Job 22:21 (KJV) Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.
Bola had desired many beautiful things and had trusted the Lord from childhood for these things, but he achieved very little. This vexed him so much that he blamed the government of his country, his parents, and everything around him for his poor achievements.
One day as he studied the Bible, he came across a passage; one of his favorite memory verses, but it came with a different meaning this time. He found in this passage that the way to success had been spelled out. It was after this revelation that he exclaimed ‘I have been responsible for my own setback!’
After confessing his ignorance, Bola has since followed that revelation into great success in life.
Here is the verse that changed Bola’s life: Joshua 1:8
– This Book of the Law (God’s word) shall not depart from your mouth.
(What are your confessions about yourself and your situations?)
– You shall meditate in it day and night.
(How much of God’s word do you have? Which have you done best, meditating on God’s word or worrying?)
– Observe to do according to all that is written in it.
(Are you true to God’s word or have you adjusted it to soothe you?)
– For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Go into today, making up your mind to:
Speak the Word, think upon the Word and do the Word. When you do these, your testimonies will be inexhaustible in Jesus’ name. Amen
Prayer: confess your ignorance and ask for grace to do as prescribed. Not born again?
