BY FAITH 2
2 Corinthians 4:13 (KJV) We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak When Deji decided to stand up from the sick bed and begin to say that he was now healed, he didn’t feel healed. As a matter of fact, when he first stood up, he felt so weak that he almost fainted. But he insisted that he was now healed because he had received the word of God concerning his healing, and he believed it. This was how he received his healing in his body. One of the attributes of faith is that faith speaks (Mark 11:23). Faith also acts in accordance with what has been spoken. This is how to act in faith: When you receive the word of God concerning a situation, believe it totally and speak the word that you have received and now believe. Continue to say the word over your life until you see the manifestation of the things you have believed. Faith never gives up. One of the reasons I believe the power of life and death is in the tongue is because the tongue is the only part of the body that can declare and proclaim [the word of] faith. The tongue can also be used as an instrument to do the opposite of this. As you go into today, remember to speak the word of God over your life according to what you believe. Don’t just believe the word, speak the word over your life and expect to see the manifestation of the things you have spoken. Prayer: Father, help me to believe and speak your word over my life. Help me to see the manifestation of your promises in my life through faith. in Jesus name. Amen. -Pastor SD AbrahamAUDIO SERMONS here☞ http://bit.ly/SERmons Yearly Bible Reading: Job 17-18 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is Nondenominational. BY FAITH
Ephesians 1:3 (NET) Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ. Deji had a most unusual dream one night. In that dream, an angel appeared to him and started telling him and showing him great things concerning his future. After the angel finished what he had to say, Deji responded to the angel by saying ‘but I am very sick, and even my doctor says I am going to die’. The angel interrupted ‘you are not sick; by His stripes you were healed’. Deji responded ‘but I am sick, I am dying’. The angel said again ‘you are in Christ, no one in Christ is sick’. While the angel said this, he disappeared and Deji woke up. After meditating on this dream, Deji got up and started saying he was now well. The nurses were alarmed, but they noticed that he was now a little stronger. He requested to be discharged from the hospital the next day because he said he was now healed. Two weeks after that day, he was perfectly whole in his body. The doctors were astonished. We have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places, but how can we see the physical manifestation of the blessing in our daily experiences? It is by faith. Faith is our converter. It transfers spiritual realities into physical experiences. There must be the reality in the spirit realm for faith to be able to convert it. That’s why your faith must be based on the word of God. The word of God informs us about the provisions that God has made available in the spirit realm. Go into today desiring to discover what has been written concerning you and transferring them into this realm by faith. -Pastor SD Abraham Get AUDIO SERMONS here☞ http://bit.ly/SERmons Yearly Bible Reading: Psalms 24-26 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is Nondenominational. SAFEGUARDING YOUR HARVEST 2
1 Corinthians 14:2 KJV For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. Our battle is a battle of words. Everything in life, both animate and inanimate, responds to words. By words, God created the world. The question now is what and how do you speak? You are to speak and declare mysteries, just like when you hide things from strangers who you don’t trust by switching and speaking in your native dialect. You have been given the dialect of the Spirit to utter mysteries (Acts 19:1-6, 1Cor 14:2, Eph 6:19-20). The reason for speaking mysteries is because, in Christ, you’re entitled to a great harvest of blessings, so valuable that you’re to safeguard them in the vault of your heart, having your mind fixed on them (Phil 4:8). However, since valuables kept in vaults are usually the target of thieves, it is required that they have some sort of lock or passcodes and that all dodgy or suspicious movements around them be dealt with decisively (Prv 4:23). We now know from John 10:10 that the devil comes to steal from us whenever he listens to our unguarded speech concerning our harvest, but if we speak in mysteries, we communicate directly with God and so are able to reset or perform password encryptions on the vault containing our life’s harvest, thereby shutting the devil out. Do not give away your password by speaking only in your understanding, but also speak in mysteries, as advised in 1Cor 14:15. Speak mysteries and safeguard your harvest today by spending quality time in your privacy, praying in the Holy Ghost. -Chibo E.C. Not yet saved? SPIRITUAL LIBERTY 4
Download Audio Version☞ http://listen.streamglobe.org/Devotional%20Audio%201565.mp3 John 8:31-32 (NKJV) 31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” When David visited Chide and shared the message of the gospel with him, for the first time in his life, he understood it. He was so touched that he began to cry when he realized the sacrifice Jesus made in order to save him. He accepted Christ as his Lord and savior that day. But sadly, Chide did not continue in the word of God because he was not committed to any Christian fellowship where he would hear the word of God and grow. He attended a church where there was very little teaching of the word. Even though Chide now believed in the Lord Jesus, he was not yet free. He was still a slave to sin and to demonic limitations. The reason he was not yet free was because he was not yet a disciple indeed. The way people become disciples of Jesus is by applying themselves to the word of God and growing thereby. The Lord Jesus commanded His apostles into the world, preach and make disciples of all nations (Matt 29:19). People who believe are to be discipled. When people believe in the Lord Jesus, it is important that they are discipled. This is the way chains and yokes of sin are broken forever. Go into today knowing that after believing in the Lord Jesus, you must abide in His word and let it change the way you think (Rom 12:2). This is the only way to receive and maintain true spiritual liberty. -Pastor SD Abraham Yearly Bible Reading: Genesis 32-35 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is Nondenominational. SPIRITUAL LIBERTY 3
Audio Version☞ http://bit.ly/aud1564 2 Timothy 3:7 (KJV) Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Spiritual liberty has been paid for by the Lord Christ, but it has to be received by believers. Those who become disciples are those who can know the truth and receive this liberty (see John 8:31-32). Like those in 2 Tim 3:7, there are believers who are always learning but never able to arrive at the knowledge of the truth that brings freedom because there are things actively preventing them from this. In the case of those in 2 Tim 3:7, it was false teachers who encouraged license. In the case of the Galatians, it was false teachers who taught salvation by works. Paul was so troubled by this. He said this to the Galatians: You were running well; who prevented you from obeying the truth? (Galatians 5:7 (NET)) Unfortunately, because of false doctrines, many believers have been hindered from arriving at the knowledge of the Truth. There are basically two kinds of corrupted gospels currently actively hindering believers from attaining the knowledge of the truth. The first is the gospel of ‘works for salvation’. This tries to downplay the work of Christ for the salvation of the believer. It tells people that there are things they need to do in order to pay for their salvation. The second kind of false gospel is the gospel of license. This tries to downplay the work of the Holy Spirit in transforming the believer into the image of Christ. It suggests that believers can continue in sin because grace abounds. Go into today remembering that anyone who subscribes to any of these corrupted gospels will not come to the knowledge of the truth. He will not be free indeed, but will remain a slave to sin and all other works of the devil. -Pastor SD Abraham Yearly Bible Reading: I Corinthians 1-2 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is Nondenominational. SPIRITUAL LIBERTY 2
Download Audio Version☞ http://bit.ly/aud1563 Isaiah 10:27 (NIV) 27 In that day their burden will be lifted from your shoulders, their yoke from your neck; the yoke will be broken because you have grown so fat. As Laide started applying her heart to the word of God and allowing it transform her by the renewing of her mind, she observed that she started knowing the Lord and was now able to discern His will(Rom 12:2). She also observed that because of this, she was now too big for the chains that held her bound in the past. The yokes in her life were now broken because she had grown spiritually too fat for them. This spiritual fatness came because she had been feasting on the word of God (she continued in His word). Jesus told those who believed in Him that if they continued in His word, they would be His disciples indeed, and then they would know the truth, and the truth will set them free (see John 8:31-32). Those who continue in His word are those who are truly the Lord’s disciples, and they are the ones who can know Him who is the Truth (see John 14:6, 1 John 5:6). This knowledge brings spiritual liberty. The Truth is a reality that is only encountered in [the knowledge of] Christ. This is eternal life; it is the reality that makes all other things but shadows in the light of His presence. Go into today remembering that abiding in His word and letting it change the way you think is the way to know Him and walk in spiritual liberty. Prayer: Ask the Lord to expose you to more resources that will help you abide in His word and grow in the knowledge of The Truth. -SD Abraham Get AUDIO SERMONS here☞ http://bit.ly/SERmons Yearly Bible Reading: Matthew 20-22 (In Devotional Audio) Streamglobe is Nondenominational. SPIRITUAL LIBERTY 1
Download Audio Version☞ http://bit.ly/aud1562 John 8:31-32 (KJV) 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. What perplexed Laide was how some people who were believers and committed to the church were still under demonic yokes and ancestral bondages. For example, her uncle was a minister in a Pentecostal church, but he died mysteriously. It was later rumored in their village that he was killed by some witches who had a connection with his family. These kinds of things were happening. Laide herself believed in Jesus, but she was not truly free. Her life was a battle. Demons still had power over her. Jesus told certain Jews who believed in him that if they continued in His word, then they would be His disciples, and then they would know the truth, and the truth will set them free. Remember that Jesus introduced himself as the Truth in John 14:6 (also see John 5:6). These Jews were people who believed in Jesus already, but like Laide, they were not yet free. They were not yet free from the power of sin [and death]; they were not yet free from bondages of the past. Jesus gave them the remedy. He told them to continue in His word. This was how they would become his disciples, and only His disciples can truly know Him (the Truth; the reality). Disciples are those who have been converted from goats to sheep; they are those transformed by the renewing of their mind through the word (Rom 12:2). They are those who obey their Lord in all things. 1 John 2:4 (KJV) He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. DYNAMICS OF DECLARING GOD’S WORD
Audio Version☞ http://bit.ly/aud1561 Hebrews 4:12 (KJV) For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. I watched as a little girl interacted with their housemaid with regards to watching the television. When no one was looking, the maid who normally would not hang around in the sitting room would change the channel to a program of her choice, and if the little girl requested to watch cartoons, the maid would just hush her to keep quiet. This was the case until the little girl got fed up and went to her parents’ room. When she came out, she declared boldly “Daddy said you should change the channel to my cartoon program”. It was as though her daddy spoke. For as the words left the little girl’s mouth, the maid immediately changed the channel and quickly left the sitting room. The Greek word for “two-edged” used in qualifying God’s Word in our scripture text is “distomos”, which literally means “two mouthed”. The Word of God must flow from God’s mouth as it is written, through our own mouths for its transforming power to be physically seen in our lives or that of others. Speaking idle words will see us hushed and mocked at by the enemy, but if just like the little girl, we enter into God’s presence and by faith, declare God’s Word with authority (Isa 55:11, 2Cor 4:13), the enemy has no choice but to comply, release all that belongs to us and flee. Go into today remembering that Understanding this dynamic is crucial to our being able to enforce our rights in Christ over contrary circumstances. -Chibo E.C.
