As a businessman, Mayowa was also a very effective prophet and evangelist to people he had personal dealings with. He knew how to make the most of opportunities, and he was wise in the way he did this. He understood that he was on a mission in the marketplace, so he was very careful with the things he said. He ensured that his words were always seasoned with salt; he spoke no idle words, but spoke well calculated words that wisely conveyed the wisdom (salt) of God’s kingdom. He also had a very attractive and gracious personality. People who dealt with him were interested in what he had to say because of this. Having the pilgrim’s mindset was the reason Mayowa was not subdued by the corruption and love of mammon he met in the ‘marketplace’. As believers in Christ Jesus, one mentality we must always have is that we are pilgrims in this world, and no matter where God has placed us, we are representatives of Christ. This is our first and most important assignment. It even trumps making money for the businessman. This is the only way to be effective in fulfilling our kingdom mandate and assignments. Many have failed because they forgot their first identity and assignment in the marketplace. As you go into today, remember that you have been entrusted with the grace to represent Christ wherever He has placed you. Prayer: Lord, please help me represent you well in my place of work. Amen. -SD Abraham Get AUDIO SERMONS here☞ http://bit.ly/SERmons Yearly Bible Reading: Job 9-10 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is Interdenominational & Nondenominational. And that You are concerned about him? “And that You examine him every morning And try and test him every moment? Lying on the operating table was a man whose life hung in the balance with a deadly tumor. Then came along the surgeon, who with his surgical and examination tools, removed the tumor under the theatre lights. The operation lasted for two hours and was a success. After waking up from surgery, the now relieved man was immensely grateful and sincerely thanked the surgeon for helping him have a second chance. God visits us while we are yet sleeping and like the surgeon, He most times would find tumors and ugliness in our lives that many have died and not woken up from. He didn’t allow us to perish like we deserve but instead showed has us Love, Mercy and Faithfulness (Psalm 103:8-12, Lamentations 3:22-23). These are some of His tools with which He visits and checks up on us every morning through the light of His Word. One of the reasons people are ungrateful in life and wake up each day without a word of gratitude to God is because they do not know what He has done for them. While He is being mindful of them, they deliberately ignore Him (Psalm 115:12). It is pride and lack of respect if we wake up in the morning without acknowledging our earthly parents, how much more our heavenly Father? Today, always remember each time you wake up, what Jesus has done for you, in giving you another chance to a new life and show Him your gratitude (Psalm 103:1-5). -Chibo E.C. If the gift is prophecy, that individual must use it in proportion to his faith. Mayowa believed that God had called him to be a prophet because he had prophetic gifts. As he became closer to the Lord, it became clearer to him that he was not called to the pulpit, but to use his anointing in the marketplace and represent Christ there. He was a businessman, and he would use his prophetic grace to understand business trends and patterns. He would attend business meetings with people deeply involved in the occult, but they would not be able to subdue him. In a matter of six years, he dominated his industry. And this was because of the grace of God upon his life. The Lord made him very great because the Lord wanted him to become a policymaker in his country through his business influence. Politicians would seek his consent before making certain decisions in the land because of his influence. One big mistake believers make is thinking that the anointing of God upon their lives is strictly meant for Church ministry. Daniel got to the point he got to in government because of the anointing of God upon his life. Jacob became a successful businessman because of the anointing of God upon his life (Gen 31:10-11). David was a successful king who never lost a war because of the anointing of God upon his life. Joseph ascended to the highest office in the land because of the anointing. Go into today remembering that as believers, we are agents for the advancement of God’s kingdom wherever He has placed us. It is time for us to start taking advantage of the anointing of God in every area and conquering territories for God. Prayer: Ask the Lord to help you always represent Him well. -Pastor SD Abraham Yearly Bible Reading: Joshua 21-24 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is Interdenominational & Nondenominational. THE MINISTRY OF ENCOURAGEMENT

Click Here to join ☞ https://chat.whatsapp.com/7E3RLKaHfOfETvJspgPrah Audio☞ http://bit.ly/aud1537 Romans 15:5 NIVMay the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had Marathon races are a test of endurance. Due to their long distance requirement, they are run on roads. Unlike races in the stadium, their participants or marathoners are in close proximity to the spectators and can interact with them. Apart from being cheered on by the spectators, they also receive on numerous occasions among other things, water-soaked sponges and cups of liquid refreshments for their encouragement, till they reach the finish line. From our Bible text, God Himself heads the Ministry of Encouragement as the Chief Encourager. He doesn’t just stand at the finish line to receive us, but runs alongside us throughout our Christian race, urging and supplying us with all the grace needed for us to finish strong. He encourages us mainly through the pure, cleansing and refreshing water of His Word (Romans 15:4, Ephesians 5:26). God desires our active involvement in this special ministry just like Barnabas in the Bible who lived out his own name, meaning ‘Son of Encouragement’ (Acts 4:36) by the sale of his landed property to support the church (Acts 4:37), mediating the acceptance of Paul (a former persecutor of believers), (Acts 9:26-27) and spurring the growth of the Gentile church (Acts 11:22-24). We, in turn, must also encourage others who are becoming weak in life’s race just as Christ has done for us (Romans 15:1-3). Go into today, always ready to be an encouragement to those who are down and weak, through kind words and actions. Truly, it has its rewards (Galatians 6:9-10). -Chibo E.C. PRAYER ALERT
* Psalm 119:35 “Make me walk along the path of Your commands, for that is where my happiness is found.” * Bring an offering of thanksgiving before the Lord for bringing you into a new month. * Bless the name of the Lord for the sweetness of His word. * As I go into this new month, Lord, make me walk along the path of Your commands. * Today I declare; God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; He also has become my salvation. * Again I declare, this month my delight is in the word of the Lord, that is where my happiness is found. Therefore with joy, I draw water out of the well of salvation. * Give the Lord thanks. *MAY YOU ALWAYS HAVE GRACE TO PRAY. AMEN* www.streamglobe.org
THE ROD OF GOD

One of the shepherd’s most important items is his rod. Though ordinary, he uses it quite efficiently to lead and control his flock, protect himself and his flock from thieves or wild animals, leans on it for support when tired, etc. It is somewhat inseparable to the identity of a shepherd and so most times he depends on it for survival. In life, there are things which represent the shepherd’s rod to us. It could be race, family, wealth, nationality, education, creed, talents, cultural heritage, etc. Many, unfortunately, attach too much importance to these things that they miss their true purpose. Even if one is favored by all of these things, a life without Jesus is ultimately a life of unfulfilled potential. Looking at the life of Moses in Exodus 4:2, the rod, he held was initially an ordinary stick, but in verse 20, after casting it down in obedience to God, it became ‘The rod of God’. Through it, Moses performed great miracles (see Exodus 14:16, 21-28). As believers, we mustn’t hold back from God certain aspects of our lives. Everything we have must be cast down on God’s altar of sacrifice first, and then afterward, God through those things committed to Him can use us for His mighty works. Like Goliath discovered in 1Samuel 17:43-51, the kingdom of darkness is always defeated by the believer who carries in him Christ (the rod of God (Isaiah 11:1-10)) and who through Him has become God’s war hammer (Jeremiah 51:20-23). He will not fear or be intimidated by one who carries an ordinary stick! Go into today walking in victory over all of life’s challenging and death valleys (Psalm 23:4) because you carry the rod of God. -Chibo E.C. WHAT IS MY MINISTRY? 2

Click Here to join ☞ https://chat.whatsapp.com/5gUKj6Dowqe6oWGGaWme8O Audio☞ http://bit.ly/aud1535 Ephesians 4:11-12 (NLT)11 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12 Their responsibility is to EQUIP God’s people to do HIS WORK and build up the church, the body of Christ. I once had a conversation with a young man who had listened to me minister the word. He really felt like he needed to commit his life to serving the Lord. But I observed that the only way he thought a person could serve the Lord was to hold a microphone and preach or teach from a pulpit. I was surprised. I had to start explaining to him that he could serve the Lord without being a church minister from the pulpit, that most believers have been ordained to Minister God from a platform in the world and not from a pulpit in the church. Ananias whom the Lord sent to lay hands on Saul and open his eyes was not even an elder or a deacon at the time (see Acts 9:10-19). Priscilla and Aquila were business people (Acts 18:1-3). But today, many people with the anointing of God upon their lives believe that the anointing has to mean that they are ministers in the church. As anointed as David was, he knew he was not an itinerant prophet like Isaiah or Jeremiah. He knew his ministry in life was to be a king. Daniel, Nehemiah, Joseph and even father Abraham were not full-time prophets or preachers, they were doing what today’s Christians would call ‘circular’ jobs and businesses. They were in government and in business, yet were as anointed as they could be. Go into today remembering that you are the light of the world, not just the light of the church. -SD Abraham Get AUDIO SERMONS here☞ http://bit.ly/SERmons Yearly Bible Reading: Matthew 8-10 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is Interdenominational & Nondenominational. DEAD TO SIN, ALIVE UNTO GOD

Click Here to join ☞ https://chat.whatsapp.com/5gUKj6Dowqe6oWGGaWme8O Audio☞ http://bit.ly/aud1534 Romans 6:11 KJVLikewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. A man driving stopped to pick up a female hitchhiker who he felt was in need of a ride. Having noted her extreme modesty in dressing, he dismissed any fear of temptation. In a twist, it turned out that this lady was actually a seductress in disguise, and soon she began to touch him. Immediately, the man began to laugh and ominously declared “You’re touching a dead man”. The lady now looked confused, and seeing that the man went on to say “Now I’m taking you to where I died and was buried”, in horror she began to beg, had the car stopped, and jumped out. Unknown to this lady, the man was a pastor on his way to the church where he got saved and baptized, which he now refers to as his burial ground! Fighting on Satan’s turf and hoping to win is spiritual suicide. He is a master of the fleshly realm and as long as our flesh remains alive and responsive, we are in danger of falling. Our only way out is us dying daily to the flesh through the Word and by the help of the Holy Spirit (See Luke 9:23, Romans 8:13). Our daily confession must become “I am dead to sin and alive unto God” Friends, we are warned to always be alert to Satan’s deceptions. What may seem harmless or look innocent, might just be the devil’s trap or agent (2 Corinthians 11:14-15). However, just as a dead man doesn’t respond to people, environment or any stimulus, we also must become dead to the flesh and its sinful affections (Galatians 5:24). Go into today knowing that you’re alive and victorious in Christ and that sin should have no dominion over you (Roman 6:14).-Chibo E.C.
