All Things Belong to You
1 Corinthians 3:21-23 (NET) So then, no more boasting about mere mortals! For everything belongs to you, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future. Everything belongs to you, and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God. When Apostle Paul wrote 1 Corinthians, the church in Corinth was divided. Some said Paul was their apostle, others said Apollos was their apostle, and some others said Cephas was their apostle. Because of this, there were divisions among them. Paul made it clear to them that these divisions were simply a sign of spiritual immaturity (see 1 Cor 3:3-4). Today, there are many denominations in the global Church, and each having their teachers, apostles, etc. There is nothing wrong with denominations as long as the people realize that the church is one, and all things, including ministers of God outside their denomination, belong to them. God never planned for his saints to receive from only one kind of ministry gift (see Eph 4:11-12), but that is exactly what happens to believers who continually limit themselves to one minister of God. Such believers would not grow to their full capacity because they lack “spiritual balanced diet”. If a minister is going to be truthful and humble, at certain points he would have to admit that there are certain kinds of graces that he has not been given. Even the great apostle Paul knew that he didn’t have grace for apostleship to the Jews–that was Peter’s department (see Gal 2:8, Rom 11:13). Churches established by Paul received from the ministry of Peter, John, James, and even Jude. That was the culture of the church. Go into today remembering that all true ministers of God belong to you and you should be blessed by their unique grace if you belong to Christ. Do not limit yourself by being closed-hearted. —Abraham Damilola Arigi Bible in 1 Year: Proverbs 7 (in today’s audio) Streamglobe is interdenominational. You Belong to Christ
After experiencing the dark side of life for many years, Lamide was now humbled and open to accept the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Someone preached to her and she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. Because Lamide understood what it meant to accept Christ as her Lord, she left the house of her boyfriend and rented her own apartment. She repented of all her old foolish ways and became consecrated to the Lord. As she grew spiritually, she understood that because Christ was now her Lord, all things that belong to Christ are under her authority. When she prayed, she prayed with this mindset, and she saw the results of her prayers. The evil spell of her enemy was destroyed and she was now free to walk in her glorious destiny. Many times, believers are not powerful because they do not realize that they belong to Christ and all things are under their control because of the authority of Christ they have through submission to Him. Even the devil (the prince of this world) flees when believers who submit to the authority of Christ resist him (see James 4:7). A believer who lives in disobedience to Christ cannot command Christ’s authority because he is not submitted to that authority. Go into today remembering that you belong to Christ and because of this, all things [that belong to Christ] belong to you. Ask the Lord to teach you to walk in this reality. —Pastor Abraham Damilola Arigi Bible in 1 Year: Psalms 75-77 (in today’s audio) Download Sermons Here: www.streamglobe.org/34 Join our Telegram Group: http://streamglobe.org/join Join Our WhatsApp Group to Start Getting Streamglobe Devotional Text & Audio From us early every day. Sermon: Salvation From Damnation
A Sermon by Pastor Abraham Damilola Arigi
Wisdom From Above 2
1 Corinthians 3:20 (NET) And again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.” Lamide graduated with first-class as the best graduating student in her university. She accomplished this through diligence and wisdom. From her first week on campus, she determined what she wanted and started working towards it. By the time she graduated, she was already an expert at accomplishing her set goals. She was not easily distracted and knew how to get what she wanted. But she did not know God and despised the idea of being a ‘born again’. All her wisdom proved futile when she started dealing with enmity from the immortal realm. Her stepmother hated her more when she heard of Lamide’s success in school. She somehow believed that Lamide’s success was shielding her children from succeeding. She paid a sorcerer to cast an evil spell on Lamide. The spell worked, and with time, Lamide’s life was in disarray. She stopped making progress, made some very bad choices in life, and ended up a very unhappy person. Lamide’s wisdom could not help her because her problems were spiritually orchestrated. Anyone who only depends on human wisdom will find himself disadvantaged if he has to confront people who have just a little spiritual upper hand. But anyone who has the wisdom from above can never be disadvantaged in any situation. In all things, God works for their good (see Rom 8:28). Wisdom from above is only available to those who are in God’s kingdom. (see John 3:3). As you go into today, go for the wisdom that has relevance both in time and eternity. Prayer: Ask the Lord to give you His kind of wisdom. Wisdom From Above
1 Corinthians 3:19 (NET) For the wisdom of this age is foolishness with God. As it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness.” As a wise man according to the system of this world, Agu was very good at hustling and grabbing to get. And he thought this same method would advance him in the kingdom of God as it advanced him in the world, but he was sorely wrong. For example, during Holy Communion in church, because he was the head usher, he would insist on taking the leftover bread and wine home because he believed in the power of the communion. There was nothing wrong with this in itself, only that even at times when some people in the church could not get Holy communion because more people attended the service than expected, Agu would still take some ‘leftover’ bread and wine home. Such were his ways even in the church. But after some time, he realized that this kind of wisdom was not helping him advance in spiritual stature, and spiritual stature was what he wanted. There are many things done in the world that many have introduced into their kingdom life, but unknown to them, it is nothing but foolishness in the sight of God. The wisdom of this world is selfish, mean, self-centered, crafty, wicked, deceptive, proud, and ruthless. But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere (see James 3:17). It may not look so at the onset, but even in this world, the wisdom that comes from above is better than the wisdom of this world. It yields better fruits because God is still the owner and ruler of heaven and earth. This wisdom links His children with riches that don’t come with sorrows (Prov 10:22). —Pastor Abraham Damilola Arigi Bible in 1 Year: Leviticus 7-9 Streamglobe is Nondenominational. God’s Kingdom Authority
1 Corinthians 3:18 (NET) Guard against self-deception, each of you. If someone among you thinks he is wise in this age, let him become foolish so that he can become wise. Certain incidences had revealed to Agu that he did not have so much spiritual stature and authority in the kingdom. He knew this when he spent time with some missionaries and saw how much of Christ’s authority they walked in and even exerted over their environment. Jesus could command the storm and speak to the fig tree because of this authority. Paul could effectively be a witness for Jesus in the darkest places of the world and was dreaded by demons because of this authority. Agu now knew that even though kingdom authority is inherited, we have to grow into it. Before he became born again, he was a very wealthy man in this world and was vast in the wisdom of this world. He now wanted the greatness of the kingdom of God but was still using the wisdom of this world. Many principles in the kingdom of God are antithetical to that of the kingdom of this world. For example, Jesus says those who are great in the kingdom of God are determined by their extent of service to others, not by the extent to which people serve them (see Matt 20:25-28). But it’s the opposite in this world. Also, in the kingdom of God, it is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35), but in the kingdom of this world, it is considered more beneficial to get than to give. If a person thinks he is wise [according to the standards of this world], that wisdom is very useless and cannot take him far in the kingdom of God. If he tries to use that kind of wisdom to advance in the kingdom of God, he will realize that he is making no progress. One of the reasons we must pay attention to the ministry of the word and prayer is because this is the way God recalibrates our minds to the standards of His kingdom so we can grow. —Abraham Damilola Arigi Bible in 1 Year: Philippians 1-2 Streamglobe is Nondenominational. Predestined for Good Works 2
Ephesians 2:10 (NET) For we are his workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we may do them. After Clement received the Lord Jesus and was baptized in the Holy Ghost, as he continued to live in the spirit, he received the vision for his life and now started to live according to it. As he continued to walk with the Lord and grow, he discovered that even his shameful past was no longer a disadvantage, God fitted it into his plan such that Clement could serve God in peculiar ways that those circumstances of his past had equipped him for. One of the major works of the Holy Spirit in the heart of the believer is to give him a vision and purpose for living. We see in Acts 2:17 that when the Holy Spirit is poured out on all flesh, young men will see visions… The Holy Spirit crystallizes the vision of God concerning us in our hearts. As we begin to see God’s plan for us and understand how God has caused all things to work together for our good(see Romans 8:28), this understanding would help us live purposeful, disciplined, and guided lives. This is the natural out-working of living a vision-driven life. “But where there is no vision, people cast off restraint [and perish]”. See Proverbs 29:18. Even our Lord Jesus Christ was able to fulfill His purpose when he became flesh because He lived a vision, purpose-driven life. He is our perfect example. He endured the cross because of the vision of the joy that was set before Him (a vision of bringing many sons into glory through the power of His throne). Go into today reevaluating the vision of your life and how you’re living to fulfill it. Every Spirit-filled person should live a purpose-driven life. Prayer: Father, help me live a vision propelled, purpose-driven life. Deliver me from all spiritual blindness, in Jesus Name. Amen. —Abraham Damilola Arigi Bible in 1 Year: Luke 13-14 Streamglobe is Nondenominational. Kindly share this devotional with your contacts and let’s touch lives together. Predestined for Good Works

Ephesians 2:10 (AMPC) For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. It wasn’t until Clement accepted the Lord Jesus and was filled with the Holy Spirit that he knew his purpose for living, had a vision for life, and was now living a purpose-driven, purpose-filled life. Before this, he only lived for pleasure, and his life was empty and purposeless. In order to satisfy the emptiness of his soul and fulfill his insatiable hunger for pleasure, he was driven into drug addiction. But his mother never stopped praying for him, and his life was transformed when he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ. One of the things the infilling of the Holy Spirit does to the well-taught believer is that it would give him a vision for his life. If you study the Bible properly on the topic of predestination, you would notice that this is usually a discussion reserved for the believer in Christ(see Ephesians 1:4-5, Romans 8:28-30). Most other applications would be contradictory to clear positions of scripture concerning the will of God(1 Timothy 2:4, 2 Peter 3:9, Ezekiel 33:11). God’s predestination does not apply to those who are not yet in His house, His only plan for the sinner is reconciliation and life. From God’s point of view, sinners are dead(Colossians 2:13, Ephesians 2:1, 1 John 3:14, Genesis 2:17). They are not alive, and no one makes plans for people who are dead. Only those recreated in Christ Jesus have the capacity to walk in God’s predefined plans [that are more eternal in expression than time-based]. We see in today’s Bible verse that we who are in Christ have been predestined unto good works. Everything that you would ever become has already been planned for and arranged by God. The more you align with God’s will, the more you will find that you’re walking in the fullness of His good plans for you. Go into remembering that everything about the good life God has for you in Christ Jesus has already been properly planned and fully paid for(2 Peter 1:3). All you need to do is receive it by faith with continual thanksgiving. Prayer: Father, help me walk in faith and thanksgiving. Deliver me from all my fears. In Jesus’ name. Amen. Bible Study Outline 20
Topic: Mammon and Covetousness Text: Matthew 6:24 (KJV) “No man can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon” INTRODUCTION Money is one thing anyone living in this world encounters and must deal with. The bible also has a lot to say and warn about it. It serves some very useful purposes but also comes with some attendant pitfalls. It has a spirit; it has an allure and it has an influence that can corrupts the undiscerning. Let us examine the word together on this. DISCUSSIONS 1) What is mammon and what does it mean to serve mammon? (Matt 6:24; Luke 16:13) 2) Is there any connection between mammon and covetousness? (Luke 16:13; Ephesians 5:5; Colossians 3:5) 3) Highlight some dangers of covetousness and the love of money? (2 Peter 2:3,15; Jude 1:11; 1 Timothy 6:8-10; Proverbs 15:27) 4) What does it mean to ‘make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness’? (Luke 16:9) 5) How should a believer view and relate with money? (Luke 12:15; 1 Tim 6:6-8, 17-18; Matt 6:25-34; Psalms 65:9) CONCLUSION It is supremely important that we allow God’s word to shape our worldview. We must train ourselves to only receive and use the gift but serve only the Giver. We must be on guard that our hearts be not lured away from God, and we must be watchful that we never put our trust in mammon but always on God.
Living As Christ’s Witness

Acts 1:8 (KJV) But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Victor gained admission into a university and had to live in a compound off-campus. Unknown to him, this neighborhood was full of vices and dishonorable people. Being so young and well cultured, he could not engage the perpetrators of these vices productively. Some of them were old enough to be his parents. He however lived peaceably among them. When he announced that he was going to be leaving the compound because he had graduated, many parents in the neighborhood brought their children to him and pleaded that he prays for them. A number of them told him that they had named their children Victor because they wanted their children to turn out like him. Victor never had the opportunity to preach to many of these neighbors, his way of life however did. God is seeking witnesses who will influence their sphere for Him, even when the privilege to preach does not present itself. Merriam Webster’s dictionary defines a witness as, ‘‘one that gives evidence; specifically: one who testifies in a cause or before a judicial tribunal”. Your daily living as a child of God should give evidence to the life of Jesus. Your life should be a standard by which an unbeliever can be judged. Jesus is no longer here bodily, yet the world must see Him, else, they will be condemned. If this must happen, they will have to see Him through you. This is why God gave us His Holy Spirit. Go into today knowing that witnessing for Jesus goes beyond what you preach; it is how you live. Prayer: Lord Jesus, give me the grace to live as your witness for you.
