After Darrel read this Bible verse, he felt quite disturbed because all his life as a believer, he had never really been persecuted for his faith. He was born into a secular country where there was freedom of religion and no one was overtly persecuted for their faith. He thought within himself that ‘does this mean I will not be counted among those who would reign with the Lord when He returns because I have never suffered with Him?’ While he meditated on this, the Holy Spirit helped him remember the times he had been mocked and sidelined in the office because he refused to compromise his faith. He remembered the times he felt alone and almost rejected because he accepted the Lord Jesus and his old friends now despised him. He also remembered the times he had the opportunity to make fast money but wouldn’t because of his faith, and he looked like a fool to many(even so-called Christians). The Holy Spirit reminded him that while he went through all of that, the Lord was with Him to Comfort him, that was why he could go through such seasons and come out victorious. In Philippians 3:10, Apostle Paul said: “that I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His suffering…” There is a depth of knowledge of God that is accessed when we have gone through ‘stuff’ because of our faith in Christ. I believe one reason why saints who overcome(see Revelation 3:21) have the destiny to sit on the throne of Christ with Him [and reign over all God’s creation with Him] is that our fragile lives here on earth give us certain privileges to know God in ways that even angels might not be able to know Him. We have the privilege of being able to say “I suffered with Him”. You know that when you have a faithful friend you suffered with when things were tough, such a friend would have a special place in your heart, much more than the new friends you made when things became easy and abundant. Go into today remembering that if you truly want to live for Christ and refuse to compromise your faith in this corrupt world, it will fight back. When the world fights back and you passed through unpleasantness that you normally wouldn’t have faced if you were an unbeliever, that suffering you passed through because of your faith counts in heaven. Prayer: Lord, help me know you more and walk more in your power. Amen. Want to be saved? They Loved Not Their Lives

Revelation 12:11 (KJV)  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.   A prominent Christian leader in my country was confronted by terrorists and eventually beheaded. He was asked to deny his faith in Christ in a video clip that became public, but he refused and was killed because of his faith in Christ Jesus. According to scripture, Persecution, and martyrdom will increase as the day approaches. Luke 21:16-17 (KJV)  And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake. Matthew 24:6-9 (KJV)  And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. Matthew 24:10-13 (KJV)  And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. The only way to survive in the last days is to be ready to live, suffer, and even die for Jesus just in case it gets to that. Your conviction must be clear and free of ambiguities; you cannot love the world and yet love Jesus; you will have to choose between the two. Many of the believers and apostles of old who were martyred have secured for themselves a level of eternal glory that is unparalleled (see Revelation 2:10). Those who denied Christ during their time have also died, but do not share in their level of glory. Go into today knowing that, ‘‘he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved”. The Gifts of God

Romans 11:29 (KJV) For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. When Kemi was baptized in the Holy Ghost, she was so excited because she received the gift of tongues. She could now pray in tongues. But she did not realize that the gifts of God are without repentance. There was a time she walked in the flesh and outside the will of God, and she thought she had lost the gift and the ability to pray in the spirit. But she was wrong. The devil told her that lie because he did not want her praying in the Holy Spirit and building up herself (see Jude 1:20). Because she believed that lie, it appeared that she could no longer pray in tongues. But when her eyes opened and she understood that God is not one to give you a gift and then collect it back, she knew she had not lost her gift from the Holy spirit. There are some that have been deceived to believe that they have lost their salvation because of something they did or something they did not do. Your salvation is a gift; it is not something you earned. Ephesians 2:8 says: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this is not from yourselves, IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD. If you truly repent of your sins, God will forgive and accept you. The devil deceives people to think they have lost the gift of salvation so that they will lose the faith that makes them saved. If you see anyone who left the faith, it was not because God rejected them, it was because they rejected God and stopped believing (see John 6:37). Go into today remembering that your salvation and any other gift you have received from God is eternal. Ask the Lord to help you use your gifts for the purpose He gave them to you. Not saved? Pass On The Blessing

2 Timothy 1:5 (NET) I recall your sincere faith that was alive first in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice, and I am sure is in you. Ladan realized that his family members were under the power of a curse. From gathering information, he realized that it has been so in his family from the time of his great-grandparents. He didn’t understand how such curses worked, but he was determined to break every ancestral curse in his life and not to pass down any curse but blessings to his children. As he started to pray [and fast] fervently concerning this, one of the first things he received was that there has been a demonic altar set up that has been working against his family. This altar created a demonic civilization that his family unknowingly subscribed to. That was why all the young men and women in the family were very promiscuous and proud. He was instructed that if he destroys a demonic altar and its civilization, he would have to replace that altar with the kingdom of Christ and His righteousness, or his effort would be futile. This meant he would have to consciously and doggedly lead his household in the way of the Lord. His children would know the scriptures even before they know their books. He would institute traditions in his household that engender the flow of God’s grace and the prosperity of God’s word. We can see from today’s Bible text that timothy’s faith (which is the greatest blessing) was passed down to him. If an ancestor of yours could cut covenant with demons and leverage his entire bloodline to demonic control, you as a child of God can destroy such covenants and institute the blessing of God into your family. Go into today determined to introduce generational blessings into your family by walking in the covenant of life and peace that is in Christ Jesus. Want to be saved? Interactive Bible Study Manual 8

Theme: Marriage, Divorce, Remarriage and Forgiveness. Topic: Marriage as God intended Text: Genesis 2:18 INTRODUCTION Marriage was initiated by God. It was God’s idea not man’s. For it to be successful, the guidelines outlined by God in the scriptures must be followed. Anybody who tries to break the laws of God will end up breaking himself (or herself) and proving that the word of God is true. This also applies to those who try to break God’s laws regarding marriage. After the fall, a lot of things in the world became perverted including the institution of marriage. Some of these perversions came to be accepted as the norm within certain cycles including some Christian cycles. Our aim in this series of studies is to look at the subject of marriage as God originally intended and also correct some of the wrong concepts of marriage using the scripture as our guide. Pass On Wisdom

2 Timothy 3:15 (NLT) You have been taught the holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus. Many successful people in life can be traced to a mother who brought her child up to be a success; a mother who prayed for and supported her child when no one else would. But there are some mothers that would not only be thanked on earth when the greatest awards and rewards on earth are given to their children, these mothers would also be thanked in the life to come when their sons and daughters receive the greatest rewards of all time and eternity. Timothy was one of such people whose mother not only taught him about life and human wisdom but also taught him the Holy Scriptures that gave him the wisdom to receive salvation. This is the greatest thing any parent can give to their children. The child is the one who will ultimately make his decision whether to follow the Lord or not. But what a Christian parent can do is to teach their children the word of the Lord and be an example of the things they teach. They should also lead their children to consciously accept Christ when they are old enough to understand what that means. The word of God in their hearts will lead them on the path of wisdom that will make them saved, not because their parents instructed them so, but because they too can see the truth for themselves. Go into today remembering that the greatest thing you can do for someone is to facilitate his salvation from eternal death to eternal life. Not saved? Click here ☞ www.streamglobe.org/33 -Pst.
