Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God.And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. After Maureen’s business started doing really well, she faced a new set of challenges she hadn’t envisaged. Some ‘influential’ people in her town told her that if she didn’t join their secret society, they were going to run her out of business. They gave her examples of people who refused to join them that have been run out of business. They also gave her numerous examples of ‘successful’ business people in that town that belonged to their secret society. She knew she couldn’t join them because she was a child of God. But she was quite afraid of their threats– so much that it became difficult for her to sleep properly at night. She took out a whole night to pray in the Spirit about the matter. After praying for some time, she noticed that all the fear and anxiety in her heart had left. She was no more afraid and now knew exactly what to do. She was now confident that the Lord was fighting for her. Months passed, but Maureen never again heard from those people. She noticed that their leader would run away each time he sees her in the market. Maureen’s business continued to increase. In this life, things come that would seek to send us into anxiety. God knows this, that’s why He has instructed us to pray about all things. One of the signs that we have ’prayed through’ concerning a matter is the peace of God that comes to replace the anxiety that was in our hearts. Go into today remembering that you are not to be anxious about anything, but to pray about everything. Continue to pray until the peace of God replaces the fear and anxiety. Prayer: Lord, please help me to pray through concerning all things that seek to trouble my heart. —Pst SD Abraham Not yet saved? Get Today’s Audio☞ bit.ly/aud1781 Philippians 4:6-7 (NET) Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God.And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Many believers treat some of the Lord’s command more lightly than others. A good example is the one in today’s Bible verses, which is actually an echo of the Lord’s teaching in Matthew 6. See what the Lord says there: Matthew 6:25(ESV)“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? We saw yesterday that believers who walk in the physical manifestation of their spiritual blessings are those who live in obedience to the commands of the Lord. There are dimensions of the blessings activated as we understand and obey certain principles of our Lord. For example, those who understand and obey the Lord’s principle of honor receive favor, have prosperity and would live long. That is why the command that we should honor our parents is the first that comes with a promise– the promise of long life and prosperity (see Eph 6:1-3). The command of the Lord that instructs us not to be anxious is the one that activates the Shalom (peace) of God in our lives when we obey it. Peace for us believers is not just the absence of turbulence, but a spiritual power (see Luke 10:6) that causes things to work properly [in your favor]. Go into today remembering that anxiety is a thief that hinders God’s people from walking in the blessing of God’s peace. The easiest way to deal with this thief is to pray until it leaves and your peace returns. —Pst SD Abraham Not yet saved? After Maurine finished her training and started her own business, she observed that things were unusually tight for her. She wasn’t getting customers, and the few she got owed her. Because she was a spiritual person, she knew something was spiritually out of order. She started seeking to know what to do to break the limitation and walk in her blessings as God’s child. After listening to an audio sermon on her phone, She realized that she had been wrong in not honoring her parents all the while, and that could be the reason things were not going well with her business. She decided at that moment that she would commit herself to honor her parents every month with a token. . Six months later, Maurine’s financial doors opened. She had many apprentices, and so many customers that she almost couldn’t cope. All this promotion happened within six months after she decided to obey the law of the Lord that says children should honor their parents (see Ephesians 6:1-2). We have seen earlier that the law of the Lord for the believer is not the 613 laws of the Torah, nor is it even the ten commandments. The believer is not under the old testament law, but this does not make us without law (see 1 Cor 9:21), we are under the law of Christ. Of the Ten Commandments, the Lord (through His sermons and through the teachings of His apostles) reiterated nine. He also gave us many commandments that cannot be found in the laws of old. For example, the Lord commands us not to live in anxiety (see Matt 6:25, Phil 4:6, 1 Pet 5:7), turn the other cheek (Matt 5:38), love our enemies(Matt 544), etc. Go into today remembering that believers who would walk in the physical manifestation of their spiritual blessings are those who are careful to live in obedience to the commands of the Lord. Get Today’s Audio☞ bit.ly/aud1779 Matthew 16:18 (KJV)And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Richard got a job in that nation as a medical doctor, migrated there and started practicing. But his medical practice was simply ‘tent making’ (as in the case of Paul). He was a man on a mission. His real work was to be an apostle of the Lord in that land where it was a crime to preach the gospel. He noticed that there were many people in that nation from his native country, and he knew that many of them came as Christians. He started seeking out the true believers among them. As soon as he found up to two willing believers, they started meeting regularly in his house to pray. The number grew to five and continued to grow. All they did every night was to pray (mostly in the spirit) and sometimes share the word. They interceded for the land and asked the Lord to rain down mercy and salvation. A time came that Richard was sure that he had the healing anointing. Some of his patients whose cases defied medical treatment were his first converts because he ministered healing to them in the name of the Lord and wonderful miracles happened. These converts became members of his secret prayer meeting. Before recharge migrated to that country in obedience to the Lord, he had never worked in the healing anointing. But as he started his mission, he walked so much in the healing anointing that he was sure HIV, cancer and many other incurable sicknesses would be cured if he simply laid his hands on the patient. Go into today remembering that one of the biggest activators of the anointing upon any life is obedience and service. Every child of God should be a servant of God. We would not all be apostles or ministers in the church, but we are all God’s ministers and witnesses in the world. Prayer: Ask the Lord to show you your path of service and help you to obey. THE MARKS OF A TRUE APOSTLE 4

Get Today’s Audio☞ bit.ly/aud1778 Acts 21:13 (NIV) Then Paul answered, “Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” Richard observed that in that nation he visited, strong systems were put in place to hinder the advancement of the gospel of Christ. He also observed that many Christians around the world were not really interested in preaching the gospel to the people of that region because the church had systematically developed negative emotions towards them. This was a major reason the gospel hadn’t penetrated that region and the gates of hell seemed ever stronger. After visiting that nation and interacting with the people there, the Lord poured great love and compassion in his heart for them. As a typical Christian who had developed a closed heart towards those ‘children of the bondwoman’, the Lord had to open his heart towards them so that he could effectively bring salvation to them. ‘How would I preach the gospel in this place where it is a crime to preach?’ He kept asking the Lord. But each time he asked, he received peace in heart and assurance of the Lord’s presence with him. This was enough for him. He knew he was going to face persecution if he was going to fulfill the call of God upon his life, but he knew that as long as the Lord was with Him, he was fine. He was willing to give his life to save those people. The gates of hell in certain territories today seem stronger by the day. But it is because the church has not opened her heart to the people in those territories.  Go into today remembering that before you can effectively win souls for Christ, you must first care about them. The gates of hell cannot withstand the power of the church that does not give up. Prayer: Pray for God’s apostles in the most difficult parts of the world for the gospel. Ask the Lord to confirm His word through them with signs and wonders (Heb 2:4). —SD Abraham Yearly Bible: Hebrews 1-4 (in today’s Telegram audio) To start getting Streamglobe Devotional Text & Audio on your WhatsApp, join our WhatsApp Group Here☞ https://chat.whatsapp.com/LKGiayDSG7P5hc49BO6HXR Streamglobe is interdenominational. Are you not my work in the Lord?If I am not an apostle to others, at least I am to you, for you are the confirming sign of my apostleship in the Lord. Richard was sure of the assignment and the place, but he didn’t know that there were so many gates set by darkness to hinder the invasions of the gospel in that land. The first time he went to that country after his youth service, he went for a medical conference. His things were thoroughly searched at the airport and they were asking all sorts of questions. Naturally, he traveled with a Bible in his bag, but when he got to his hotel room and settled in, he noticed that his Bible was missing from his things. It became clear to him that the people at the airport were the ones who seized his Bible. They didn’t want any Bibles in their country and didn’t want the gospel. This only confirmed what the Lord had told Richard concerning his assignment. Jesus says ’ I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it’ (see Matt 16:18). One major function of gates is to prevent entry. Gates of hell are systems placed by darkness to hinder the advancement of the gospel in territories. Nations that oppose the preaching of the gospel have aligned with the gates of hell. But the good news for every Apostolic Christian is that the gates of hell would not be able to prevail against you as long as you are ready to go and be a witness for the Lord. Go into today remembering those who brought the gospel to your nation in spite of the gates of hell that sought to hinder them. Ask the Lord to provide an open door for His apostles in nations where the gates of hell have much sway. —SD Abraham Bible in 1 Year: John 19-21 (in today’s Telegram audio) To start getting Streamglobe Devotional Text & Audio on your WhatsApp, join our WhatsApp Group Here☞ https://chat.whatsapp.com/ImeHmc6EjZ8Jq7lzvPRpch Streamglobe is interdenominational. If I am not an apostle to others, yet doubtless I am to you. For you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord. After Richard graduated from the University, he went for his country’s mandatory Youth Service Corps. He spent most of that time waiting on the Lord to get clear directions on what exactly he was to do next in life. This was when it became clear to him that it was in accordance with God’s eternal plan for him that he studied medicine and surgery. This was to be used to gain entrance into an open door for apostolic work in an unreached nation. He knew the nation the Lord was sending him to after this period of waiting. Later on, he met some older ministers of God, and they made it clear to him that he had the call to be an apostle because of the nature of the assignment the Lord had given him. Soon after that, he started having encounters with the Lord Jesus in visions and dreams. His seal of Apostleship was the disciples who were a direct product of his work in the Lord’s vineyard. Everywhere he went, he made true disciples. From the scriptural standpoint, one mark of true Apostleship is true disciples. The Apostles of the Lord were to make disciples of nations. And this they did. Apostles are wise master builders (1 Cor 3:10). And most of the time, they are those the Lord uses to break ground in new territories or lay proper foundations of God’s building(the church) in territories. They set things in order. From today’s Bible verses, one thing is clear: Apostles are known by their disciples. Show me true disciples of the Lord Jesus, and I will show you that it was directly or indirectly the product of an Apostolic work. Go into today knowing that false apostles can’t make true disciples of the Lord Jesus. DISCERNING THE BODY OF CHRIST 3

Get Today’s Audio☞ bit.ly/aud1775 1 Corinthians 11:29-30 (KJV)For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. No member of the body is strong on its own; the strength of every part is drawn from its attachment to other parts. If the hand is detached from the shoulder, it will not be able to perform the function of the hand. The same applies to the body of Christ (the Church). If you consider a member of the body alone, that member is weak. So, if you continue to see the individual parts of the body alone, you will always see weakness. If you must see, experience and constantly enjoy the strength in the body, you must see each member in the light of the whole body. When you tear down your father’s house, it shows that you are either ignorant or have been overtaken by an external influence. Ephesians 5:29 (KJV), “For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church.” Mark 9:40 (KJV), “For he that is not against us is on our part”.If you have done this in the past, repent and turn over a new leaf now, because you have been enlightened. You may not be physically sick, weak or poor now, even when you have criticized, condemned and have torn down the body of Christ. You must, however, remember that you are a steward and will give an account of your stewardship. Bolaji observed that in his family, every man was a chronic womanizer. His father left his mother for another woman because of this. His grandfather did the same, but only returned to his wife when he became very sick and his lovers deserted him. His father tried to return to his mother when he too became very sick, but his mother wouldn’t accept him back. Even though Bolaji was born again and happily married, he observed that a feeling of discontentment towards his wife and a strong lust for other women started growing within his heart. It didn’t take him long to realize that the same demon that led his grandfather and father astray was now on his case. He knew this was a family curse when he started having symptoms of the same disease that killed his father and grandfather. He had prayed and fasted for many days, but as soon as his fasting ended, the lust came back. The Lord revealed to him that he had to change his belief concerning certain things if he wanted to walk in spiritual liberty. His life and world-view was not shaped by the word of God because he wasn’t devoted to the ministry of the word enough. Every believer in Christ has a heritage of blessings rather than curses (see Ephesians 1:3), and should walk in total freedom. But this freedom is appropriated through our knowledge of the truth. It was to those who believed in Him that Jesus said ‘you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free’ (see John 8:31-32). Christ sets us free through our knowledge of the truth revealed by the word of God we know and believe. Those who still believe they are under ancestral curses, rather than believe God’s truth concerning them, never truly experience freedom. Go into today changing what you believe according the truth of God’s word concerning you. THE MARKS OF A TRUE APOSTLE 1

Get Today’s Audio☞ bit.ly/aud1773 1 Corinthians 9:1 (NKJV) Am I not an apostle? Am I not free? Have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? Are you not my work in the Lord? Femi had reasons to work closely with a servant of God who had an Apostolic call. After his experience with this Apostle, he couldn’t help but notice how spiritually free the apostle was. This spiritual liberty was contagious. It was characterized by such joy and peace that words could not describe. This servant of God didn’t put on any clout and was as down to earth as one can be, but Femi could sense the true peace and liberty that this servant of God enjoyed. He had dealt with other ministers before who proved to be untruthful, but this servant of God was different. He was free. In today’s Bible verse, the first proof of apostleship Apostle Paul stated was ‘am I not free?…’ One of the most important hallmarks of the true apostolic ministry is that it sets people free from the bondage of darkness. It doesn’t stop at bringing pockets of individuals into freedom but seeks to bring about national liberation. Such is the stature of the apostolic ministry. Jesus commanded His apostles to go and make disciples of nations (see Matt 28:19). A nation can be defined as a group of people who have the same culture, speak the same language, etc. A nation is a group of people who have the same destiny because of certain peculiarities they share. There are nations within nation-states, and because of the peculiarity of each nation, God usually sends apostles to them with special messages that would resonate with their reality and bring them to the liberty of His kingdom. For example, we see that Apostle Peter was an apostle to the Jewish nation, but Paul was not (Gal 2:8). For one to be a minister of freedom, it is expedient that he himself be free indeed. Many believers do not yet walk in freedom from certain symptoms of the old fleshly bondage they were born with. This is a process that only the Holy Spirit can execute. But we have to let Him. Go into today remembering that who the Son sets free is free indeed. Ask the Lord to cleanse you of every vestige of the fleshly nature that may seek to find expression in your present reality as a minister of God’s liberty. —Pst SD Abraham Bible in 1 Year: II Chronicles 1-5 (in today’s Telegram audio) To start getting Streamglobe Devotional Text & Audio on your WhatsApp, join our WhatsApp Group Here☞ https://chat.whatsapp.com/2Q746K7zdL6J8IbTfCfEEF Streamglobe is interdenominational.
