NATIONAL TRANSFORMATION

Proverbs 14:34 (KJV) Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. Most of the top desired destinations of the world today are nations that have experienced the transforming power of Christ at some point in their history. The Western world originally drew its homogenous identity from Christian values. They were not perfect nation-states, but at least their Christianity was strong enough to influence their culture and values. Unfortunately, there’s currently a concerted effort to erode these values. Many Africans who live in Africa grew up in a culture that magnifies the powers of darkness. So much so that it is very hard to truly convince them that all authority in heaven and on earth belongs to Christ. Many believe this in their head, but they don’t really believe it in their heart. That is why in many parts of Africa, we have found a version of Christianity that lacks real power to transform lives. Any form of Christianity that does not radically affect and transform the culture and tradition of people is less than the faith that was once and for all delivered to the saints. Any Christianity that does not absolutely magnify Christ in the hearts of men is not true Christianity. It may be filled with apparent displays of power and lots of activity, but it lacks the real power of God that transforms sinners into saints. This is the reason so much religion has not brought real national transformation into certain African countries. Real Christianity brings positive desired national transformation. When this transformation happens to a nation, that nation will be exalted above other nations in the world. For righteousness exalts a nation. Go into today praying for your country. Ask that the transforming power of God’s kingdom will envelop your nation. Prayer: Heavenly Father, I ask that you send your messengers to minister toward the salvation of my nation. IT IS BY GRACE: OVERCOMING STRONGHOLDS 1

2 Corinthians 10:4- 6 (NLT) We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. Once, Folu faced a severe illness, and it seemed like he might not make it. Ola stood by his side throughout. He prayed for Folu, but he also noticed that Folu seemed to rely more on the doctor’s expertise than on the Lord’s miraculous healing power. This mindset had been a stronghold that prevented Folu from experiencing God’s grace for health and healing throughout his life. Unlike Ola, who never fell ill and never had to take medication, Folu spent a significant amount of money and time on sickness and disease. He couldn’t fully embrace God’s grace for health because of this stronghold in his mind. Many Christians are held back from embracing God’s grace for health and healing by a similar stronghold. The devil creates this stronghold by showcasing instances where people remained sick or even passed away, despite claiming to have faith in divine healing. They tend to forget that there are also cases where people didn’t recover, and in some instances, seeking medical help even led to their death. Let it be clear, I’m not discrediting medical care and healing. What I’m emphasizing is that God’s healing power is genuine. He provides supernatural health and healing that human understanding cannot fathom. Divine health should not be a rare occurrence among God’s children. Healing is the children’s bread (see Mat 15:22-29, Mark 16:18). Go into today knowing that grace for divine health is for you. The package of salvation encompasses not only your spiritual well-being but also your physical health and healing (see 1 Pet 2:24). Prayer: Lord, I ask you to dismantle every stronghold in my life. IT IS BY GRACE

Ephesians 2:8-9 (NLT) God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. When Sandra first believed in the Lord Jesus, she didn’t fully grasp the depth of God’s grace. She learned that grace meant receiving undeserved favor, and it was this favor that saved her. However, she didn’t realize that grace also meant God giving her the strength and ability to do what He asked of her. Because of this misunderstanding, Sandra struggled in her Christian journey. She was told to pray for up to an hour every day, but managing even 15 minutes felt like a challenge. Often, she found herself repeating the same prayers multiple times. A turning point came when Sandra deepened her understanding of God’s grace. Suddenly, she tapped into the Lord’s strength, enabling her to achieve things she once thought impossible. This transformation occurred as she began listening to sermons on her smartphone, a device previously used mainly for communication and entertainment. Through this, she fed her soul with substantial portions of God’s word daily, leading to a richer comprehension of His grace. Being a Christian isn’t possible without the empowering grace of God. This grace is channeled to your spirit through the Holy Spirit, who dwells within you. The more you allow the Holy Spirit to fill you, the more of God’s grace you’ll experience. This happens as you grow in your understanding of the Lord and become more like Him. Filling your heart with the words of Christ is the way this happens(. It is through grace that we are saved. It’s through grace that we encounter anything that comes from God. As you step into today, remember that your journey with God is sustained by His grace, and this grace is abundantly available to you through the Holy Spirit. Prayer: Take a moment to thank the Lord for saving you. Now, ask our heavenly Father to fill you with the Holy Spirit (see Luke 11:13).—Abraham Damilola Arigi Join our group to start getting Streamglobe Devotional Text & Audio early every day:WhatsApp: https://chat.whatsapp.com/KcS0ueW9OdOFYYPfonXAhRTelegram: https://t.me/streamglobe1 🔊Get today’s Audio Here☞ https://streamglobe.org/aud3786 Bible In 1 Year: Proverbs 16 (In today’s audio) Kindly forward this devotional to your contacts and let’s bless lives together.Listen to our edifying online radio here: https://streamglobe.radio https://listen.streamglobe.org/DevotionalAudio3786.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | Download ()Subscribe: RSS

THE FULLNESS OF GOD

Ephesians 3:19 (KJV) And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. Ola and Folu were friends from childhood. They gave their lives to Jesus at a very tender age and they grew up loving the Lord. They turned out very successful in life. Ola as a child didn’t take drugs; he believed God was able to heal him. He would always say “by his stripes I am healed”. Even when he was stung by a scorpion, he kept repeating those words. He was healed without drugs. As an adult, Ola never again fell sick. Folu on the other hand believed that once he had money to treat himself when he fell sick, the Lord healed him through the drugs. His faith in God to provide His needs was strong. Because of this Folu was very wealthy but he spent a lot treating sicknesses. Both friends chose a dimension of God and it worked for them. But there is more to God than just wealth or health. Jesus has been made the head over all things to us (see Eph 1:22). Many Christians have limited God and have suffered setbacks in certain areas of their lives. God can be everything to you if you believe Him that much. Go into today knowing that there are many more dimensions in God that you can manifest if you access them by faith. Prayer: Lord, I recognize you as Lord over all situations in my life. I stop limiting you and ask that you take over my entire life in Jesus’ name. INCLUDED IN HIM

2 Cor 5:13-16 (NET) For the love of Christ controls us, since we have concluded this, that Christ died for all; therefore all have died. 15 And he died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised Many have asked me how they can live lives controlled by the spirit. I have also asked this question several times. One very important doctrine Christians must never forget is the truth that reveals to us that we were included in Christ when He died, and because of this, we were also included in Him when He resurrected into eternal life. Understanding this truth is the secret to living a victorious life above sin. It is the secret to live a life controlled by the Spirit. Your old man of sin has been crucified with Christ, therefore it is dead. All that is left is your new man of righteousness which is actually the life of Christ. It is no longer you who lives, but Christ now lives in you. You now no longer live for your own pleasure but for God’s pleasure. Quit thinking that your life belongs to you. Know from today that your whole life now belongs to Christ. Tell yourself this truth until your mind accepts it. Because when this has happened, you will realize that your body no longer belongs to you and you will let Christ control it. This is what it means to accept Christ as your Lord. Lord means owner and controller. Go into today meditating on this truth:Gal 2:20-21[NET]: I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So the life I now live in the body, I live because of the faithfulness of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21 I do not set aside God’s grace, because if righteousness could come through the law, then Christ died for nothing!—Abraham Damilola Arigi Join our group to start getting Streamglobe Devotional Text & Audio early every day:WhatsApp: https://chat.whatsapp.com/KcS0ueW9OdOFYYPfonXAhRTelegram: https://t.me/streamglobe1 🔊Get today’s Audio Here☞ https://streamglobe.org/aud3784 Bible In 1 Year: I Chronicles 1-4 (In today’s audio) Kindly forward this devotional to your contacts and let’s bless lives together.Listen to our edifying online radio here: https://streamglobe.radio https://listen.streamglobe.org/DevotionalAudio3784.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | Download ()Subscribe: RSS

DISCERNING TEMPTATIONS

2 Cor 5:7 (NET) for we live by faith, not by sight. Jide got a promotion with a transfer. He was very happy, but his joy vanished when he remembered his work in his local church assembly. He remembered that just a few weeks ago, the Lord specifically instructed him to be faithful with his assignment in that assembly; that he was going to be launched to greater heights through his work there. Jide now knew that moving away from the city was not God’s will. He refused the promotion and was demoted because someone else had already been transferred and promoted to his current position. As Jide served the Lord in the city, he grew so much in spiritual might that diverse healings were very common in his ministry. He eventually had to resign from his job so that he could cope with the worldwide demand for his ministry. Every temptation has the goal to drag the tempted away from God’s will. That is why God never tempts us (James 1:13). We may be tempted to do what is wrong, and we can refuse. But when we are tempted to do what seems to be right, how do we discern and handle it? Let’s remember that our definition of right and wrong is not based on the world’s standards, but based on the standards of God as revealed through His word. When Jesus was tempted by the devil to do things that appeared acceptable and desirable (see Mat 4:1-11), because He had the spirit of God, He could discern and resist the temptations through God’s word. Acquainting yourself with God’s word builds up your faith, wisdom, and your discernment level. Go into today remembering that a man whose life is controlled by faith in God will also receive God’s help and guidance in everything. Prayer: Ask the Lord for grace to always walk by faith. SIN LEADING TO DEATH 2

John 15:1-2 (NET) “I am the true vine and my Father is the gardener. 2 He takes away every branch that does not bear fruit in me. He prunes every branch that bears fruit so that it will bear more fruit When Jesus spared the adulterous woman who was to be stoned to death, He did it on the premise that everyone there was guilty (see John 8:3-10). There was no point killing a woman who did what everyone was already doing. The reason why God sanctioned capital punishment in the Old Testament was so that it would prevent the virus of iniquity from spreading among His people. God’s design was that if anyone grew under the system of His Law, it would be very strange for that person to commit certain acts of rebellion like adultery and sorcery, etc. If anyone was found doing such, it proved that the person really hated God, not that the person was pressured into such acts, because the law was to create an environment that would make it strange and abnormal to perpetrate such acts. So in order to stop the virus of iniquity from spreading among God’s people, the offenders were to be killed. Yesterday, we saw that there is sin that can lead to the Lord allowing believers’ lives to be cut short (see 1 John 5:16-17). In today’s Bible text, Jesus tells us that God takes away any branch in Him that is not fruitful. This doctrine is repeated by the Lord in other places (see Mat 7:19-20, Luke 13:6-9). A Disease can make a branch that is still connected to the vine to be unfruitful. In order to prevent such diseases (of iniquity) from spreading to other branches, the gardener cuts off the unfruitful branch. Go into today examining your life to see if you have been fruitful in God’s vineyard. Are you spending your time serving God, or are you spending it serving mammon? Prayer: Heavenly Father, please have mercy on me and purge me from everything that hinders my fruitfulness. SIN LEADING TO DEATH 1

1 John 5:16-17(NLT) If you see a Christian brother or sister sinning in a way that does not lead to death, you should pray, and God will give that person life. But there is a sin that leads to death, and I am not saying you should pray for those who commit it. 17 All wicked actions are sin, but not every sin leads to death.Examine these verses: Gal 6:8-9: Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. [NLT] Rev 21:8: “But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars—their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”[NLT] It is quite clear from the scriptures that all sins, whether great or small, lead to spiritual death. What then was the Apostle of the Lord talking about in today’s Bible text? In the early church, because of sound kingdom proliferation and understanding, it was quite clear to the brethren that certain sins Christians committed (especially in rebellion) led to their physical death. Ananias and Sapphira died physically because of a wrong spirit they were trying to introduce to the church (see Acts 5:1-11). I believe this is the reason why Apostle James instructed the saints to confess their sins to one another and invite the Church elders to pray for them if they have a lingering sickness (see James 5:14-16). It was quite common knowledge in the early church that people could get very sick and even die if certain unrepented sins remained in their lives. These sins are the sins that lead to death. Go into today asking the Lord to deliver you from every sin and stubbornness. Ask the Lord to help you increase daily in spiritual understanding. Prayer: Heavenly Father, I ask for grace to walk perfectly all the days of my life. GOD’S TIME

Genesis 1:2-3(KJV) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Josh finished from the university with a very good grade. His friend Joe got employed immediately but Josh went between unemployment and underemployment for years. Even though he served God the best way he could, it seemed Josh was not getting any reward for his work. He was insulted and called names because he wouldn’t compromise his faith to get a job. There was a good job he missed because he wouldn’t lie about his age. During His period of waiting, Josh used the time he had to study and learn more of God and further grow spiritually. He also invested time in self and professional improvement. Eleven years after he graduated school, Josh got a big contract, and everything changed for good. In only a few months, Josh achieved more than all his friends put together. We can see from today’s Bible text that even though the Holy Spirit was present, the earth was void and in darkness. Does it sound contradictory? God has his calendar and there are certain things His Spirit does in us during our periods of waiting. They are usually things of preparation for the glory He wants to bring to us. Yielding to the Holy Spirit’s work of purification and preparation shortens the wait period. Go into today holding on to God. Do not let circumstances control your faith. Let your faith control your circumstances. Prayer: Thank God for what He has done and what He will do. HELD SECURELY BY THE LORD

1 John 5:18-19(NLT) We know that God’s children do not make a practice of sinning, for God’s Son holds them securely, and the evil one cannot touch them. 19 We know that we are children of God and that the world around us is under the control of the evil one. Be assured today that because you are a child of God, you are held securely by the Lord, and the evil one cannot touch you. He cannot touch your health, your finances, your relationships, your business, your mind, etc. Many Christians do not walk in this reality because they have not received a revelation of it. Most spiritual realities are experienced because people activate them through revelation knowledge. This knowledge is what produces faith, and your faith is your link to the divine realm and its benefits. If because of something you did wrong in the past, you are feeling that you are no longer worthy of God’s protection, your uncomfortable feeling is proving that you are truly a child of God. It is proving that you have indeed received a new nature in your spirit that does not [enjoy] sin. The solution is to repent and move on. Go into today remembering that you are a child of God, and because of this, the evil one cannot touch you. Prayer: Ask the Lord to empower you to walk in your new spiritual nature so that sin and guilt will no longer hinder you from experiencing the fullness of your divine nature. Say this confession: I am held securely by the Lord. The evil one cannot touch me. I am blessed by the Lord.
