THE SUPERNATURAL DIMENSION 2

Download Today’s Audio☞ http://bit.ly/audio1723 1 Corinthians 12:1 (WEB) Now concerning spiritual things, brothers, I don’t want you to be ignorant. Dean had become a grandmaster in the occult. He gave himself so much to the occult because he wanted power. He thought he had power until one prayerful widow moved next door to him within the same apartment. This woman had more power than Dean had ever seen. She was a real prayer warrior. Many times she prayed in the night, Dean saw strange things like powerful angels whose presence terrified the demons that normally empowered him. Because she was his next door neighbor and her presence and prayers kept terrifying and subduing him, he eventually surrendered to Christ because of her influence. This woman could lead Dean to the Lord and effectively disciple him because she was not ignorant concerning the things of the spirit and the supernatural dimension of the faith. The first night she slept in that apartment, she knew who Dean was in the spirit, and she intentionally demobilized him spiritually. That was what ultimately led him to salvation. She would have never been able to lead a man like Dean to the Lord if she was not exposed to the supernatural and prophetic dimension of her walk with the Lord. Revelations, spiritual gifts, angelic encounters, etc, were not strange to her. Go into today remembering that you are more effective in life and ministry when you are not ignorant concerning spiritual things. Prayer: Ask the Lord to guide you into all truth so that you may experience the supernatural and power dimension of His kingdom. —SD Abraham Bible in 1 Year: II Kings 21-25 (in today’s audio) To start getting Streamglobe Devotional Text & Audio on your WhatsApp, join our WhatsApp Group Here☞ https://chat.whatsapp.com/6jUj1xYszMUG0f1vXtObwQ Or Join Our Telegram Group☞ https://t.me/streamglobe1 Get sermons here☞ streamglobe.org/34 Streamglobe is interdenominational. THE SUPERNATURAL DIMENSION

1 Corinthians 5:3-4 (KJV) For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ When Elisha told Gehazi that he was there in the spirit when he went back to collect items from Naaman(see 2 Kings 5:26), this was not ‘word of knowledge’ but a function of the same reality apostle Paul talks about in today’s verses (regarding his spirit being with the Corinthians). These are spiritual realities available to God’s people who take advantage of their prophetic heritage. Now, these dimensions are not the main thrust of our faith but are realities that we can experience as we grow in intimacy with the Lord and as the need arises. Believers don’t follow these signs but signs follow us when we are properly aligned to God’s will and purpose for our lives. People have tried to explain away the reality of these supernatural dimensions of our faith, just like some ministers have tried to explain away the reality of divine healing and spiritual gifts because they do not have them in their ministries. But angelic encounters, spirit transport, and many other mind-blowing supernatural experiences seen in scripture are available for the believer even today. As a believer grows in the knowledge of God, the supernatural becomes more and more natural and normal to us. That’s the way it should be if we do not close our hearts to the supernatural dimensions of our faith.Go into today knowing that the fact that you have not experienced a reality in God does not mean it does not exist. Open your heart to the supernatural dimensions of your walk with God as you remain guided by the word of God and the Spirit of Truth. —SD Abraham Bible in 1 Year: Leviticus 22-24 (in today’s audio) To start getting Streamglobe Devotional Text & Audio on your WhatsApp, join our WhatsApp Group Here☞ https://chat.whatsapp.com/6jUj1xYszMUG0f1vXtObwQ Or Join Our Telegram Group☞ https://t.me/streamglobe1 Download Today’s Audio☞ http://bit.ly/audio1722 Get sermons here☞ streamglobe.org/34 Streamglobe is interdenominational. ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED?

1 Corinthians 5:1-2 (NET) It is actually reported that sexual immorality exists among you, the kind of immorality that is not permitted even among the Gentiles, so that someone is cohabiting with his father’s wife. And you are proud! Shouldn’t you have been deeply sorrowful instead and removed the one who did this from among you? Femi now decided he was in the wrong church when he witnessed two ladies in his pastor’s office arguing over a man. One of them claimed the other stole him from her. Femi was surprised that in the presence of their pastor, the two ladies were not even ashamed of the fact that they were both sleeping with the man in question. You see, their pastor had started teaching certain new doctrines concerning ‘grace’, and he had subscribed to the “once saved always saved” doctrine. A doctrine that is nothing but a concoction of half-truths and whole lies. Whenever you see believers unashamedly walking in immorality or any other sin in any Christian community, it is a sign that something is terribly wrong with that Christian community. Apostle Paul was embarrassed by the behavior of the Corinthians because, despite the shameful conduct of one of them, they were still proud. They probably felt the brother’s eternal life was secure no matter what, but they were wrong. They needed to take a desperate measure in order to ensure that they do not lose that brother eternally (see 1 Cor 5:5). Go into today remembering that unrepented sin in the life a believer is not a small matter in the sight of God. We are to lay aside weights and sins that easily entangle (see Heb 12:1). We are never to use grace as an excuse to continue in sin (see Rom 6:1-2). —SD Abraham Bible in 1 Year: I Thessalonians 4-5 (in today’s audio) To start getting Streamglobe Devotional Text & Audio on your WhatsApp, join our WhatsApp Group Here☞ https://chat.whatsapp.com/6jUj1xYszMUG0f1vXtObwQ Or Join Our Telegram Group☞ https://t.me/streamglobe1 Download Today’s Audio☞ http://bit.ly/audio1721 Get sermons here☞ streamglobe.org/34 Streamglobe is interdenominational. THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL

One of the most remarkable things about true faith in the Lord Jesus is the power it produces. I have seen drug addicts delivered from their addiction because of the power of the cross. I have seen very vile sinners transformed into holy saints because of the power of the cross. People who everyone (including their family members) gave up on have become useful members of their families and societies because of the power of the cross. But this power is only released when people receive the kingdom of God and not merely a gospel that excludes the kingdom life. When people receive a gospel that excludes repentance and submission to the authority of Christ, what they received is not the gospel of the kingdom of the kingdom of God but merely exciting but idle talk, and the power of God does not accompany that kind of gospel. But when the gospel of the kingdom is preached, the power of Christ is deployed to bring people out of the domain of darkness into the kingdom of Christ. Certain arrogant teachers arose in the Corinthian church (see 1Cor 4:19), and these teachers preached a gospel that excluded the kingdom of God. They were partly responsible for the sorry state of the Corinthian church when Paul penned 1 Corinthians. He had to admonish the church about the conduct of those who inherit the kingdom of God (see 1 Cor 6:9-10). Go into today remembering that the gospel of the kingdom of God is one that establishes righteousness in the life of the believer, peace with God and with his neighbors, and is one that celebrates the Holy Ghost (see Rom 14:17). —SD Abraham Bible in 1 Year: Luke 23-24 (in today’s audio) Get sermons here☞ streamglobe.org/34 Streamglobe is interdenominational. GUARD AGAINST GREED

His forefathers were idol worshipers, and they left a legacy of misery and generational curses for their children. After he accepted the Lord Jesus, he wanted to walk in his freedom in Christ. This he did through knowledge (see John 8: 31-32). After learning of his family’s history of idolatry, he hated idolatry with passion. He wanted to serve God and God alone because he wanted to leave a legacy of blessings for his children. One of the undeniable manifestations of the power of the gospel is deliverance from the stranglehold of generational curses and limitations. Many cases, especially in Africa, one manifestation of such curses is poverty and reproach. When a person who was under the dominion of such curses receives the gospel, he receives deliverance and will be free to live an unlimited life; manifesting his potential and being a blessing to his generation. This is one of the reasons the gospel is called by some ‘the Gospel of Prosperity’. It delivers people from poverty and brings them into the prosperity of God. But prosperity and financial upliftment are not the main thrust of the gospel message, the Kingdom of God is. So when people lose focus of the kingdom of God and begin to focus on worldly riches, they become covetous and begin to serve mammon rather serving God (see Matt 6:24). This is idolatry. Remember that idolatry eventually brings people under the power of curses. Go into today guarding your heart against all forms of greed. Greed is a spiritual disease that brings people under the authority of Mammon—the god of this world. —SD Abraham Bible in 1 Year: Ezekiel 37-42 (in today’s audio) Noy yet saved? [16] And they buried him in the city of David among the kings, because he had done good in Israel, both toward God, and toward his house. Imagine you’re given the title “Commander in Chief” for a day, just because you trained the president of your country in school? It would be your crowning achievement as a citizen and you can be sure that you’ll be included in the history books. The man Jehoiada was a priest. He wasn’t a king, nor was he from the lineage of kings in Israel, yet at his death, he was buried among kings. Whereas some, including the king whom he groomed, didn’t receive this honor (2 Chron 21:16-20, 24:24-25). The opportunity to grab power came, yet Jehoiada chose to groom a young king of age seven to establish reforms that made Israel a nation to serve God. As a question, who are you mentoring to be a leader and how do you feel if you aren’t the leader? Read Apostle Paul’s stance (1 Cor 4:8-15, Phil 4:1). We mustn’t be envious because as citizens in God’s kingdom, we are called to be kings and priests. We perform these two roles concurrently; turning others to Christ as priests and enforcing His Authority over the enemy on earth as kings (Rev 1:6, Mk 16:15-18). We must understand that God’s assignment for each one of us differs at various points, and all cannot be the head at the same time. However, if we faithfully perform our role in God’s plan to help others become who God wants them to be, we will be honored (Dan 12:3). Commit to being humble and honest in making disciples for Christ and as you faithfully fulfill this calling, you’ll undoubtedly receive a crown of life at the Lord’s appearing (2 Tim 4:7-8, 1 Pet 5:4). —Chibo E.C. But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power. Pastor Jide: stop listening to those pastors, they don’t understand the gospel. They only minister condemnation and death. Segun: But Pastor, these pastors are the ones who brought the gospel to us with great power from God and caused our entire communities to turn from idols to Christ Jesus. How come you keep saying these same people do not understand the gospel? Segun observed that pastor Jide had no real power in his ministry to make disciples, but he claimed everyone else was wrong and he was right. When Apostle Paul left the Corinthians and moved on to the next mission field, some other apostles like Apollos graciously went to Corinth to help water what Paul had already planted. But there were also other teachers who arose, and these teachers felt they had an understanding of the gospel contrary to what was preached by Paul, Apollos and the other apostles of the Lord. One thing characterized these teachers, they were full of words but no power. And they were puffed up but had no real spiritual authority. Today, such teachers have arisen in the church. They criticize everyone who does not subscribe to their warped version of the gospel. They are arrogant and have little regard for scriptures (except those that appear to support their doctrines). These teachers are the worst thing that can happen to any true believers who is not yet spiritually mature. Go into today asking the Lord to deliver the church in your nation from false teachers. Because Caleb grew up in a very racist community, his confidence in life came from the fact that he was from a particular race, and he saw all other races as inferior. Because of this mindset, he could not advance in the kingdom of God the way he desired. He wondered why the miracle-working power of God was not present in his ministry even though he had had encounters with the Lord. The Lord graciously revealed to him that as long as he still defined himself from the standpoint of his fleshly identity, he wouldn’t be able to fulfill his destiny that is tied to his divine identity. Yesterday, we saw that except a believer overcomes his fleshly identity and ways, his encounters and blessings with God may not make much difference in his daily life. Every other encounter Jacob with God would have been for his growth if he had utilized the first appropriately. Because of this lack of understanding, he suffered 21 years of hard labor and pain. Every unnecessary labor in your life will end today if you will let your identity in Christ dominate your life from today. Unlike Jacob, Saul asked this question when he had his encounter with the Lord, he asked: ‘what wilt thou have me to do?’ see Acts 9:6 (KJV). It was his obedience to the Lord’s response that launched him into his glorious destiny. Go into today remembering that the world desperately awaits the manifestation of the sons of God like you (Romans 8:19). After Jacob had stolen the blessing from Esau his brother, he had to run for his life. Even though he had the blessing and God’s Covenant Presence, he never walked in this reality but lived a troubled life until he had the encounter that brought him into his divine Identify. This happened when for the first time, he acknowledged his sinful ways reflected in the name and identify he was known by. One of the meanings ascribed to the name Jacob is supplanter, and Jacob lived up that unrighteous reputation. But when he received a new name and identity from the Lord, his future and destiny was no more laden with uncertainty but with the blessing that produced God’s firstborn nation. Like Jacob, many have encountered God, but because they have not conquered their fleshly identity, they are still very limited and oppressed. God revealed himself to Jacob in Bethel (Gen 28:12), but he continued life as a troubled man until he confessed his old identity and received his new identify from God (see Genesis 32:27-28). Many Born again, Holy Ghost filled, tongue talking believers with many heavenly encounters have found that their lives do not reveal the glory and fruitfulness of a blessed life. What might be wrong? For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach everywhere in every church. After Jide became a believer in the Lord Jesus, he found it very difficult to submit to anybody. Because he was very intelligent, he started reading the bible from cover to cover and memorized a great part of it. Many times, he did not see the need to go to church because he felt he already knew what the pastor was going to teach. He was not accountable to anyone, not even the person through whom the gospel came to him. This was the reason Jide was not growing the way he should. He was still a very weak and vulnerable believer. His heart was still full of many works of the flesh like pride, greed, lust, and selfishness. One of the attributes of believers who have truly yielded themselves to the Lordship of Jesus is submission to one another in the fear of the Lord (see Ephesians 5:21). God has placed people ahead of us in the faith, and we are expected to follow their example in righteousness, faith, and good deeds. There are many things we learn by simply being followers of those who have gone ahead of us in the faith. These things would have taken us much longer to discover on our own. Go into today remembering that a great part of the [power producing] virtues and disciplines of our faith is learned by imitating those who have gone ahead of us in the faith (see Hebrews 6:12).
