THE LOST CONNECTION

Get Today’s Audio☞ bit.ly/aud1772 1 John 14:6 (KJV) “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” We (humans) were created not to die. We couldn’t die as long as we were connected to our source(God); the disruption of this connection is what produces death. Jesus came to reconnect us to our source. Anyone who connects to God through him will not die the second death (eternal separation from God). 1 Corinthians 15:45 (NET): So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living person”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit. Job 12:16 (KJV): With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his. When you come to God through the Lord Jesus, the deceiver losses his power over you and you are no longer the deceived.  Knowing that man’s greatest need is to be reconnected to His creator, over the years, the devil has proposed many futile ways claiming to connect people to their source, each culminating in a religion. He knows that as long as humans stay disconnected from God, he’ll continue to have power over them. In 1 John 14:6(KJV), Jesus says ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me.” Search through the religious books and you will never find a reprint of this truth, it is ascribed to Jesus Christ and Him alone. Go into today determined to seek and know Jesus better because in Him lays your sustainability. If you have not accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, do so today and be free from the power of death. Not yet saved? Follow this link☞ streamglobe.org/33—Dr. Emmanuel James. DISCERNING THE BODY OF CHRIST 2

Get Today’s Audio☞ bit.ly/aud1771 1 Corinthians 11:29-30 (KJV) For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. Freda was so sick that it was clear to her that she might die. She had walked in divine health and healing before but did not understand why this time, the sickness did not seem to respond to her prayers. Through the ministry of a prophet, she discovered that she was afflicted because of the way she failed to discern the Lord’s body. She was an expert at publicly bringing down, criticizing and condemning ministers of the gospel she perceived were airing in one way or another. She did not realize that even though some of the ministers she criticized were wrong, her methods and approach was unacceptable.Children of God don’t rejoice and publicly criticize matters that are a source of grief to the Lord. We don’t take our disputes to the public space and bring down one another. We are not allowed as brethren to take our disputes to public court before unbelievers (see 1 Corinthians 6:1). Why do some think we can take our matters as brethren to the public court of opinions? Christ is the head, the Church is His body. When any part of the body is sick or in pain, other parts of the body may not feel it, but the head does. But when other parts rejoice when the head is in pain, it is because they do not rightly discern the body, and may in effect disconnect themselves from that which the head supplies. No individual part of the body can effectively continue to function without the other parts of the body. Likewise, no believer can be effective without other believers. It is suicidal to think that you are good enough as a ministry without the other ministries. We may differ in our denominations of worship, gifts, offices, and approaches, but if we have the same Lord, we are all brethren and we should walk with this knowledge. Go into today knowing that to be a true ambassador of Christ, you must live by the words of Christ in 1 Corinthians 12:26 “And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.” —Emmanuel James & SD Abraham Bible in 1 Year: Philemon (in today’s audio) To start getting Streamglobe Devotional Text & Audio on your WhatsApp, join our WhatsApp Group Here☞ https://chat.whatsapp.com/2Q746K7zdL6J8IbTfCfEEF Not born again? DISCERNING THE BODY OF CHRIST 1

Get Today’s Audio☞ bit.ly/aud1770 1 Corinthians 11:29-30 (KJV)For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. We have all been baptized into the same baptism by the same Spirit, however, His manifestations through us differ. Ephesians 4:4-5 (KJV), “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” A measure of grace has been given to each of us as members of the body, but in the body lays the fullness of all grace. Because what has been given to us as individuals is a measure, to be effective in our calling we need to partake of the fullness. 1 Corinthians 12:27 (KJV), “Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.” “Now here is what I am trying to say: All of you together are the one body of Christ and each of you is a separate and necessary part of it.” 1 Co 12:27 (TLB) 1 Corinthians 12:27 (KJV), “And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be feebler, are necessary: And those members of the body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.” You see, every believer, office, and gift is important to God. Go into today remembering that, you are a part of the body of Christ (The Church). You are important to the body (Church) and the head (Christ). HOW DO WE TREAT EACH OTHER 2?

Get Today’s Audio☞ bit.ly/aud1769 Listen to the audio for further explanations on today’s topic 1 Corinthians 8:2-3 (NET) But if someone loves God, he is known by God. Mrs. Anderson was ready to do whatever she could to help her late friend’s children. She sold one of her cars to send two of them to the university. Before her friend and husband died in a motor accident, she didn’t really know their children, but only saw their pictures and knew their ages. The love she poured on those children after they lost their parents was because of the love she had for her friend. One thing the Holy Spirit does in the heart of any true believer is to plant the love of God there (see Romans 5:5). This love manifests in the way we treat God’s children. It cannot be hidden. A person cannot truly know God without loving God. Knowing God is to love God. God’s love is contagious and it compels us to love (2 Corinthians 5:14). It compels us to obey His commandments. It constrains us from fleshly excesses, etc. Anyone who does not love God does not truly know Him. The more we grow in the knowledge of God, the more we love Him and want to please Him. Those who do not care about how the Lord feels do not really know and Love Him. Those who do not love God do not know God and are not known by God. On judgment day, some will be told by the Lord that ‘I never knew you’ (see Matthew 7:23). They would think the Lord knew them because they once said Jesus is their Lord, but they did not truly know Him and love Him. It showed in the way they lived their lives in lawlessness. in 1 Corinthians 16:22 (NET), Apostle Paul uses these strong words ‘let anyone who has no love for the Lord be accursed…’ Why would He use such strong language for certain members of the church? Because any member of that Church who did not love the Lord was not one of the fold. He was most likely a wolf in sheep clothing. And we know what wolves do to sheep. Go into today remembering that those who love God obey Him. And all things work together for the good of those who love God(see Romans 8:28). —Pastor SD Abraham Bible in 1 Year: Psalms 108-110 (in today’s audio) To start getting Streamglobe Devotional Text & Audio on your WhatsApp, join our WhatsApp Group Here☞ https://chat.whatsapp.com/AXuYZf5XlRk6qckbho4qGn Not born again? HOW WE TREAT EACH OTHER

Get Today’s Audio☞ bit.ly/aud1768 Listen to the audio for further explanations on today’s topic 1 Corinthians 8:12 (NET) If you sin against your brothers or sisters in this way and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ. Liza observed that she was going through a season of spiritual dryness. She couldn’t understand why this was happening because as far as she knew, she did everything right. She kept to her Bible study and prayer schedule, was faithful in her donations to the church, etc. But she observed that her prayer time was becoming dry and unexciting. It was as if the Holy Spirit didn’t show up any more to empower her to pray. After struggling like this for days, she became particularly concerned. ‘Lord, what is wrong, why am I not experiencing your fellowship like before?’ As soon as she prayed this prayer, she felt the presence of the Lord again. She immediately knew that something was wrong. Moments later, she received a text message from one of her Christian sisters. This message detailed how hurt and offended she was by the way Liza treated her. Liza immediately understood that the problem was that she had sinned against the Lord in the way she treated this sister. She immediately repented. Jesus is really concerned about the way we treat each other as Christians. Every Christian you relate with is not just your sister or brother but is also a child of God whose heavenly father jealously cares for. It is particularly bad when more mature believers do things that become a stumbling block for weaker believers. Many believers have blocked the heavens above them because of the way they have treated their Christian brethren. Go into today remembering that God watches the way we treat each other as a measure for our faithlessness and love. If you truly love God, it would show in the way you treat His people. Dealing with so-called gods 2

Get Today’s Audio☞ bit.ly/aud1767 Listen to the audio for further explanations on today’s topic Luke 10:19 (KJV)Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Amaka grew up in a community where everyone was afraid of the gods because certain things had happened in the past to invoke such fear. After Amaka accepted the Lord Jesus and started becoming discipled in the way of the truth, one truth that took time for her to fully understand was that the gods in her town did not have any power over her; that she was raised with Christ far above them and all principalities and powers(see Ephesians 2:6, 1:21). One evening, as she was going to fellowship, she mistakenly stepped on a Charm dropped on the ground. Normally, if anyone steps on such, they would become fatally ill if they didn’t do certain rituals. But as soon as she stepped on that charm, she knew the power behind it was destroyed. Nothing bad happened to her and she never did any ritual. This sign was the reason her mother became converted. Amaka observed that as she submitted more and more to the authority of Christ [over her], she found it more and more difficult to believe that the gods in the land had any power. As far as she was concerned, all authority belongs to Christ(Matthew 28:18), and anyone exercising any form of spiritual authority does so illegally and she had the authority to cast out every such demon by the legal authority of Christ. This she did. One reason some believers do not walk in authority over demons is because they are still afraid of them, and as long as this is the case, fear will hinder the faith required to exercise authority over demons. Go into today remembering that Christ has given you the authority to trample over all the power of the enemy. Prayer: Ask the Lord to teach you to walk in this authority. —Pastor SD Abraham Bible in 1 Year: Psalms 108-110 (in today’s audio) To start getting Streamglobe Devotional Text & Audio on your WhatsApp, join our WhatsApp Group Here☞ https://chat.whatsapp.com/2RpDqK0YhsF1ppft29zfAL Not born again? THE CHRISTIAN AND THE LAW

Get Today’s Audio☞ bit.ly/aud1765 Ephesians 2:15 (NET) …when he nullified in his flesh the law of commandments in decrees. He did this to create in himself one new man out of two, thus making peace Christians are not under the 613 laws of Moses, nor are we even under the Ten Commandments. We are under THE LAW OF CHRIST. 1 Corinthians 9:21 (KJV) To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the LAW OF CHRIST,) that I might gain them that are without law. Galatians 6:2 (KJV) Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the LAW OF CHRIST. Of the Ten Commandments, Jesus and His apostles reiterated nine and ignored that of the Sabbath (there are reasons for this, but that’s not our topic today). The Lord gave other instructions that were not captured by the Law of Moses. Instructions like ‘turn the other cheek’ or ‘do not repay evil for evil’, etc, were not part of the Ten Commandments, but are part of the commandments of Christ. Anyone who has accepted Christ as His Lord will obey His commandments. For those who love him keep His commandments (see John 14:15, John 14:21, John 15:10). As for the matter of tithing, it is the prerogative of your church assembly. If they pay tithes in your church assembly, then you should pay tithes. Just as with other matters like dress codes, you should obey the rules of your church assembly. And yes, it is rebellion (even before God) when a Christian disobeys the rules of his church assembly if those rules are not in violation of the law of Christ. The last time I checked, tithing didn’t violate any commandment of Christ. As a matter of fact, a time Jesus mentioned it, He didn’t seem to discourage it (see Matthew 23:23). Go into today knowing that grace is not a license to be lawless. Grace brings people under the law of life and delivers from the law of sin and death. —Pastor SD Abraham Bible in 1 Year: Numbers 17-20 (in today’s audio) To start getting Streamglobe Devotional Text & Audio on your WhatsApp, join our WhatsApp Group Here☞ https://chat.whatsapp.com/2RpDqK0YhsF1ppft29zfAL Get sermons here☞ streamglobe.org/34 Streamglobe is nondenominational. STABILITY

Get Today’s Audio☞ bit.ly/aud1764 Proverbs 24:16 (NET) Although a righteous person may fall seven times, he gets up again, but the wicked will be brought down by calamity. Ejura was tired of the constant rise and fall experience in her walk with the Lord. It started looking to her like her spiritual life was going in circles. There were many things that the Lord had spoken to her concerning life and ministry, but it appeared that her spiritual instability hindering them from coming to fruition. A day came that she became totally tired of it all and decided to discuss her frustration with her discipler. He discerned that she was now getting discouraged and wondering if God still loved her because of all her failures. He took time to help her understand that the fact that she had fallen did not mean God no longer loved her. He helped her see that there were demons delegated to frustrate believers and cause them to fall and not rise again. But that it was a miracle and the work of God’s great love and grace that has ensured that she rose again each time. He went ahead to show her that there was a difference between the works of the flesh and the manipulation of demons, that if against a believer’s will, she appears to be in bondage to any work of the flesh, a demon is usually involved. That while the remedy for the flesh is the cross, the remedy for demons is expulsion by the authority of Christ. He continued by telling her that one reason many believers keep rising and falling is that ‘the zeal of God’s house has not consumed them’. They are not yet consumed by the work of God such that they know they cannot afford to keep falling. Go into today remembering that anyone in Christ is free indeed. If there appears to be any bondage in your life keeping you from spiritual stability, you have the authority to expel demons and walk in constant spiritual liberty. Source: Devotional

KNOWLEDGE AND HUMILITY

Get Today’s Audio☞ bit.ly/aud1763 1 Corinthians 8:2 (NET) If someone thinks he knows something, he does not yet know to the degree that he needs to know. I remember many years ago when I felt I knew something because I had read the Bible from cover to cover and had a few revelations here and there. But the truth was that I really didn’t know as needed to know. Today, I look back and see how devoid of knowledge and understanding I was back then. I knew so little, but I felt I knew something. After learning much more and growing, I now know that there is still so much to learn. One of my biggest and most sincere prayers today is ‘Lord, help me know you more’. I know of believers who do not read books and would never be caught reading a daily devotional because they believe they know God more than to read what others have to say about Him. Such a mindset is simply an indication that they do not know God to the degree they need to know Him. For every season of your life, there is a degree of the knowledge of God that is required. This knowledge corresponds to your spiritual strength. Go into today knowing that if you believe you know all that you need to know, it is a sign that you do not know to the degree that you need to know. That is a dangerous place to be. Prayer: ask the Lord to deliver you from all pride and help you continually grow in your knowledge of Him. —Pastor SD Abraham Bible in 1 Year: John 13-15 (in today’s audio) To start getting Streamglobe Devotional Text & Audio on your WhatsApp, join our WhatsApp Group Here☞ https://chat.whatsapp.com/2RpDqK0YhsF1ppft29zfAL Not yet saved?
