son in the trade. He blessed Dayo with all his heart and released him to go into the world to prosper in the trade. That was exactly what Dayo did. Today’s Bible text looks most appropriate for the family setting, but it is equally applicable in instances such as the one mentioned above. One of the ways to know if you are wise is to check if you bring joy or sorrow to those who have helped you and contributed to making you who you are today. As you go into today, remember that God has called us to be wise and not foolish, to be meek and not conceited. Prayer: Ask the Lord to make you even more wise from today. The Ministry of Angels

Hebrews 1:14 (NIV) Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? After fasting all day and being really tired, a man was driving between two towns in the northern part of Nigeria when he had a flat tire. He was in the middle of the wilderness with no human settlement in sight. Two young men approached him and offered to change his tire; he was so glad and gave them some money when they finished changing it. While he was driving away from them, he looked into his rear mirror to observe them as many thoughts flooded his mind about these very nice men in the middle of the wilderness. “Where did they come from and how come they speak such fluent English?” he thought as he looked in his rear mirror, but he couldn’t find them anymore. They had literally disappeared. He also saw the money he gave them back in the place where he took it. This is a true story. Angels minister to those who will inherit salvation, whether they are born again at the time or not. How much more so when you are born again. The Bible tells us that the angel of the Lord encamps around them that fear Him (see Psa 34:7). These angels could also physically manifest themselves if the need arises. Go into today knowing that you are not alone in this world and you can never ever be forsaken in this life because God who controls angels and the entire universe is on your side. Prayer: thank you Lord for this day. Thank you for your great love for me. I pray you help me walk always in your will for me. The Hope of Our Calling

Ephesians 1:18(KJV) The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints… A lot has been said and written about faith and love, but not as much about Hope. We all understand that if a person loses his faith, he has lost his spiritual life. And we also understand that if a person does not have love, it is a sign that he does not have faith in the first place because faith in God will always produce love. Out of the three dominant Christian attributes (faith, hope, and love) mentioned in 1 Cor 13:13, hope is the least talked about. It is because of hope that we continue to have faith. One of the most important things God gives to us is hope. He does this by giving us the Holy Spirit who guarantees our inheritance. The Holy Spirit also causes us to experience a foretaste of the things to come. The sad reality today is that many Christians have managed to survive eliminating the hope of our calling from their minds. They do not really look forward to the resurrection of the dead because they have been tricked into focusing on this present life and not on the kingdom. They forget that the best this present world order has to offer is but shadows when compared with what we will get when our bodies have been redeemed into the likeness of Christ. Go into today remembering the hope of your calling into God’s kingdom. God is making sons in the image of Christ. This God’s grand design will be fully actualized when in the resurrection, we are changed to become exactly as Christ is. See 1 John 3:2. Prayer: Ask the Lord to help you never lose sight of the hope of His calling. —Abraham Damilola Arigi To Start getting Streamglobe earlier every: Join our WhatsApp Group: https://chat.whatsapp.com/JnqvSRyY3I2Ce13V18ZrEoJoin our Telegram Group: https://t.me/streamglobe1 Bible In 1 Year: Mark 7-8 Streamglobe is interdenominational. Learning Meekness

Matthew 5:5(KJV) “Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.” What is your first reaction when someone offends you or does something justifiably wrong to you? Do you instantly respond and give them a piece of your mind? How about when your colleague takes credit and receives recognition for your work? Do you report them immediately to your boss with hopes to prove that you are not a pushover? For many of us, these are our natural responses and reactions to such circumstances. However, as disciples of Jesus, we are called to the way of meekness. Instead of fighting for our rights and entitlements, we are told to let God fight for us. This is completely countercultural in a world where we are constantly being told to stand up for ourselves. Indeed, the world doesn’t value meekness at all and it cannot because it is the way of the kingdom of God. Jesus himself demonstrated this principle in 1 Peter 2:23, “when they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.” You see, meekness is not just about subjecting yourself to undue punishment and suffering. It is about surrendering yourself to the sovereignty of God and entrusting your life completely into His hands. When you practice meekness then, you are demonstrating your complete and total trust in God by refusing to take matters into your own hands. Your first response then when are you confronted with unjust offenses and wrongs should not be an impulsive reaction and retaliation even though it may come naturally. Let us instead learn to trust God with every aspect of our lives. Prayer: Lord Jesus, please give me the grace to live my life in meekness. Pray lest you enter into temptation

Fred was told that reading was the key to passing his exams. So, he read diligently but still failed. Being a child, he turned to his mother, exclaiming, “You lied, Mom! You said I’d pass if I read my books. I read them all, but I failed!” His mother, with a gentle smile, asked him how he read. Fred admitted he didn’t understand much of it. Many Christians have heard Jesus’ words, “Pray lest you enter into temptation” (Mark 14:38), and they prayed. But when faced with temptation, they fell. Like Fred, they wonder why. Here’s the thing: you shouldn’t stop praying until you get an answer from God, just like Fred shouldn’t have stopped reading until he understood his books. But many Christians pray haphazardly. They pray until they feel like stopping, instead of letting answers guide their prayer time. God says, “I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence, and give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” So, decide today: never stop praying until you’re stronger than your adversities and empowered to resist temptation.—Dr. Emmanuel James To Start getting Streamglobe earlier every:Join our WhatsApp Group: https://chat.whatsapp.com/JnqvSRyY3I2Ce13V18ZrEoJoin our Telegram Group: https://t.me/streamglobe1 Bible In 1 Year: I Corinthians 11-12 Streamglobe is interdenominational. Claim Your Inheritance

Deuteronomy 2:24 (KJV) “Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.” John was just a kid when he started having dreams of greatness. At first, he shrugged them off, but they kept coming. Eventually, he embraced the idea that he was destined for wealth and success. And for a while, things looked bright – he excelled in school, topping his department. But then, life took a sharp turn downhill. In today’s passage, God promised land to Israel, but they had to fight for it. Similarly, John had a glimpse of God’s plan for his life, but he didn’t realize it would be a battle to get there. Don’t expect God’s promises to come easy. If you want to see them fulfilled, get ready to fight through faith and prayer (See Ephesians 6:12,18). Ask God to equip you for the battle ahead, so you can overcome every obstacle in your path (Psalm 18:34).—Emmanuel James To Start getting Streamglobe earlier every:Join our WhatsApp Group: https://chat.whatsapp.com/JnqvSRyY3I2Ce13V18ZrEoJoin our Telegram Group: https://t.me/streamglobe1 Bible In 1 Year: Jeremiah 1-6 Streamglobe is interdenominational. Fruit of the Spirit 11

Because of the way Lanre was raised, he was very harsh and brash. He was only nice to people he wanted to impress or get something from. He didn’t know any other way of doing things because that was the way he was brought up. After receiving the Lord Jesus and allowing His word to change the way he lives, he found that Jesus was not pleased with the way he behaved. A gentle person is kind, tender, and mild-mannered. He treats people with the level of kindness and tenderness he would expect from people. God is gentle and humble. So should we because we have received His divine nature and should walk in it.Go into today remembering that God does not want you to be harsh and cruel. He wants you to treat people the way you would want to be treated, even those who are in the position of serving you.—Abraham Damilola ArigiTo Start getting Streamglobe earlier every:Join our WhatsApp Group: https://chat.whatsapp.com/JnqvSRyY3I2Ce13V18ZrEoJoin our Telegram Group: https://t.me/streamglobe1 Bible In 1 Year: Job 25-26 Streamglobe is interdenominational. How to Overcome Sin

John 8:31-32 (KJV) reads, “Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”  Johnny discovered that a particular sin would not go away after much confession and prayer, so he decided to study the life of Jesus since he knew that Jesus never sinned; he wanted to know how Jesus did it. During his study, he discovered that the reason Jesus never sinned was because he always obeyed his Father. After his discovery, he made up his mind to always obey every instruction God gives him and also decided to spend his time praying for grace to obey God instead of praying to overcome that particular sin. Today, many Christians like Johnny have a sin that they struggle with. They want to be free and have tried all that they could but are not successful, so they have decided to live with it and keep asking for forgiveness whenever they indulge in it. If you want to be free, study the word of God to know his commandments and make up your mind to obey them. Secondly, make sure you obey the personal instructions that God gives you. The more you are able to obey God, the freer from sin you become. Go into today knowing that freedom from sin does not come by trying to overcome sin. Rather, it comes by obeying God’s instructions. It is only those who are submitted to God that have the power to resist the devil (James 4:7). The more submitted you are, the more powerful you become. Prayer: Father, please give me the power to obey you in all things in Jesus’ name, amen!—Dr. Emmanuel James To Start getting Streamglobe earlier every:Join our WhatsApp Group: https://chat.whatsapp.com/JnqvSRyY3I2Ce13V18ZrEoJoin our Telegram Group: https://t.me/streamglobe1 Bible In 1 Year: Psalms 36-38 Streamglobe is interdenominational.
