GOD’S PROPERTY
Download Audio Version☞ bit.ly/aud1752 1 Corinthians 6:20 (NET) For you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body. Fatima’s stepmother hated her more when she heard Fatima had accepted the Lord Jesus. Fatima’s stepmother had always hated her because Fatima was more brilliant than her children and was her father’s favorite, but this time, the hatred had gone to another level. Fatima’s stepmother planned to put strong poison in Fatima’s food. After purchasing the poison and perfecting her plan, she had a scary dream in which a man appeared to her and warned her not to poison Fatima because Fatima was now his property. Because of this warning from the Lord, Fatima’s stepmother was now afraid of Fatima. She knew she was going to be in trouble in she did anything to hurt Fatima. One reason believers enjoy supernatural divine protection is because our bodies are not their own, we have been bought with a price, and God watches over us jealously. But when believers fail to honor God with their bodies by committing sexual immorality, they transgress the spiritual order and can be exposing themselves to demonic assaults. If a believer commits sexual immorality, he defiles his body which is God’s temple, and the Holy Spirit is not comfortable in a defiled temple. Go into today remembering that you have been bought with a price. Ask the Lord to empower you to walk always in this consciousness. —SD Abraham Bible in 1 Year: I Chronicles 15-19 (in today’s audio) To start getting Streamglobe Devotional Text & Audio on your WhatsApp, join our WhatsApp Group Here☞ https://chat.whatsapp.com/6hVjJRcL6Av9fQ0LrEv9XM Want to be saved? ONE SPIRIT WITH THE LORD
Download Audio Version☞ bit.ly/aud1751 1 Corinthians 6:17 (NET) But the one united with the Lord is one spirit with him. One of the most profound privileges that can be found in the universe is the privilege to be filled with the Spirit of the living God and be of one Spirit with the Lord. Even angels do not have this privilege because they were not created in the image and likeness of God. We have the privilege of sharing in the Spirit and nature of God because we were created in God’s very image. Despite his vast experience and skill, the reason we overcome the devil in the battles of life is because of the Holy Spirit that dwells within us (see 1 John 4:4). The Holy Spirit within you is older, greater, wiser, and much more experienced than the devil. If we walk in phase with Him, we would walk in such wisdom that confounds the principalities and powers (see Ephesians 3:10). We would become canvases through which God displays dimensions of His glory that has never been known by even the fallen angels. If you follow the thought leading to today’s Bible verse in 1 Corinthians 6, you will see that one of the biggest hindrances to our oneness with the Holy Spirit is immorality. There is no sin that fights our sanctification like immorality (see 1 Thessalonians 4:3), and the devil understands that if he can constantly keep us from our communion with the Holy Spirit, he can win us. Go into today determining to abide in the Lord and let His spirit rule your life. There is no other way to be happy in Christ Jesus. Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for the grace to become one Spirit with you. Help me to do all that you have ordained for me to do because of this privilege. RAISED UP BY HIS POWER 2
Download Audio Version☞ bit.ly/aud1750 1 Corinthians 6:14-15 (KJV) And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. Montgomery was going through a series of experiences that made it clear to him that he was under the influence of a curse. His great-grandparents and grandparents were missionaries. There was indeed a generational blessing in his family, and everyone knew it. But Montgomery’s case was different. He was walking under the influence of a curse. How did this come to be? After he became born again, he found out through prophecy that he contacted the flow of curses in his life through sexual immorality with prostitutes during a season of his life. Because he had joined himself to a cursed person through immorality, he started walking in her generational curses. Clean clothes do not purify dirty clothes, but dirty clothes can pollute clean clothes. We saw previously that everything that happened to the Lord Jesus will also happen to us believers because we are members of His body. It is because we are members of the body of Christ that we share in the blessings of Abraham, and will be resurrected into glory. Anyone who truly understands this will flee sexual immorality because immorality takes a member of the body of Christ and soils it with iniquity. Because your body is now the temple of God that lives within you, sexual immorality which is a sin against your body is a sin against God’s temple. Go into today remembering that because you are a member of Body of Christ, you should walk in the blessing of Christ. Confession: I am blessed with all spiritual blessing. I am blessed beyond every generational curse because I am a member of Christ’s body. Sin shall have no dominion over me. WHO IS THE FOOL?
Download Audio Version☞ bit.ly,div> Psalm 14:1 (KJV) The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. Joe had developed an attitude of not showing up for work because he felt activities at work weren’t important unless their boss was around. He was warned several times about this attitude but failed to listen until one day, a sudden roll call was carried out. It was later revealed that their boss had always been at work observing them even at times when they believed he was away because his car was not in the parking lot. Many were sacked as a result of their absence and negligence and Joe was one of them. Many have viewed today’s Bible verse only from the perspective of an atheist or agnostic’s refusal to accept the existence or knowledge of God, but truly, it means more for the believer. For instance, one reason many have the habit of going late to church is because they lack understanding of this scripture. If they truly believe that according to God’s word, The Lord will be present in their midst when they gather in His name, they would take an appointment with Him more seriously than they would take an appointment with their governor or president (Pr
RAISED UP BY HIS POWER
Download Audio Version☞ bit.ly/audio1748 1 Corinthians 6:14(NET) Now God indeed raised the Lord and he will raise us by his power. Bill was about to commit suicide when he remembered that there was still one person in this world who truly cared for him. This person was his high school best friend who he had lost contact with. Bill searched for Ben to no avail until he decided to use the help of a witch who was an expert at finding people. She asked for Ben’s name and date of birth and ran her demonic search. The results came back and she told Bill that Ben had died several years ago. She gave him Ben’s date of his death and his last address. For some reason, Bill did not believe that Ben was dead so he kept searching for him until he got information that led him to Ben who was now a minister of the gospel. A few days later, Bill told Ben about his visit to the witch and how she said he had died. What surprised them was that the address the witch gave was once Ben’s address, and the date she gave as Ben’s date of death was the date Ben was baptized in water. Ben no longer existed in the demonic registry because of his baptism. This is a true story (names were changed). By virtue of our new birth in Christ Jesus, we have become members of the body of Christ. As a result of this, everything that happened to Christ happens to us. Through faith in Christ, we were crucified with Him and now live a life that is powered and sustained by Christ’s faith and faithfulness (Galatians 2:20). Through Baptism, we were buried with Christ, have lost our old identity, and have received a new one that demons cannot understand (Romans 6:4). Since we have died with Christ and have been buried with Him, God will also raise us by His power just as He raised Christ into Glory. Go into today remembering that because you have died with Christ and have been buried with Him, you will resurrect into His glory. —SD Abraham Bible in 1 Year: Hosea 1-7 (in today’s audio) To start getting Streamglobe Devotional Text & Audio on your WhatsApp, join our WhatsApp Group Here☞ https://chat.whatsapp.com/6hVjJRcL6Av9fQ0LrEv9XM To Start getting Devotional Audio with Audio Bible, Join Telegram Group Here☞ https://t.me/streamglobe1 Get sermons here☞ streamglobe.org/34 Streamglobe is nondenominational. WHOSE TABLE ARE YOU EATING FROM?
Download Audio Version☞ bit.ly/audio1746 1 Corinthians 10:21 KJVYe cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils. I remember that meal times in the boarding house caused anxiety because there existed the possibility of one forfeiting his meal that day. Student diners must be assigned to a particular table and must be eaten according to schedule. Failure to comply with this arrangement, lateness or having incorrect cutleries, may result in a student going hungry that day. Idolatry is an obvious error by those who claim to be believers but partake of the devil’s table via activities such as using charms, occultism, soothsaying etc. There are also other subtler forms that are equally as bad as the more obvious one. Both are in danger of judgment and missing out on God’s kingdom (1 Cor 6:9-10, Gal 5:19-21, Eph 5:5-7). In John chapter 6 verses 41,48,51,53 to 58, Christ unequivocally calls His flesh (The Word) food and His blood drink, which we must all partake of if we must have life. It then follows that by salvation and our subsequent meditation on the word, we eat from the Lord’s Table. But by contrast, engaging in that (such as literature, audio or visual content) which appeals to sin and the flesh’s sensuality (for example pornography) is us eating from the devil’s table. Go into today, partaking continuously of the Lord’s Table with the strict diet of the word even in the face of adversity or doubt. As you do so, God’s overflowing goodness and mercy will never depart from your life (Ps 23:5-6).Prayer: Lord, please help me to feed only from your table and grow. SAFEGUARD AGAINST ERROR
Download Audio Version☞ bit.ly/audio1746 1 Corinthians 6:12-13 (KJV) All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. When Amaka’s boyfriend found out that she was leaving him because of her faith in Christ, he tried to convince her to stay. He opened the Bible and read 1 Corinthians 6:12. He tried to persuade her that since she was free in Christ, all things were permissible for her. She was almost convinced by his doctrine but knew in her spirit that continuing to live with him in sin was not the will of God, so she left even though she was quite confused. When she discussed this confusion with her pastor, he made her understand that ‘all things’ talked about in 1 Cor 6:12 was within the context of the food we eat and nothing more. I have counseled a lady whose ‘Christian’ fiancé was trying to convince her to commit immorality with him, and he was doing so using the Bible verses like the one above. It is dangerous when believers read the Bible but do not understand it. When the devil tempted Jesus, he was using phrases from the scripture, but Jesus was not deceived because he understood scripture even from when he was 12 years. Go into today remembering that the biggest safeguard against error and mistakes is understanding the scriptures and knowing the power of God (see Matthew 22:29, Psalm 119:9). Ask the Lord to give you the spirit of revelation and understanding so that you may grow in Him. —SD Abraham Bible in 1 Year: Proverbs 19 (in today’s audio) To start getting Streamglobe Devotional Text & Audio on your WhatsApp, join our WhatsApp Group Here☞ https://chat.whatsapp.com/Am0twb9Vvz69f6T1pAUyom Devotional with audio Bible reading now only available on our Telegram groups Join Telegram Group Here☞ https://t.me/streamglobe1 Kindly share this interdenominational Devotional with your contacts and let’s touch lives together. YOU HAVE BEEN WASHED
Download Audio Version☞ bit.ly/audio1745 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (NET) Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, passive homosexual partners, practicing homosexuals, thieves, the greedy, drunkards, the verbally abusive, and swindlers will not inherit the kingdom of God. Some of you once lived this way. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. When Amaka accepted the Lord Jesus, she knew it was time for her to move out of her boyfriend’s house and end the ungodly relationship. But because her boyfriend was rich and was the one who paid most of her bills, she found it very difficult to leave him. Three weeks had passed and she was still living with him. She started deceiving herself and telling herself that the way she lived her life didn’t matter, that all that mattered was her faith (She didn’t realize that the two could not be separated). But one night, she slept and dreamt that her filthy rags were changed into pure white clean clothes. But she went and sat down back into the mud from where she was raised. It was no ordinary dream. The next morning, she packed her things and left her boyfriend’s house. She did this because she realized that she had been washed and cleansed, and continuing in sin was going to get her back into the bondage of the devil. It is the deception of the devil that makes a believer think that he can continue in his sins and inherit the kingdom of God. Jesus says “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of heaven–only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven”(Matt 7:21). Go into today remembering that as a person sanctified, even if you fall, you get cleansed and do not take your place in sin. Ask the Lord to send eye-opening encounters and revelations to his children who may be going astray. —SD Abraham Bible in 1 Year: Psalms 99-101 (in today’s audio) To start getting Streamglobe Devotional Text & Audio on your WhatsApp, join our WhatsApp Group Here☞ https://chat.whatsapp.com/Am0twb9Vvz69f6T1pAUyom Devotional with audio Bible reading now only available on our Telegram groups Join Telegram Group Here☞ https://t.me/streamglobe1 Go Here to get sermons☞ streamglobe.org/34 Streamglobe is nondenominational. THE FAME OF HIS NAME 5
Download Audio Version☞ bit.ly/audio1744 Isaiah 9:6 (KJV) For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. A difference exists between an ordinary citizen trying to settle a quarrel and one who is backed by the law. I watched as two young men grappled and held each other by the throat amidst pleas from onlookers for them to stop. They held on until a police van pulled up on the scene. Immediately, the young men were separated and in no time the squabble was squelched. They may not have agreed yet but they knew better than to persist with the fighting. Christ isn’t just an arbiter of peace; He is The Prince of Peace. If an ordinary officer with limited authority can halt a warring situation, how much more one who is Royalty and bears all authority (Ps 46:9)? Peace isn’t necessarily the absence of war but it is the prevailing calmness even in the midst of war which comes only from God (Phil 4:6-7). It isn’t ordinary and we do not deserve it, but it came at the highest cost, paid in full by Christ Jesus. Therefore, by believing and receiving Him as our peace, we soar over the battle. Go into today remembering that you serve the prince of peace. Ask the Lord to bring His peace into your life and cause you to prosper from all things. Prayer: Ask the Lord to speak peace into every storm in your life. Confession: My life is ruled by God’s peace. The peace of Lord that passes all understanding fills my heart. All things in my life are working according to God’s plan, in Jesus name. Amen. —Chibo E.C. While Chinedu was still mingling with the world and running his business as an unbeliever, he was still having episodes of spiritual attacks and nightmares. There was a night that he literally saw a demon come into his bedroom to torment and oppress him. He wondered why these things were still happening to him. He was told that if he accepted the Lord Jesus, he would become a child of God and would no longer be susceptible to his previous attacks, but that didn’t really seem to be the case. He was still having experiences that made him doubt if the power of God was real in his life? As he decided to abide in the Lord and not go back to the world, he realized that the Holy Spirit moved him to separate himself from his old friends who were unbelievers. He also observed that his faith became much stronger when he did this. With time, he woke up one morning and observed that his afflictions had all disappeared. He was so preoccupied with seeking the Lord and growing that he even forgot about them. Many believers in the Lord Jesus today are not having the experiential reality of the fatherhood of God and they wonder why. Today’s Bible verse was to believers who even though they had the motions corresponding to faith in Christ Jesus, they needed to understand that those who enjoy the fatherhood dimensions of relationship with God are those who are wholly separated unto the Lord. This means separation from friendship with the world and living with the consciousness that they are indeed different from the world around them. —SD Abraham Bible in 1 Year: Numbers 5-8 (in today’s audio) To start getting Streamglobe Devotional Text & Audio on your WhatsApp, join our WhatsApp Group Here☞ https://chat.whatsapp.com/Am0twb9Vvz69f6T1pAUyom or Telegram Group☞ https://t.me/streamglobe1 Not yet saved?
