Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Tracy was living in Rwanda as an aid worker from the United States. Because she came from America and her family was still in America, her heart was more set on the things going on in America than the things going on in Rwanda. Even though she was very aware of what was going on in Rwanda, It was very clear that her heart was still at home. For example, she watched more American news than Rwandan news. She did her productive work in Rwanda but her heart was set at home. She was simply a pilgrim and ambassador in Rwanda and she knew it. Before we were raised with Christ, we were first dead in our sins. It is because of our sins that Jesus had to die, and in Him we all died. We were also buried with Him through [water] baptism (Col 2:12a, Rom 6:5). Through faith in the power of God, we are raised with Christ and now live the life of Christ (Col 2:12b). The perfection of our resurrection will be revealed when we are physically raised with our glorious bodies (see Col 3:3). If indeed we live the life of Christ who is in heaven, we must think His thoughts. We must set our hearts on things above and not on earthly things. This does not mean we will not live productive lives here on earth. It means we are pilgrims and strangers on this earth, and we live here with that mindset, while being productive and diligent in serving the Lord through our various ministries: jobs, businesses, occupations, etc. Go into today remembering that your citizenship is in heaven. You are not of this world. You’ve been empowered to shine and not to blend. -Pastor SD Abraham GET AUDIO SERMONS HERE: http://bit.ly/SERmons Yearly Bible Reading: Malachi (In Devotional Audio) Kindly Share this Nondenominational Devotional and Let’s Touch Lives Together. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Biola was a very intelligent and hard working person. But the people she started partnering with were in the occult and were very wise in the things of the world. When it became clear to Biola that her new business partners were not sincere at all, and at some point they were even making enchantments to attack her, she had to cry to the Lord for help. Her understanding had failed her and she was now willing to trust in the Lord. The first mistake she made was that in her business, she made herself unequally yoked together with unbelievers. She made the mistake of entering an equal level business partnership with unbelievers. At the beginning, the business deal looked very good and lucrative, so she entered it despite the check she had in her spirit. She entered the business partnership and leaned on her understanding rather than trusting in the Lord and obeying His word. When you trust in the Lord and lean on Him rather than leaning on your own understanding, it means you will obey His word and live according to it. His instruction may look like it is not the smartest thing to do in your current situation, but when you do not lean on your own understanding, you will obey His word rather than acting according to your own understanding. This is how to trust in the Lord with all your heart. Go into today asking the Lord to empower you trust in Him with all your heart. -Pastor SD Abraham GET AUDIO SERMONS HERE: http://bit.ly/SERmons Yearly Bible Reading: Ecclesiastes 11-12 (In Devotional Audio) Kindly Share this Nondenominational Devotional and Let’s Touch Lives Together. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Biola grew up learning to lean on her own understanding, and she had outstanding results. One of the first things she observed when she started walking with the Lord was that the Lord broke her confidence in the flesh. She found that her understanding was fruitless when she was dealing with a particular problem [orchestrated from the spirit realm]. The people she was dealing with were experienced in witchcraft, so even though she was more educated and had more worldly wisdom than them, all her wisdom became foolishness and she now needed to call upon the Lord for help, after losing a great deal. When a person has the ability to understand things easily, it is indeed a great and useful asset. Naturally, such a person might lean on his own understanding. He would not see the need to pray and acknowledge the Lord since he has figured out the problem and understands how to solve it. But human understanding is very limited and deficient when dealing with many issues of life because there is more to life than meets the eyes. In fulfilling your divine destiny, you will find that human wisdom becomes fruitless and you will need the help of the Lord. Solomon was the wisest man of His day, but he must have come to the realization that human wisdom without the help of God is futile. He wrote the verses above. Go into today remembering to acknowledge the Lord in all you do. Let Him always be in the driver’s seat of your life. Can a man who plans to go on a journey but carries an extremely heavy load on his shoulders get to the airport on time? No, because he stands the risk of missing his flight. Rather he enters a vehicle which is able to carry all his load to his destination (1Peter 5:7). This airport can signify the end of one’s assignment here on earth or a particular phase of life. 2. Can a man who though having entered a vehicle to the airport but carries a luggage beyond the acceptable weight requirement for his flight get on board the plane? No. He has to either remove items from his luggage to meet the travel requirement or risk forfeiting his journey. Jesus is our burden lifter Mattew11:28. 3. Can a man, knowing fully well the laws of the land where he is traveling to, carry with him contraband on his luggage? There is a strong argument that that man on arrival is either deported or jailed depending on what is contained in his baggage. We must examine ourselves regularly to check if we are travel worthy. You see, the will of God is for us to run this life’s race as light as we can be to avoid being weary and eventually fly to his kingdom without the risk of missing our flight, refused entry to our flight, crashing our flight or being deported on arrival at our destination (Isaiah 40:30,31; Matthew 22:11-14). You might have the required passport, visa, bag size/weight but still, if the content is contraband, you will not escape border control. Who has packed your bag for life’s journey? Are we ready to cast off our burdens at the foot of the cross of Calvary? What is that thing in life that may become a hindrance to your entering God’s kingdom? Do you feel your progress is slow even after you have been saved that you feel unbelievers are overtaking you in the things of life? Cast it all on Jesus. -Chibo E.C Not yet saved? ☞ http://bit.ly/beSaved2 Yearly Bible Reading: Nehemiah 1-4 (In Devotional Audio) Kindly Share this Nondenominational Devotional and Let’s Touch Lives Together. FREEDOM IN CHRIST

Stand firm, then, and do not be subject again to the yoke of slavery. Because Azubike didn’t want to go back to the bondage of the flesh, he now became legalistic. He noticed that it was easier for him to manage a life controlled by rules and regulations, and he started trusting in those rules and regulations as the reason why he is saved. His focus was no more on Christ Jesus. It didn’t take him long to realize that he was no more filled with the Holy Spirit. The joy of the Lord that once filled his heart was no more there, and he was now becoming a very judgmental and unloving Christian. There are two kinds of bondage believers can get entangled in. The first is the bondage of legalism. Paul talks about this in Gal 5:1-12. This bondage makes the believer think he receives his salvation because of certain rules and regulations that he now follows. Such a ‘believer’ is not free in Christ, but has gone back to bondage. The second kind of bondage is the bondage of licentiousness or bondage to the flesh. Paul talks about this in Gal 5:13-26. This makes the believer think that because he has been set free from the bondage of the law, he can now indulge the flesh without any consequences. People in this bondage are those who use the grace of God as a license to sin. Such ‘believers’ are not free in Christ, but have gone back to bondage. Go into today knowing that true freedom comes by believing in Christ, continuing to believe in Him, and living under His Lordship (authority) through the Holy Spirit. This means you will obey His word and desire to please Him in the way you live your life. Righteousness for the believer is not primarily administered by rules and regulations, but by our relationship with God through His Spirit. -Pastor SD Abraham Not yet saved? ☞ http://bit.ly/beSaved2 Yearly Bible Reading: Deuteronomy 20-22 (In Devotional Audio) Kindly Share this Nondenominational Devotional and Let’s Touch Lives Together. THE HOLY SPIRIT 2

Azubike observed that he became spiritually stronger and able to resist temptations when he became filled with the Holy Spirit. This was not the case with him before. He lived a miserable Christian life because he was lacking spiritual strength and would fall into temptations from time to time. He was so excited that for the first time in his life, he knew he had the strength to say ‘no’ to the temptations that always made him trip over. He now wanted to do all things possible to make sure he remained filled with the Holy Spirit. The only way to successfully mortify (and not merely suspend) the works of the flesh is through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit does not only fill our hearts, He also quickens our mortal bodies when He fills us (see Rom 8:11). This means He gives strength to our mortal bodies and empowers us to walk in the will of God. When a believer walks in a defiled conscience, he cannot freely have fellowship with the Lord through His Spirit, and thus he progressively becomes weaker because grace is supplied and multiplied through our fellowship with the Lord (2 Pet 1:2). The devil works overtime to tempt believers into sin, so that their consciences can be defiled, and they will no longer walk in [fellowship with] the Spirit. Go into today knowing that you cannot overcome the flesh by the power of the soul [through rules and regulations]. You can only put to death the works of the flesh by the power of the Spirit. Prayer: Ask the Lord to fill you with the Holy Spirit (Read Luke 11:13). Pray in the Spirit for at least 15 minutes. -Pastor SD Abraham Not yet born again? click here☞ http://bit.ly/beSaved2 *You can download the conference sermons here:* www.streamglobe.org/audio-sermons/ Yearly Bible Plan: Acts 17-18 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is nondenominational. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. When you became born again, you received the Lord Jesus as your personal Lord and savior. It meant you now allowed the Lord to rule your life through His Holy Spirit that was now within you. If a person claims to be born again, but does not submit to the Lordship of Christ over his life, that person is a baby Christian at best, or is not born again at all. Now, being a baby Christian should be a very temporal state in the life of a believer because it is a very dangerous place to remain as a believer. This is the reason why a believer can still be under the oppression and authority of demons and demonic circles and patterns may still find expression in his life. Every believer has the Holy Spirit, and the Kingdom of God is administered in his life through the Holy Spirit. The most important mark of being a believer is the Holy Spirit living within you. The Holy Spirit dwells in you and administers the kingdom and government of God within you. He controls you, teaches you, counsels you and comforts you. He intercedes for you with groaning’s that cannot be uttered (see Rom 8:26). He is the earthly executor of the heavenly ministry of Christ; He appropriates everything that Christ is to you and for you. Go into today knowing that you cannot be a Christian without the Holy Spirit, you can only be a religious legalist void of the life and power of God that produces true holiness. Prayer: Ask the Lord to fill you with the Holy Spirit again. Ask God to help you always remain in the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit (see 2 Cor 13:14). Now if I am to go on living in the body, this will mean productive work for me, yet I don’t know which I prefer: I feel torn between the two, because I have a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far, but it is more vital for your sake that I remain in the body. Dozie used to be very sickly. He was always on very expensive medication. He attended a youth conference and discovered that life as a believer meant living for the purpose of Christ. He decided that he was henceforth going to live for Christ and fulfill his God-given assignment. With the help of God, he discovered God’s assignment for him per season and did his best to fulfill it. Over time, Dozie observed that he was no longer sickly was no more needing those expensive drugs to survive. He knew he was now working in divine health. And he later found out that this was because he was now living for Christ. In the Bible verses above, we see Apostle Paul deciding whether he was ready to die or whether he wanted to keep on living. It is clear from this that Apostle Paul’s life was not at the mercy of anybody or any disease. But what was Paul’s secret? Why did he have such control over his life and was the one to decide when he would die? Paul had such great control over life because he lived for Christ. That is what he meant when he said ‘living is Christ’. Go into today remembering that believers launch into their orbit of power when they stop living for themselves and start living for Christ(see 1 Cor 5:15). -Pastor SD Abraham Yearly Bible Plan: Ecclesiastes 9-10 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is nondenominational. Bidemi had spent 35 Minutes singing and thanking the Lord. Her food on the oven-stove burnt before she realized she had taken so long thanking the Lord and counting her blessings. She observed that the joy of the Lord had filled her heart again, and she felt great strength and might in her spirit. The Holy Spirit filled her and she began to prophesy concerning future. That was when she knew she was going to have five children. She also remembered to bind every evil power working against her joy, and she knew they were indeed bound. She conceived the next month. Many times, believers lose out because they allow their hearts to be heavy and devoid of joy. When a believer is heavy and depressed, he cannot be Spirit-filled at the same time. The devil knows this, so he sends thoughts and imaginations to make believers sad and heavy. There are many people in this world under his control, so he also uses them. But we have been empowered to resist him (see James 4:7). The life of God you have within you is superior. It has the ability to overcome the world (1 John 5:4). Because of this, you can remain joyful no matter what is happening around you. You can also bring your environment into subjection to the will of God when you are filled with the Holy Spirit. Go into today knowing that Spirit-filled Christians are joyful and thankful Christians. After several months of marriage, Bidemi had not conceived and she became really worried. She started imagining all kinds of negative things. She heard that those who had committed abortion might have damaged their wombs and may never conceive. She was particularly worried because she had had two abortions while an unbeliever. She was also worried because she felt it could be her stepmother’s curse at work. She forgot that her stepmother said she would never marry. But she was now happily married to a man who truly loved her. He was the one encouraging her and telling her that nothing was wrong with her. He said that even if her womb was damaged, God would restore it. As she went through her old sermon notes, she remembered something she had learned years ago. It was a sermon centered on Philippians 4:8. She remembered she came out of circles of depression and oppression after she had listened to that sermon and decided to always focus her mind on the good in her life. She remembered she became spiritually strong and started walking in perpetual victory after receiving that message. She repented and decided to start thanking the Lord for all the good in her life. This is how joy filled her heart again. The more you focus on your challenges, the bigger they become. But the more you focus on the Lord and what He is doing in your life, the smaller your challenges become, and the stronger you become to overcome them.
