Abundant Grace 2

He believed he had failed God too many times and God would not be willing to have anything to do with Him. But after he summoned the courage to go to church that evening,  he heard a sermon concerning the abundant grace of God. He immediately knew that even though his sins were big,  God’s grace was bigger. Because he received the forgiveness of God,  he determined to talk to his pastor about his struggles because he didn’t want to go back to where he was before he came to church that day. He was guided to some spiritual disciplines that the Lord used to deliver him from bondage to certain sins. Yesterday,  we saw that grace is like the detergent and effort put into washing a dirty vessel or cloth. The dirtier a cloth, the more the detergent and effort required to wash it. The good thing is that we serve an unlimited God with abundant grace. There is sufficient grace in God to wash the vilest of sinners and turn him into a saint. Even after you have believed and have been washed,  God does not want you to sin and His grace ensures this,  but if you sin,  there is still sufficient grace to cleanse you and make you clean again(see 1John 2:1-2). You have to believe this and not let the devil rob you of your freedom because of guilt and ignorance. Dwelling in guilt would only ensure that you become ensnared to sin,  but receiving the abundant grace and forgiveness of God is the way to receive strength to constantly walk in victory over sin. Go into today remembering that the abundance of God’s grace towards you is greater than any sin and accusation of Satan. Stand in this grace and enjoy God’s victory over sin and the devil. Prayer: Father, thank You for Your abundant grace. Please help me walk in it and please you in all things, in Jesus name. Amen -Abraham Damilola Arigi Want to be saved? Abundant Grace

Download Today’s Audio: bit.ly/audDev2014 You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Register for the Conference Here: www.streamglobe.org/conference2019 Romans 5:20 (NET) Now the law came in so that the transgression may increase, but where sin increased, grace multiplied all the more Some children were playing roughly on their neighbor’s car and damaging it. Because they were children, even though they somehow knew that what they were doing was not correct, they did not understand the full gravity. Now in order for them to understand the gravity,  their neighbor and their parents gave them clear instructions never again to play on their neighbor’s car and told them the consequences,  but they disobeyed their parents’ instruction still. By continuing to play on the car and damage it,  they were now committing two wrongs: they were roughing up their neighbor’s car and were now disobeying a direct instruction from their parents and their neighbor. When they damaged their neighbors bumper and he forgave them by paying for the repairs,  he was forgiving them for two great offenses, and for this, they were truly grateful (because as teenagers, they knew he could press charges and have them prosecuted). Their neighbor did not only forgive those kids for roughing up his car(which they intuitively knew was wrong), but he forgave them for also disobeying and disregarding his instructions and warnings against their actions(the disregard was more painful). Man committed sin from the beginning,  but without the law,  we did not know how dangerous sin was(it was the law that showed us that the wages of sin is death). God gave Man a conscience that acts as a law within him(see Rom 2:14-15),  violating that conscience is sin in itself,  but when the law came,  sinning was now double transgression. The one was violating the principle of life, and the other was disobedience to the commands of God. Because of the law,  sin became even more sinful and offensive(a double violation). Thus, the grace that made us free from the filthiness and consequences of sin had to much more abound. Grace is like the detergent and effort put in to wash a filthy vessel. Grace is God’s cost and effort to wash away the filth of our sins and make us clean and justified to stand before Him and share in His divine nature. You would agree with me that the dirtier something is,  there would be more detergent and work required to clean it. Where sin increased,  grace multiplied much more. Go into today remembering that it cost God the life of His only begotten son to clean you of your sins. Don’t take this sacrifice for granted by willfully walking in the flesh(sin). Do everything possible to flee the path of sin. Seek help if the need be. Prayer: Lord, thank you for your grace that gives me access to your divine life. Please help me walk worthy of this grace and please you in all respects(see Eph 4:1, Col 1:10, 1 Thess 2:21). Want to be saved? Right from when the world began, there have been challenges. After God finished creating the world, there was a challenge of who was going to be in charge of all He had created. God’s idea to solve that challenge was to create man. “So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth” (Genesis 1:27-28). Since then, the solutions to the world’s problems has resided in God’s man. Irrespective of the circumstances of our birth, we were not born by mistake. We are God’s solution to the myriad of challenges that the world is facing. No matter the challenge, the way God will solve it is through men. He is not going to come to earth to fix its challenges. So we all are created to be the solution of each, and every one of our challenges. God saw needs to be met, and He created us to meet those needs. The first need of the world was leadership, and until today, the world is still in dire need of leaders. Do you know what? God created you to meet that need, even in the smallest of groups. The idea that will bring the desired change and solutions that we all need is going to come through men God has placed in our spheres of influence. That is why we all need to connect with each other so that through our networking, God will solve the challenges that will creep up in our lives. Men are God’s solutions to your challenges, so treat them as such. You are also the solution to someone’s challenge. That was how God designed the world. We were created to meet our various needs, individually and collectively and this should excite us to give our all when people need us to help them. We are standing in God’s stead and it is a blessing. You are a solution to the world. Prayer: Dear loving Father, thank You for making me a solution to my world. Thank You for trusting me to stand in Your stead to meet the needs of the world. I am excited by this and by Your Spirit, I will give my all to be the solution that the world craves, in Jesus’ Name. Trusting In His Righteousness

Download Today’s Audio here☞ bit.ly/audio2011 You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Register for the Conference Here: www.streamglobe.org/conference2019  Romans 5:18-19 (NET)   Consequently, just as condemnation for all people came through one transgression, so too through the one righteous act came righteousness leading to life for all people. For just as through the disobedience of the one man many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of one man many will be made righteous.   Ada didn’t believe that God had forgiven her her sins but somehow sought for a way to pay for them. Because of this, she didn’t receive the cleansing of the Lord and found that the sin still had power over her,  thus she could not continue to resist it and became a slave to it. As she sought for help,  she realized that understanding that her right standing with God was first because of Christ’s righteousness made her able to receive the forgiveness of God and cleansing from all unrighteousness. When a believer acknowledges his sins and repents before the Lord,  he receives forgiveness of sins and cleansing from all unrighteousness(see 1 John 1:9). Forgiveness takes away the guilt and restores our confidence before God,  but cleansing from all unrighteousness takes away the power of unrighteousness that weakens us and ensures that we go back to our sins. Those who receive God’s forgiveness are those who can also receive His cleansing. It is important for believers to always remember that the most important factor of our right standing with God is the righteousness of Christ Jesus. Even though after we have received the kingdom,  we are expected to yield to the righteousness of Christ and let it manifest through us, the definition of self-righteousness in a believer is a righteousness and confidence that is not based on (and does not stem from) the righteousness of Christ,  but one that is based on his own performance. Go into today remembering that what consistently undermines the liberating power of grace in the life of the believer is trust in self-righteousness, rather than total faith in the righteousness of Jesus. Receiving forgiveness of sins is predicated on faith in the sacrifice and righteousness of Jesus. Prayer: Ask the Lord to deliver you from every trust in self-righteousness and help you repose all your trust in Him alone. Want to be saved? Praying Wisely

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Register for the Conference Here: www.streamglobe.org/conference2019 Download Today’s Audio here☞ http://bit.ly/aud1592 Philippians 4:6-7 (NET) 6 Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Rhoda was now 30 years old and was not yet married. Her mother was worried sick because she said Rhoda will soon pass ‘the flower of her age’. Rhoda was not worried because each time anxiety tried to enter her heart, she handled it in the place of prayer. Because of this, she was a very cheerful and joyful person and had a very attractive personality. This was what attracted the man who eventually married her. He was a very successful and well-celebrated businessman who loved the lord. He wanted that joy and peace he saw radiating from Rhoda to be in his home, so he asked her to marry him. Anxiety and heaviness are popular negative spiritual forces that hinder the flow of grace and God’s blessings. That is one reason the Lord says we should be anxious for nothing. The most effective way to handle anxiety is through prayer and thanksgiving. One way you will know that you have prayed through is when you no longer feel the anxiety and now feel the peace of God. It is wise to continue to pray about a matter until the anxiety leaves your heart. Go into today determined to live a life that radiates the glory and joy of the Lord. Prayer: Ask the Lord to help you always cast your cares upon Him(Psalm 55:2). Want to be saved? As He is, So Are We

Download audio version here: bit.ly/aud2010 You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Register for the Conference Here: www.streamglobe.org/conference2019 1 John 4:17 (KJV) Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. Previously, we have looked at the manifestation of the qualities of love in God and how it affects us. But, we know that 1 Corinthians 13, from which we discussed the love qualities of God, is actually talking about us. If God is love, then we are to love also, for as He is so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). And because God is exhibiting these love qualities to the full, we can also exhibit them. Don’t forget, He has come to give us life and that we should have this life to the full (John 10:10). This life is a love-filled life, and we have this life to the full. We love and we are kind, patient, not jealous, not proud or boastful, not selfish, not easily provoked, we don’t keep any record of wrong, we rejoice in justice and truth, never give up, and we love for eternity. Yes, that’s who we are. We love because we have the Spirit of love and the very love of God shed abroad and intently in our hearts (Romans 5:5). You might not be exhibiting these love qualities to the fullest, you might not even be exhibiting one, but that does not remove the fact that you are God’s child who should love as He does. It simply means there is a need for intentional growth. You just need to believe it and start living the love-life that you have. God is love, so are you. Be love to all. Show them the expression of love and what love truly is. By so doing, you are doing what God would have done if He was present in your stead. Be love. Go into today remembering that the hallmark of spiritual maturity is walking in our divine nature of love. All the other benefits of maturity which include spiritual might/power, authority, etc,  will eventually find expression in the life of the believer who walks in love. Keep winning daily! Prayer: Thank you Lord for the Your love-life which You have given me. By the working of the Spirit of love in me, I exhibit who I am – Love – to the fullest, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Inherited Righteousness

Keneth got himself into trouble when he started following certain teachers who taught strange things. They taught him that his conduct as a young man didn’t matter much before God, because God deals with him based on the righteousness of Christ, so his conduct didn’t matter. They quoted the Bible verse above to buttress their point. As a result of these doctrines, Kenneth sunk deeper and deeper into iniquity and made many mistakes that he lived to regret years later. The Lord restored him when he started reading Streamglobe devotional (Actual Name changed). All human beings were made sinners because of the sin of the one man Adam. It is on that same basis that all who believe in Christ will be made righteousness by the righteousness of Christ the last Adam. Now,  even though all were made sinners because of the sin of Adam,  the basis of God’s judgment on every individual person would be his individual actions (see Ecclesiastes 12:14). Before God, sinners are judged for their own sins, not for the sin of Adam. What Adam’s sin did was to open the door of sin to mankind,  such that the sinful nature became our nature by default. But for those who believe in Christ,  His righteousness opens the doors of endless righteousness and holiness to us, such that if any man is in Christ,  sin would not have dominion over him. Go into today remembering that people became sinners because of Adam’s sin,  but individuals will be judged and condemned because of their own sins which they have committed. People become righteous because of Christ’s righteousness,  but people will be rewarded and elevated in God’s kingdom because of their obedience and service in [the doing of] righteousness (see 1 Cor 3:13-15, Mat 16:27, Rev 22:12). For God Is Love

Love never dies. It is for eternity. Love will never cease to exist or fail, It lasts forever. I am not referring to human love which ceases to exist or dies, I am referring to God’s love. God is called Love, and as long as God is still alive and will not die, His love will never die or cease to exist. His love will last forever. God is eternal, so also is His love. His loves eternally. Scriptures say in 1 Corinthians 13:8(NLT) that “prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever!” In the world to come, we will not have a need for prophecy, speaking in unknown languages or special knowledge, they won’t be of any importance, but love will be palpably present. God’s Love for you is eternal. You are eternally loved by God, and nothing can make God’s love for you to cease, die or fail. Nothing can separate you from the love of God, absolutely nothing (Romans 8:35-39). Not even your sin can make God’s love for you to cease. Yes, you read that right. No matter how sinful you are, God will still love you eternally. When you were still having the nature of sin and was a servant of Satan and sin, God loved you intensely (Romans 5:6&8). Now that you are His child, He cannot stop loving you because you sinned. Even the atheist that doesn’t believe in God’s existence is loved intensely by God. His love never fails, ceases or dies. It stays forever, nothing can and no one will make God stop loving you. You are eternally loved by the eternal God. Be like God and love eternally. Go into today basking in God’s love for you and keep winning daily. Prayer: Dear loving God, thank You for Your love that never fails or ceases but lasts forever. Thank You for loving me eternally. Help me, by the working of Your Spirit, to respond positively to Your love and to also love people eternally, like You do, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Want to be saved? Destined To Reign 2

Download audio version here: bit.ly/aud2007 You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Register for the Conference Here: www.streamglobe.org/conference2019 Romans 5:17 (NET) For if, by the transgression of the one man, death reigned through the one, how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ! After Sally started reading those faith-building books,  one of the first things she realized was that there was so much that she did not know. There were many assumptions she had been making that limited her access to grace. She read stories that reminded and assured her of the power of Christ, and gradually,  her faith was now becoming stronger. As she understood the gift of righteousness,  she realized that her right-standing with God was a gift. She now understood that she was to walk in righteousness not so that she would attain right-standing(approval) with God, but because she already had right-standing with God through Christ Jesus. All things that pertain to life and godliness has been made available to us through the abundant grace of the Lord Jesus. Grace is the power of God that empowers a believer to reign in life and fulfills his divine destiny, but the key that accesses God’s abundant grace is righteousness. This righteousness is a gift received by faith. The righteousness of works[that is apart from faith] is not strong enough to access the bounties of grace. Go into today remembering that your access-key to Christ’s abundant grace is righteousness. This righteousness is a gift that we receive by faith. Faith, by definition, makes us trust and obey the One upon whom it is reposed. Prayer: Father, help me understand that my right standing with you is because of Christ, not because of me. Help walk in all the benefits of being in Christ, in Jesus name. Amen. Not yet truly born again?
